1st Time FET - need your blessings
Hello All,
My FET has been scheduled for this cycle July '08. I am on Day3 of my cycle, and tomorrow I will start the medication. I will take only Progynova, 3 times a day. On Day 9 (i.e 21st of July), they will do Mock transfer. Doctor told me that she will do the ET between Day 14 to 18. Can we call this Natural FET? I have four 8-cell embryos of A grade frozen. Hope they should survive at thaw ! I will keep you updated ! Regards, Mary.

also share your postive thoughts about FET. How about the success rate compare to fresh IVFs?
Since this is going to be my first FET after 4 unsuccessful IVFs, I am thinking and hoping that this is my time, and my time is almost here to become a mom.

what is Progynova? is this an estrogen to assist in thickening the lining?

I hear FET has the same success rate as a fresh cycle. I wish you all the best and hope so much this will be your time. You have been through a lot. You deserve it to be your time!

Rates, from what I know from my RE it's a 30% chance of success w/a 15% chance of twins, if you are transfering two embies. I hope this is your time

IVF #1 BFP but m/c at 8 weeks IVF #2 BFN IVF#3 BFN FET May 1,2008 Beta#1 11dp5dt=78 Beta#2 13dp5dt=173 Beta#3 15dp5dt=397 1st U/S 5/23 at 5w6d 1 bean possible h/b flicker? 2nd U/S 5/30 measuring 6w3d (actually 6w6d) with a h/b of 121!!!! 3rd U/S 6/11 measuring 8w2d (actually 8w4d) with a h/b of 176 released to OB 7/2 sneaking in a trip to OB for heartbeat check(11w4d) for piece of mind and h/b is 156!!!!! 8/12 OB visit,h/b in 150's and uterus measuring 18 weeks 9/3 20 week fetal growth u/s EDD 1.18.09

Wishing you a great cycle. I had my ET on 7/11 of 2 embies. I only had 2 and both made the thaw. My RE would not give % on thaw rate but gave us a 40% chance of becoming pregnant. They also encouraged us to transfer only 1. The RE that did my transfer said we had a 1 in 3 chance of twins. I foud that number to be high but who knows. I can tell you it is much easier in terms of office visits.Samantha

I think the sucess rates depend on a number of things - age, diagnosis, grade of the embabies, and probably most importantly skill of the RE, embryologist, and lab. My RE gave me a 60% chance of getting pregnant. Hope everything works out perfectly Hugs Kimmy

Me - 37 (estrogen dominance, LPD, treated with Clomid [disaster] now better with aid from naturopath) DH - 38 (significant MFI) TTC since 2005 (Took year off after clomid to put health and marriage back together)  Reminder to self: I worked really hard to feel this bad! IVF#1 -- BFP, but beta low and stopped doubling after a week, u/s showed non-viable pregnancy. m/c naturally at 6w5d FET#1 -- Natural cycle (low meds) ET - 6/27 - Transferred 2 (6A, 4A) -HPT on 7/7 Beta #1 - 7/7 - (10dp3dt) #114!
