Lupron Question

Ok, I know this sounds a bit strange, but here goes!

DH gives me my shots, and when he does the left leg everything is fine, but when he does my right leg, it stings really bad and it feels like the needle is in there FOREVER ~ I'm wondering if anyone else had or has this feeling? I even bruise easier on that side that hurts???????
ANYONE?

Ya never did em in the leg always just below the belly button. Doesn't hurt at all. Maybe you can change locations.

That's funny you brought that up !! When DH does Lupron in my right leg it usually burns and I can feel every part of the needle AND I alway's bleed a little from the site. My left leg is smooth going ... No bruising or bleeding. I just wondered if maybe he doesnt get the right angle when going at it from the Right side ?? Who knows

I had one side that was more painful than the other but I also agree with the other ladies - go for the belly - I tried one in the leg and the belly is much, much better! I also did back of the arm and that was better than leg too!!!

Patch

I wonder if I should start a new thread with this question, but ~
Where are all the places you can put the patch... on the reading material it says only on belly, but I thought there were more places like the leg and the back of your arm???
I didn't know you could do the lupron in the belly????
I better call my RE's office, I also need to tell them that insurance wouldn't pay for all the patches, so I am praying that they get more donated.....

Thanks guys!!!!

You're doing the estrace patches, right? Here's a good site that talks about how to use them -- Estrace advanced consumer information | Drugs.com (Go down to 'Proper use of this medicine')
