Linz- Sounds like you are doing well. I really don't think you have anything to worry about planning that baby shower. Soon someone will be planning yours! I didn't really have any symptoms on the PIO. I started feeling symptoms around day 4 or 5 after transfer Cramps, sore bbs, tired, emotional. I can't wait till the 8th I just know it's gonna be good news. I am feeling pretty good these days. M/s is over . I still am a little tired. I went shopping with my mom this weekend. I sat down in a store to take a rest and FELL ASLEEP!!! I was so embarassed. Growing babies is hard work I guess. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow so I feel some pressure of miscarriage is over. Now I can relax and enjoy.

Linz712~ I said a prayer for you!
Planning a baby shower would be TOUGH WOW!

Glad to hear about your cabinets, I would love to have some fresh baked cookies and milk at your house!
So you are staying much stronger than I did, I did POAS, got no result the first time, faint positve the second time, and last night (yes, after the beta, a +)!
We'll see the next beta number , but I pray this is for you Linz, a friend of mine Jen (she's on this site somewhere), she says when you get a cold (even if it's small) it's a good sign, and I had a small cough with Avery, and this time too..... You said you weren't feeling 100% and I think it's a good sign. I haven't had hard boobies this time??? Did with Avery, but I don't know if Breastfeeding changes that????

PRAYERS TO YOU!

Ryan I can't believe you fell asleep! You had me ROFL!That is too funny! I'm excited that you're almost at 12 weeks- what a relief! Have you bought anything for the baby yet? WIll you find out what you're having or be surprised?

I'm just at that complete obsessing stage- you know?!?!? I may have to start a ticker to count down the days!!!!Dh just told me we're going to dinner & a movie tonight- now I just need to occupy the next 5 hours- ahhh!!!! And I have like zero work to do today! Dh is going to the pool with his cousin- I want to go- but my RE rec. not swimming for the 2ww (just for my piece of mind more than anything) and I didn't think it was the best idea to sit out in the 95degree weather- which is feeling like 105 due to humidity. Thought my babies would like the couch and air conditioning better!

Linz- You are so strong. If I had a stick in the house I would probably pee on it right now for funnsies I didn't know it was a bad idea to swim during 2ww. I did it oops. Ya let those babies stay cool in the AC. I hate hot weather. Where do you live? I live just north of Santa Barbara right on the coast so I really don't have to deal with extream weather conditions. It's usually in the 70-80 all the time. I think I will stay. I havn't bought anything for baby yet. I am waiting to find out what I am having (in Sept.) Then if it's a girl I will go crazy and buy out the store. If it's a boy I don't really need to buy much cause I saved everything from my son. Enjoy your date tonight and stay strong!

I live in central Illinois- yes goodol midwest-its nice one day, 95 and humid as all get out the next- it may snow next week- who knows! LOL- i don't think its necessarily bad to swim- but they said I may just not want to- so if I didn't work I wasn't second guessing myself- ya know. I would love to go to Cali sometime- we're hoping our annual convention is there next year- I've never been that far west . A girl would be fun especially if you have a boy already- then again it would be fun for your little boy to get to big a big brother to his little brother!!. Heck as long as its a healthly baby I know you'll be happy!
I may poas this afternoon- maybe- Dh might kill me- then again we're going to target tonight too- how fun would it be if its positive to take him down a baby isle......hmmmmm..........

Well girls I caved, and it was negative. But thats okay-
1. I'm only 10 days out
2. Its the middle of the day, not first morning urine
3. My beta isn't actually even until Friday
4. Frozen Embryos are notorious late implanters

So I'm totally cool with it. I won't POAS again-I want to keep that hope and positive outlook that I still have. I knew that it was very early and a shot in the dark at this time of day. So we'll just have to see what happens Friday!

Ya Linz there is a reason beta's are two weeks long. I don't think it's to torture us I was looking at your sig to see if you had 3 or 5 day embies transfered and noticed you have 27 snowbabies waiting. WOW you go girl!! Keep your chin up it's still early!

Yeah- it was one the one benefit of overstimming and OHSS-thats the other reason for my positive outlook- I know its not my only shot. The RE said- it may not work the first time- but if we don't get one baby- it would be cruel and unusual- I hope he's right!
It was a 3 day transfer.

Hey that is a great number!!!! It's so hard not to worry- but try!

The PIO- thats a tough call. Do you have someone close to you that could do them? Or I know some gals have done their own- I don't think I could do that- but you never know!

I know, I know, sooo early still! It'll be fine! No stress, no worry!

Wow lots of activity today!!!

Linz With the 3 day transfer it was definitely way early so (as you know) hang in there. If I were going to poas early (and you can see I was weak I would do it wed or thurs (2 days early at the most) with an early response test. On the other hand you seem to have my dh's approach - keep positive and wait for the bw which is awesome if you can do it. It's great that you had your dh and fil to work on your kitchen. Nice that you like to bake - your future children will love that. I'm a disaster in the kitchen myself.

Dre The beta number is great! It is supposed to double in 2 days and you retested at 3 days so it more than doubled which is great! As far as PIO goes - I'm assuming you don't know a nurse or anything (I have one who is a neighbor who helped us). If not you might be able to go to a walk-in medical clinic (many are 24 hours) but I would check to see if you need a prescription. My RE said that worse case scenario the walk-in clinics usually will do them. As your RE too - they may have a solution for you. Do you need to do the shot at night? My RE will do it during the day. I have to pay my co-pay but in a pinch it would work.
Taking the hpt after the bw was smart - since it showed up you knew your numbers were increasing. I'm going to take an hpt tomorrow and the next day too just to be sure my numbers are still high enough to show up. OK yes, I'm totally type A

Ryan Wow - falling asleep sitting up - a classic sign of pregnancy LOL. In a store too - that's funny. Isn't it exciting to have symptoms?! You live N of SB? We may move to San Diego. It's so beautiful! we visited SB a couple of years ago and loved it. Now if I could just transplant my entire family - a large Long Island/ New Jersey clan!!

Ryan, I know a woman whose husband went away while she was doing pio and she did it herself. It's probably not as bad as you think, but I could understand not wanting to do it! Maybe if you don't want to ask anyone, you can call your clinic (if they're not too far) and ask if they could do it for you!

Lindsay - I think it's too early anyway, especially with a 3dt! Keep that positive attitude!
My transfer actually isn't until the 12th (you mentioned before about 8/08.)
