Linz I was so sorry to see that your cycle was cancelled. I'm glad you are rebounding and looking on the bright side though. I w as very excited to hear that they weren't aware of your lining issues before - if they can get on top of it it gives you a great chance for the coming cycle! I did ap also but only before the frozen cycle - 2 times a week before the transfer - also a couple of days before the transfer and right after the transfer, then one time week after for a while.

Deb GL with your transfer on Friday! I'm for those embies!

Ryan Hope you enjoy your birthday celebration with your dh. Your ds Christmas party and b'day party sound like fun. What are you doing for his birthday party?

we went and cut down our tree today in PA (stayed over night in NJ with my in-laws). It was such fun!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Lindsay - Yes, lining is my issue as well. I think I do not produce enough estrogen as well.
And I am conserned about the qwality, that is why I asked you if they did any other test, not only u/c.

They did u/c with me as well. When I suggested hystroskopy bewfore FET or lining test, I was told there was no need. So .

I was agressive with acupancture during this month, twice a week, to support my lining. I will tell you girls on Monday if accupancture helped or not, they are going to messure it.

Irena: do you know anything about acupancture on the day of transfer. I see you did it day before and after the transfer? Why not on the same day? Is it not safe on the same day before or after ? I am thinking to book the appointment as soon as I know the transfer day and I would like to hear your oppinion on that?

Thanks for all the acupuncture info gals! I need to make an appt and get a jump start on this.

Anel- My problem, and it sounds like your is more an issue with building the lining artificially. I never had a problem with my IUI's or even when I stimmed for my IVF. I did have the saline sonogram back in May before my IVF- but all was normal. That test along with teh hysterscopy more show if there are abnormailites in the uterus such as polyps or fibroids- not so much why the lining doesn't build correctly. Did you at least have a saline sonogram to make sure all was okay or have you ever had a laporoscopy? I hope whatever your protocol was this time around- that you have beautiful lining today!

Audra- sounds like you had an awesome weekend! I love the nostaligia of cutting down your Chrustmas tree! We do that every year too!

Hopeful- My ds b day is on the 18th, but we will have party here in town at the same place he does gymnastics (they have great parties), and then on the 17 we will take him to Knotts Berry Farm (it's an amusement park with lots rides and snoopy). My dh is a Deputy so we get in real cheap so we go on occation. DS loves it!!

Linz- Sounds like starting early can't hurt. I bet this is the one for you. Now that they found out what was going on with your lining. Sorry they didn't find it sooner.

Anel- I didn't do acupuncture with my transfer, but my nurse said they do it just before the transfer, and just after (if wanted of course). It can't hurt just relax you.

It wasn't an issue of safety but of timing. My app office is about 1hr away. I also wanted to go directly home after the transfer.

Thank you ....

Lindsay - No I never had a saline sanogram. I even never heard of it. I am afraid it might be something that only can be done in US. I will check with my RE, but as he never mentioned it.....
And I was never suggested laproscopy, but I had a hystroscopy x 2 to remove the scar tissue ( Asherman)....... Thanks a lot for your info there is something to think about and investigate.

Irena, Hopefulmama, Ryan - Thanks a lot for your info on acp timing....I really appreciate it

Deb Thinking about you and praying for your totsicles.

All was well at my us yesterday - the baby's heart looked great structurally and there were no other Down's markers. The bright spot was there but very faint and the Dr did not seem to be concerned. I feel much better about things now.
