I know that its not "supposed" to happen that way, but my friend with 3 kids (all planned) said she always conceived on the 3rd day after her period (which lasterd 4-5 days) on a 30 day cycle so I suppose anything's possible

Seems like it would be too early to me. Your body probably hasn't had enought time to make mature follicles and your lining is probably not as thick so it will sustain a healthy pregnancy. I would call you doctor and get their input on this. Good luck!

Was that the only positive? I got a bad batch and the first one I took was positive, but then after that it went from positive to negative, back to positive! Keep doing the tests and see how it lines up!

Are you using the digital or the ones with the lines?

Could you post a picture for us? So we could see if it is truly positive?

Oh I hate those line OPKs> worse than HPTs!! I always used the digital ones but.... my RE said they aren't very accurate either. But I do think it is possible; I also have a friend who swears she ovulated right after her periods and she has kids as well. Good luck!

According to the OPK I did last month, I ovulated late, day 18 (I usually am 27-29 days), and that month I had a 26 day cycle! And my company actually makes the OPKs I used (I got them from the company)!

I used both regular OPK's and the digital ones and had 2 failed IUI's. I felt that with the reg. OPK, that even a faint line was my indication that I was going to ovulate soon. And with the digital OPK, I felt that when I finally got the smiley face, that I had already ovulated and it was too late.

Unfortunately ladies, these tests are a crapshoot! LOL So I'm moving on to u/s and b/w to more accurate!

Good Luck all!
