Yeah, I don't want to be the CRAZY wife, so I guess I need to be creative. I may just tell my mom. It's so strange we told her we were doing the transfer, and she hasn't asked me since the transfer the results, do you think she's trying to be respectful, or do you think she's being mean, we have a really strange kind of relationship???? I could ask her, she gives my grandma shots for her diabetes?

I am praying for you Linz, belive me , didn't you put 3 in??? I have to check your signature?
come on embies, stick and join the world with a healthy pregnacy in 9 months....

Dre My Mom was hesitant to ask me too b/c she knows how stressful it is and she doesn't want to make it worse. Plus she knows that she and my sis would be the first to know.

Can your dh calculate my due date? I'm very confused too but think it is mid April.

Linz Can't wait till Friday for you.

Lua I'm so sorry - the timing thing just makes it more stressful. It was an issue for us since we might move and had to travel to CA a few times. Just relax and hopefully af will show herself and you can work it out. My RE will sometimes let another doc do bw if they know the place. Then you'd just have to be around for the transfer. Just wait for af and try to see if you can work it out. I know it's easier said than done. Hang in there.

I'm feaking out you guys. I just don't think it worked. My sore bb's are not really that sore anymore- no more pinching or cramping like I had a few days ago. I should have never taken that hpt- what was I thinking?! Sorry-like I said I'm just feeling really emotional and freaking out today. I know I have other embies to transfer- but I really wanted these ones to stick- yes- all of them- I'm nuts! I know you all know how I feel! If it doesn't work- I know we'll do it again- but I know they'll make me wait til the end of September- that is so far away! I'm struggling today- and thinking about this stupid baby shower I have to plan for my immature SIL, her DH & the beautiful twin babies they're having is killing me. I'm thinking about all this stuff way too much! I can't help it! Sorry- I just needed to get it out! Lord, please just let at least one stick- please give me a baby!

Sorry- I had to edit to add that my DH just called to let me know that another one of the ladies he teaches with is preg again- she was on the pill and just forgot to take it a few times- she guesses she's okay with it, but is going to be mad if its another girl. So this will be her third child in 4 years- she can hardly keep her stuff together with two- and now another! I just don't understand why it is so hard for those of us who want nothing more than a child- and so easy for those who don't truly appreciate it!

Lua- I'm so sorry you're struggling today- so am I. I'll pray that AF shows tomorrow and you are no longer delayed. I know what that feels like- and it just plain sucks! Will your bosses delay just one more month, or at least help work around your FET schedule? I heard someone on another forum say they just mentioned "ovaries" and "their cycle" around their boses and they caved!

Linz ~ I was freaking out about this time and crying and sad, so perhaps this is a good sign, I PM'ed Kimmy and Christine (another forum friend), and needed the support to get through it. I'm sorry that you are sad, did you cry????? Crying may be a good sign, and my boobies don't hurt AT ALL?

Hopefulmama ~ were your embies 3 or 5 day blasts?

Lua ~ Is your work stressful? Do you think it's adding to your inablity to start? I believe our bodies try and communicate with us?

Dre – that’s funny an embie counselor! Well I am going to have to think of something to do after all my little ones go to school, because I don’t see myself ever going back to teaching. I was actually thinking being an ultrasound tech would be really cool! But I don’t have to worry about that for quite a while. Your DH is correct you are 4w3d. From the transfer date you count back the 5 days to the equivalent of the retrieval (ovulation) date and retrieval/ovulation is the 2 week mark. Pregnancy is counted from LMP or in our case 2 wks before retrieval/ovulation.

Booch – Hooray for a great lining!

Audra – Hooray for a darker line!! I am in Monmouth County – Marlboro township. You are probably right about the b/f, I just stopped in April after 17 mos. BTW if your embabies were 5 day blasts – you are 3w6d and your due date is 4/15/09, for 6 day blasts you are 4w0d and EDD is 4/14/09 – That is according to an online IVF calculator.

Megan – Glad things are moving along for you.

Lua – I am so sorry AF is being difficult. Maybe an AF dance will get her started.

Lindsay – Lots of prayers and hugs sent your way. And that weepy emotional breakdown happened to me before every BFP - so I think it’s a good sign for you.

Hugs
Kimmy

This may be a hard question, but have you thought about getting a less stressful job while you are TTC?

Stress can add to your infertility?

Ahhhhh!!!!!

Lua and I had been in the same "Missing-AF" boat!

