My DH said the same..this thing sounds too gud 2 b true. But I was so desperate to get some help from any quarters that I went ahead and have scheduled a telephonic conference with them.In fact they've even sent me several mails with "proofs" of their plan being so genuine...like articles from wall street journal ,CBS market watch and an ABC news video(which does not open)..dunno who is right n who is wrong but I so very much want this thing to be genuine...

Talked to the AHCO guy

I finally had a long talk with the AHCO guy..does not look or sound convincing at all. They said they would negotiate the cost with my RE ,labs n technicians etc and try to bring down the cost by 50-60%.But I'm sure this is not a flea market that we r dealing with..so bargaining n negotiating will not help. The were not convincing at all. When asked what is the guarantee that we will definitely get the discounts(negotiated rate) they were vague in their answers...not convinced at all....I so wanted this thing to be gud..but seems like thrz a long fight ahead n we need 2 fight it alone...

Help with IVF

I am not sure where everyone is located. I was looking for IVF treatment for free one night and I found it. I found a program where other couple pays for for your medince and egg retrival, but they get half the eggs. We had to pay for the ICIS, which cost about 500. We got 10 eggs, they got 11. i Hyprostemed. The first frozen transfer didn't work. The second FET cost us $2500. Ther program is in NJ/ Eventhough our insurance does not cover IVF it covers my blood work, including HCG levels and prog and it is covering our ultrasounds.
Our second FET so far has been successful. I current HSG is 1100, and we are only about 2 weeks preg. maybe twins or more.

PLEASE don't think I'm judging you cause I'm not....but I would have such a hard time to give up 1/2 my eggs in order to not pay for IVF. Personally I would rather spend $20,000 and keep all my eggs rather than give them away and have my IVF free. I just couldn't imagine thinking....potentially my son or my daughter is out there with another family and I don't even know. That would just be too hard for me psychologically.

But as I said, that is just my humble opinion and I'm glad that you have your CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING A MOTHER

I think it is great that you found an IVF program that is free! And, it sounds like you are helping a couple that otherwise would not be able to conceive on their own. It is just like if you have 15 frozen embryos that you are not going to use and you donate them. As a matter of fact, Frozen embies are yours and your husband's biological children. I will look into it. Men donate their sperm all the time and women donate eggs and they don't hang on to "where is that egg/sperm now?". Good for you!

Red face ?free ivf

to rebeccacrys were is place you found ivf in exchange for extra eggs
have had 3 tries always a good start but end in couple of weeks.doc said initially he would freeze extra eggs for further procedures or they could be donated or destroyed would rather know helping someone than a total loss.
