I'm still here. Thanks for the welcome, Ryan. Your son is a cutie and I can imagine that the idea of going back to work is hard. What do you do? Hopefully you can find a provider that is nearby. A few girls that I work with go and visit their kids at lunch because they miss them so much.

We just had a baby shower at work for a co-worker having a girl at the beginning of July. SO MANY cute little outfits. We cooed for hours! But it is hard when everyone is talking about their kids and their labors, etc. when you're sitting there thinking that all you want is one. You just want to experience it so much and people who haven't had issues getting pregnant just really don't get it.

I'm also doing acupuncture now twice a week. I've been twice now and I still don't really feel anything during it except the initial pin insertion, so I don't know if I'm supposed to be feeling more than that. But it's nice to lie down with the plinky-plunky music and just relax.

Hope you're all doing good, and Terri, we haven't really met but good luck to you!!

Hi gang, sorry I've been MIA, but I'm trying to keep balance in my life and not so obsessed. I do feel bad though, because I thought I had written in after transfer.

First off, Julianne, welcome and thanks for the good thoughts. An FET is a lot easier on your body, but still a rollercoster, good luck! Hope you get off the BCP's soon!

So my transfer went pretty well. We had 95% cell survival, and he(?) started reexpanding just before transfer. The only glitch, is that he got stuck in the pipette after tranfer, and we had redo the transfer. He sure has been a stubborn one from the get go! Maybe he's just a little fighter! So now the dreaded 2ww is on.

On a fun/exciting note, I became a mommy on Mon night. I finally broke down and got a little ity-bity tiny kitty!!! He weighs 1.6 lbs and he is too small to even do stairs yet. He is a tuxedo kitty we are calling Maxwell. I am in love. He hasn't left my side since Mon and no one in the house is doing much sleeping yet. I couldn't be happier (well, I guess if I had a and a new kitty I could be happier. ) So the wait is on until Sat, but I have been really distracted. I think I will PAOS, but not until friday night or Sat am. We have some parties to go to on Sat and don't want to get the call at a party!!

Hope everyone is doing well. Terri

I am a bit 'scared but after reading about all of you,i feel much more secure.
thank you for reading

Welcome di.ma. So very sorry for the loss of your babies. I hope this upcoming fet will be the one that sticks for you. When are you doing your transfer?

How is everyone else doing? I am doing good. Jake sleeps through the night, and mommy loves that! I will be going back to work in July so I am working on trying to get him to take a bottle, but he wants his milk straight from the tap. He throws a fit if anyone even tries attempting a bottle feeding. I will worry if he goes to daycare like this. He will only be there 8 hours a week, but I don't want him to cry for me cause he's hungry. I almost quit my job over it, but decided to try working it out. If anyone has any suggestions please help!!

first FET

Hello everyone,
I will be doing my first FET July ninth after 3 fresh cycles. I am nervous about it knowing that the success rate is lower. I have 8 snow babies right now and I am hoping to transfer 3. The nurse said probably one or two but based on my history I am going to push for 3. Our twins came from one egg so we have only had one stick out of the three tries, third try we only transfered one.

I'm so sorry Terri. It's just not fair. The fact that any of us have to go through this isn't fair. But when you do it, and you go through so much and still don't get success, it's just devastating, emotionally and financially.

Please keep us posted on the DE progress and I will continue to pray for you and all of us.

Hi everyone!! It's been so long since I've posted on this thread...I hope you still remember me! After my mc I took a break from the forums for a while!

So much has gone on since I left back in Nov..Congrats to all the new mommies, Audra, Irena, Megan, Ryan . Am I missing anyone?

I've been catching up here and there...Still trying to keep up with everyone..I see there's a lot of new people as well! It's great that this thread has survived for so long! You girls are such a great support system and I'm still so thankful for all of you!

Linz, I haven't seen you for a while on here...I think you were taking a break as well?! how r things?

tko- I'm so sorry about your neg. How have you been?

AFM, I've had a lot going on. Since my mc I've had two more fet's one , the other another ectopic Luckily this time the methotrexate shot worked and I didn't have to have another surgery. BUT...after the ectopic I was out of snowbabies and would have to do another IVF, so I decided I would change clinics (to Cornell) and in the meantime, take a well deserved break for a few months...no more needles, no more dr appts, just some me time..after the shot, I started dieting, excersiing more, going out with friends, drank freely... I was having a family reunion so dh and I were painting, lifting furniture, etc. They say with the methx shot you can get your period 4-6 weeks later, so I thought nothing of the fact that I was now coming up on my 6th week with no ! Until that little bout of nauseousness that made me say lets take a test just in case...Low and behold !! Somehow through all of that this little bugger held on and I have officially conceived naturally!! I'm still really concerned as I had the mthx shot, but my dr put me on a mega dose of folic acid and so far my little bean has been growing appropriately and we got a 156 hb on mon. at 8w1d. We're cautiously optomistic of course.

I wanted to thank everyone for all the support ive gotten through this roller coaster ride and I want all you ladies to know I still think about you and you're all in my prayers...Sorry if this is written confusing or scattered, I've been meaning to write for the longest time and now I'm trying to get all my thoughts down before running back to work!

OMG Booch!!! What a wonderful suprize!!! I have to say that would be such a shocker!! Congrats to you. I am so happy for you. I am trying to talk my dh into getting snipped just in case that would happen to us. Two kids is enough for me, and I don't need any wonderful suprizes hehe. Knowing my luck it would happen. Can't wait to hear more in the future. Are you gonna find out the sex??