Mine finally came 7/29!

So from 5/11 - 7/29 with Prometrium at the end of June!

I did all of the relaxing and tempting fate (wearing new white shorts & hanging out at the beach for a week).

Nothing seemed to help!

I am now on my FET calendar!

I had a huge MAJORILY embarrassing question - the dr's office has not called yet!

I need to PM someone who has gone through my similar protocol!

It is about "cervical mucus".

Megan

Linz I think all the crying is a great sign of pregnancy. I was convinced the day before I tested that it hadn't worked (analyzing everything etc. and crying) BTW my RE had said that if I got a neg I could go right into another frozen cycle (even though I had to sit out a month after my failed fresh cycle) - they won't try again sooner at your RE? I hope it doesn't upset you that I asked b/c I'm really it won't matter and you'll have a beautiful baby or babies on the way. Your post had me crying I know what you mean about people having babies who don't appreciate them. Right after my son died I was in the car listening to the radio and heard about a baby boy who was deliberately killed by his parents and I lost it crying and just so angry at God. Life is wonderful but it can seem so unfair at times.

Dre I had 2 5 day blasts transferred. Thanks to you and Kimmy for calculating it for me.

Kimmy Wow 17 months - that's great. I may not be able to bf b/c I have to take so many meds for my high blood pressure. I'm concerned that even if they say it's OK if it comes out in the milk I can't think that would be good.

Lua I'm shows herself soon for you.

Megan Did you find someone to ask? Did the Dr's office call back? Hope you have an answer either way.

I have had the afternoon off because of the tropical storm here in Houston, so I’m using the time to get aquainted with and/or caught up with all the ladies on this thread. I’m so grateful to have you girls as support through this cycle. This site has been such a blessing to me in the last year and has really helped me through two failed IUIs and my first fresh cycle.

Megan – Congratulations on finally being on a calendar! It has always seemed so ironic to me to be wanting AF to show up after all of this time of fearing her arrival and what it means. I’m glad she came for you. Maybe it was the white shorts. I think you and I will be pretty close. I will be transferring on the 20th if all goes well. I wouldn’t worry about posting the CM question. They pop up all the time and I think we’re all well enough acquainted with our CM to not mind discussing someone else’s.

Lua – I have a stressful job too, but have been blessed to be able to cut back on my hours significantly while going through all of this. I can’t imagine having to travel during IF treatments. I hope you can find a way to alleviate some of the stress. Here is a little AF dance for you:

Kimmy – I am just still so happy for your pregnancy. Are you feeling any better about it being one rather than twins? I so know how you felt grieving the other embie. I grieved ours so much after the BFN and even grieved the one that didn’t make it to freeze.

Linz – I’m so sorry you are having such a hard time. The waiting is brutal. Absolutely brutal. I think it’s hard either way – POAS or not. I said a prayer that you are pregnant. I so hope this cycle works out for you. I’m actually planning a baby shower too! A couple just joined our Sunday School class. They are missionaries from Spain and are stateside now because she has cancer and is pregnant. She doesn’t have any friends or family here and I thought this baby deserved some celebrating because the entire pregnancy has been focused on the cancer.

Dre – My mom has been weird too. She knows how emotional I am about the whole process and so doesn’t ask many questions or offer much support. I hope you get the shots figured out. I don’t know if I could do the PIO shots myself either.

Audra – Ohhhhh how exciting. I can’t wait to hear your big beta number!

Booch – Congrats on being almost to transfer! What a great lining!

Ryan – How nice to be almost through with the first 12 weeks. Whew!

Mimi – I’m so very sorry for your news.

Jes (hoping) – How are you holding up in the wait? Your numbers looked good.

Irena – I’m glad you had a good trip and that you have your MS under control.

Jnails – I’m so sorry about your BFN, but glad you have made it over here. Any word on the timing of this cycle?

Latlasan – We are pretty close in cycle. You are just one week after me!

Jill – Another late August girl. My there are a lot of us. How cool!

I keep upping my dose of estrogen until transfer. I finish with the Lupron on the 15th and absolutely can’t wait. Did you know it is also used as a chemo drug? I told DH that just to get a little more sympathy. I have been pretty dreadful to him the last few days. I haven’t thrown anything, but have come close. My hair is still falling out and none of my pants fit. I haven’t heard anyone else complain about bloating prepping for an FET. I wonder why I am getting so big.

I hope everyone else is doing wonderfully.
