I posted yesterday under a different thread but have more info this morning so thought I would try again.

Yesterday CD9 I took a OPK (Answer brand) due to CM that looked like ovulation time even though I normally don't start OPK until CD10. Well is was +. I started questioning myself because I didn't have the directions stupid me threw them away. I went to the store to pick up the same brand so I could look at the directions. Well when I get home I realized that I picked up the wrong brand (First Response). So I took another one (First response) and got a -. So this morning I had one ANSWER test left so I took with my first morning urine both tests. The ANSWER one was + but the first response one was -. So now what??????? I am suppose to take prometrium suppositories three days after a + reading and I don't know what to do. I do not want to start taking them if I haven't really ovulated.

Do you still have good quality cm? I know this is very intense... but it works..... Wash your hands and insert your middle finger into your vajayjay (Oprah) - if you can't reach your cervix, or it's really high (and soft, like your lips), you likely haven't ovulated yet. If it's low, you probably did. There's an acronym called SHOW - soft, high, open and wet - it's used to tell if your best fertile times. I've learned all this from reading a book from Teri Weschler - Taking charge of your fertility. Again, sorry if this is too intense - it's obviously not for everyone!

I was using a different method to observe cm. Every time I would go to the bathroom I would wipe from front to back (before using the bathroom and after every bowel movement). The best cm is when it feels wet or slick (when wiping) and if it looks like egg whites when you look at it. They really told us not to do internal observations because that can introduce a minor infection that can give you more discharge and be unreliable, but I know every system is different. They said that the cm usually starts out thick and white and gets clearer and stretchier/slimier the closer you get to ovulation. I hate ovulation predictors because the last batch I used (answer brand) was horrible, showing positive, negative, positive, positive, etc. And they are soo hard to read! I would suggest digital opks!

I use the answer opks every month I understand how to read them and everything but I dont understand why I am not able to get pregnant. I dont really have cm ever it dont seem. I think maybe I have gotten pregnant on them like once and thats it.The doctor told my dh that he has low sperm count but its not to low that I wouldnt get pregnant. It seems that for some reason everytime I do find out im pregnant it ends in miscarriage and not sure why. Can anyone help me please? I am really lost in this journey I have had 4 miscarriages and this last one I would still be pregnant with but it died at before 8weeks. Please help.

aaronsgirl - you should be able to go up to quick links and edit your profile to get rid of the BFP...

Have you seen a specialist??? They may be able to run some tests and find out what is going on...Good Luck!!!
