hi there

Hi, Everone. I have been absent for a while. Sometimes it is tough to read the forum regularly. I feel like I obsess enough, and it make me obsess even more when i read the forum sometimes. Anyhoo...I had my transfer on tuesday. all three blasts thawed, and were graded "good". We put in all three, ad now the 2ww begins. I do not have any cramping, and was wondering if that was normal. I had mild OHSS when I did my 1st IVF so I had acramping and discomfort. SO, for thos eof you that have done this before....did you fell anything????? Thanks!!!

Well, I know I have been gone for a while...after the IVF failure and the delayed FET (body didn't cooperate) I needed to not concentrate so much on trying to have a baby.

Anyway, I guess it worked because I am finally pregnant after a Frozen Embryo transfer on December 1st. My first ultrasound for a "bean count" is on december 18th. What a great Christmas present, right? I will hopefully hear heartbeats on Christmas Eve, if not the monday after. I am so excited. the nurse even said that my beta was high enough that it could be twins, which I would love.

I am so excited.

For anyone having difficulty, DON'T give up. I almost did after my IVF failure, but so glad I didn't. It is completely worth it.

Good luck to everyone. I will do better about keeping in touch.

Amy

hi guys,
can I join?

I have my FET on Tuesday.

I am a nervous wreck! I was originally going to transfer a few days after my retrieval but I had OHSS. I was so excited that time, and confident it would work. But now, I am more scared than happy and my confidence went away

We have no reason to think it wont work, but its killing me that there is nothing you can do to improve your chances.

Anyway, hello.

I am so dreading the 2ww. Much, much more than last time.

I've been out of town for a few days - We went up to San Francisco for our last kids-free vacation. It was fun, looking at all the christmas decorations, going out to eat, and going to the California Academy of Science, but the best thing is I got a call that I passed my three-hr GTT! I am astonished but thrilled! I just have so many risk factors for diabetes, that I was 95% sure I'd have it.

Home now and paying in belly pain for all the walking around I did in SF ...

Deb, thinking of you.

alpc, I didn't feel much of anything after my FET.

Deb Awesome news!! When do you test?

bberg! I know it's tough to feel positive when a frozen transfer looks like a second best choice. The only thing I can say is that many of us had failed fresh transfers and successful frozen transfers. Stay positive and good luck! We'll be here to support you.

Irena Glad you had a good trip!! San Francisco sounds like fun! I haven't been there at Christmas time (I was there briefly some years ago). We are going to New York City to take in the decorations etc next weekend. I'm so glad your glucose test came back good !

I don't know if it's too late to get in with someone, but I did accupuncture with my FET and totally swear by it. I'm not a huge believer but I was much calmer, I don't know what it did to the fertility portion or if just me being calmer made the difference, but I got pregnant. Usually for fertility like ours they do an appointment before your procedure and one after.

Good luck and think positive.
