Your not alone I have it too! It is hard to live with. I am apple shaped. I have tried for YEARS to lose weight. The Dr.s always push low carb diets. Not only because I am diabetic but because it helps hormones with the PCOS too. I don't lose weight on low carb diets. I have recently lost 30 pounds DURING IVF! ( this means I was not allowed to exercise) I know amazing right?
Well what I did was of course I don't eat a ton of carbs but I DO eat em. I just am doing the small portions thing, and the no snacking thing.
One day start documenting EVERYTHING you put in your mouth. BE honest! I was shocked when I saw what I was shoveling into my mouth. Using this method, I shrunk my portion sizes to an acceptable level, this happened slowly.
Its good that my favorite food is bacon. I eat it for breakfast and sometimes fordinner, usually in a low carb tortilla with eggs & cheese. ( while pregnant your supposed to use the nitrate free kind)
