which ovulation kit is recommended for people with PCOS?
Hi,
I possibly have PCOS and most of the Kits say....might not be accurate for PCOS. I am wondering if there is anything that will work for peoplr with PCOS?

Unfortunately, I don't think any of the kits work for PCOS. I don't ovulate on my own, so I have never had a positive on any test.

(Lost 35 pounds!) Taking Metformin & Fertility Blend.

i have pcos and i just took my ound of clomid and have bought right at 100 dollars worth of these and you mean to tell me they dont work???

 Mrs. JordanMe 27 DH 24 (a blessing in itself)  TTC 2 1/2 yrs 2/16/07 diag. PCOS  2/16/07 started 500mg metformin 5/9/07 first AF in 8 months 5/14/07 50mg of clomid 5-9 6/5/07  6/15/07 AF this close togather wooo weee  6/20/07 start clomid again 50 mg 2/18/08 up to 1500mg of metformin another round of clomid.. 8/15/08 late for af took 4 home preg test  8/16/08 went to hospital confirmed wooo hooo!!! 8/23/08 m/c

I used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor and that seemed to work best for me. My RE suggested using it 3 mos. after starting Metformin. Good Luck!

I'm with Ann. Actually, my ob/gyn told me to give up on them. They won't work well with PCOS but more than that, they are tricked by the meds. Check out the thread on fertility monitors. I've had the best luck with the CM tracking and daily temping.
