Age at conception:28
Diagnoses: MTHFR, 1 tube, history of ectopics
Treatments you tried before IVF: none. had 1 tube, and dr. said to go straight to IVF
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success:3 fresh, got pregnant on 1st FET
Protocol (meds taken): Estrogen (4 patches every 3 days), Progesterone (IM 1 1/2 cc each day)
Complimentary treatments: none
How many days bedrest (if any):1 full day
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 1- 5day blast (we unthawed 7 and only 1 made it!)
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: slight twinges in my uterus and mucus
HPT before blood test?: yes-very faint line 9dp5dt
Digital:PREGANT 7dp6dt
What day you got your BFP:9dp5dt
Number of first beta: 58.6
Number of babies: 1
Advice for those going through FET now: My advice is to never give up. I had 3 perfect blasts transferred every time for 3 fresh cycles. This transfer, I had 1 blast left after thawing 7. And it stuck!! I personally decided to get off the boards and not tell my family this time so I didn't feel the stress of reporting to people. It helped me quite a bit. The most important, is trust in the Lord and his timing. He knows what He wants for you. Trust that. Regardless of if you like it. He will guide you.

FET story

Name: Tarascope (Tara)
Age at conception: 36 (embryos were 4 years old/frozen - frozen when I was 32)
Diagnoses: tubal damage, PCOS - husband had motility issue so we had to use ICSI
Treatments you tried before IVF: none
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success:
2 (1 fresh, 1 frozen - got pregnant w/fresh, but miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks - got pregnant with this latest FET)
Protocol (meds taken): Estrogen, Progesterone (IM 1 cc each day then went up to 2 1/2 cc per day, progesterone suppositories)
Complimentary treatments: none
How many days bedrest (if any):2 full days but got up to eat, shower
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 4 embryos that were 3-day - average to above-average quality (2 were 4-cell; 1 was 5-cell; and 1 6-cell)
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: slight twinges in my stomach area and nausea from about a week post-transfer; blue veins in breasts; frequent urination; extremely tired
HPT before blood test?: no!!!!
Number of first beta: 75.2
Number of babies: 1
Current pregnancy status: 11 weeks, 2 days
Advice for those going through FET now: My advice is to choose the best clinic/doctor with the highest success rate for FETs. I traveled out of state to accomplish this and am glad I did.
I agree with another poster also about having faith and trusting in the Lord. He knows what's right for you! Best of luck to everyone trying to conceive! FETs are successful a lot of the time!
Babydust to everyone!

Age at conception: 32
Diagnoses: unexplained
Treatments you tried before IVF: 2 cycles of IUI, first BFN, second interrupted for some reason (don't remember why)
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success: 1 fresh, BFP, lost due to chromosomal abnormality at 7th week, HR was low from the start, got pregnant on 1st FET (5 weeks now, so don't know if this is good pregnancy yet)
Protocol (meds taken): Estrogen (2 pills twice a day, stil taking), Progesterone (IM 1 each day, switched to endometrin 3 then 4 per day, added PIO back, progesterone was 4 at 5 weeks, today (5 weeks 2 days - 17))
Complimentary treatments: accupancture for frozen on the day of transfer
How many days bedrest (if any): none
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: was not told, just that they are fine
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: slight cramps
HPT before blood test?: yes-very faint line 6dp5dt
Digital: PREGNANT 7dp5dt
What day you got your BFP:9dp5dt
Number of first beta: 135
Number of babies: 1
Advice for those going through FET now: FET is much easier on the body and mind than fresh. I had slight hyperstimulation with fresh (slight by doctor's words, terrible for me). I hope this works. I am much more calm now without all the Follistim and other shots. Do not give up.

Question Fet - Bfp!!

Hi my name is Angela - I'm new to this board and looking for inspiration!

Name: Angela
Age at conception:34
Diagnoses: unexplained infertility
Treatments you tried before IVF: It would be easier to list what I haven't done... Clomid, 2 rounds of IUI, 1 round of IVF, 1 FET
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success: 1 Fresh
Protocol (meds taken): so many meds...don't know where to start.
Complimentary treatments (acupuncture, massage, etc.) I did do acpuncture this time - it was the only difference.
How many days bedrest (if any): 2
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 embryos transfered
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: tired sore boobs
HPT before blood test?: no too scared for neg. test
What day you got your BFP: 12/17/08
Number of first beta:
Number of babies:
Advice for those going through FET now: Good luck to everyone. My DH and I have been TTC for 5 years. This is the 1st time I have EVER been PG. It is such a mericle. I'm scared though, my HCG # on 12/17 was 17 and 12/19 it only went up to 32.

Has this happened to anyone and the baby made??

Age at conception: 27
Diagnoses: MFI
Treatments you tried before IVF: BBT, OPK, Clomid, ICSI
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success: 1 fresh ICSI, 1st FET successful
Protocol (meds taken): clomid, follistim, repronex, zithromax, BCP, lupron, estrace by mouth and suppositories, progesteron IM shots, assisted hatching meds, and of course prenatals, baby aspirin, folic acid and probably a few others
Complimentary treatments (acupuncture, massage, etc.): none
How many days bedrest (if any): day of transfer plus 2
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 3 excellent 5d blasts
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: terribly sore boobs! fatigue
HPT before blood test?: nope didn't wanna jinx it
What day you got your BFP: Sep06
Number of first beta: don't remember, it was pretty high though
Number of babies: 2 on first u/s, only 1 hb by 12 wks
Advice for those going through FET now: Just hang in there and get yourself a good support system. This is so hard to go through by yourself! And I agree with what a lot of women are saying Frozen is so much easier on your body then Fresh. I hyperstimed on the fresh and if I had to do that part over I don't think I could. So I'm very glad I've got 5 snowbabies!
