Question Cost of IUI in SC or any other state?

I live in SC and the cost of IUI here is $1200-2000 without medications. Is it everywhere like that? Seems rediculous! Maybe some other states have more reasonable prices? Please, let me know, if there is anything cheaper. Thank you in advance.

IUI itself is $400 in Charlotte, NC... once you add blood draws & ultrasounds, it's close to $2K.

About $500 here in VA without meds. Clomid was only $18 for the 5 pills.

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to these threads, and brand new to artificial insemination, even.

I'm assuming these prices you all are quoting is per cycle, right?

How in the world is there such a wide range in prices? Seems crazy to me!

Thanks!

Baseline ultrasound. $294
Monitoring ultrasound. $294
Sperm wash. $323
Insemination. $339

So the actual iui is only $339 but you have to do the sperm wash so you may as well assume the iui is $662. More than likely, even though it's an unmedicated cycle you'll need at least a baseline ultrasound and a monitoring ultrasound which adds $598. So your grand total is $1260.

I think the reason the prices vary so much is because some people are giving you prices for just the iui procedure (without sperm wash) or the price you have is probably including some ultrasounds.

I'm in GA by the way so I assume prices would be fairly similar to SC.
