Ryan Wow that's great that he only gets up once - I haven't been that lucky yet. Maybe this time

Robin Great number for the lining - right in range. Friday's coming up so soon ! GL!!

Leo GL with your us on Friday!

memsimpson! The number of embryos transferred is a tough decision. Did they test you for the mthfr gene (I see you were planning to test for this in your sig).

AFM the baby is breech (again!) He/she was breech but at the 32 w us they told me that he/she turned but at last week's appt he/ she turned back to the breech position. I was wondering why my ribs hurt so much - it's the baby's head pressing under them!

memsimpson - so sorry to hear about your MC's. I just had one in Dec after IVF so I know how hard it is. Good luck on your upcoming FET.

ryan, hopefulmama - thanks for your best wishes. We're planning to transfer 2. Was hoping for 3 but RE advises against it. We have 4 in total so hoping that the first 2 thaw successfully.

Audra- Have you had a c/s before?? I can't imagine a head in my ribs. They feet where bad enough . You are getting so close. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl!! My luck ran out with Jake and his sleep. He was up every two hours last night to nurse or should I say snack!! O-well what can you do right. Maybe he is growing and needed a little extra...I can dream right .

memsimpson- Welcome! So sorry to hear about your m/c's. I hope that this is the one that sticks for you. Do you have a transfer date yet? I transfered 3 blasts (wanted to do 4, RE said no way!), and ended up with one beautiful baby boy. I think I got lucky on that one for sure.

My status
Started BCPs this week.
Start lupron in 2 weeks.

I also have 3 frosties and will have my 1st FET soon. I had a failed fresh cycle in Dec. My RE suggested putting all 3 in, because doing another cycle with only 1 embryo later has a fairly low success rate. We only put in 2 in Dec, but frozen has slightly lower success rate, so she suggested all 3. I was told there is only a 1-5% chance of triplets, hope that's true!

Robin The stress of these decisions can be awful. But no matter what you do there is always doubt - if you put in 3 you'd prob worry if that is too many (I know I would). I put in 2 for this pregnancy and both initially took though I mc'd one. Irena transferred 2 and has twin boys! 2 is plenty - don't worry (Ok easier said than done...)

Ryan Sorry that Jake was up so much last night. I hate walking around in the mental fog a night like that causes. that tonight will be better for both of you. No, I've never had a c section. Sure hope this isn't a first for me. The head in the ribs is not fun - I had no idea what is was until the doc showed me. I actually have had issues with my liver and have had my gall bladder removed and I'm wondering if that's making the discomfort worse (like if the baby is rubbing against scar tissue). Other than that I'm thoroughly enjoying my pregnancy. I just feel so thankful.

I wouldn't worry about 2, if I had 4 left, I would also do 2 and 2, my RE just advised against 2 and then 1, since lower success rates with just one.

Leo Just reread my last post and realize how it sounded - just meant that whatever I decided along the road I worried about whether I should have done the other thing.

Well, I didn't POAS last time and I got the BFP, so I think I'm going to stick with that pattern! Also, obviously hoping for a better end result this time! Plus my DH is really against doing it.

Congrats Robin - sounds like it went really well! I think you should do whatever feels best for you. (What our dhs don't know won't hurt them LOL) I really do think as much as they love and support us, they can never truly understand it as much as other women can.

AFM - went in today for U/S and E2. I have a follicle 17x17, but my lining is only 6.3 My E2 was 280, then nurse said that usually when ovulation is imminent, your E2 is 300-400, so they are willing to let me come back in on Monday and see if there is any improvement in the lining, but they told me it is doubtful we can go ahead with our "natural" FET cycle this month, but there is hope! I am taking a baby aspirin daily, was doing acupuncture up until 2 weeks ago. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do besides that to make a good lining?
