Deb- Glad to see some fresh blood around! I read your sig, and am so sorry you have had such bad luck in the past. I pray that this Christmas you will get the baby you deserve

Linz- Hey! Sounds like Blue is keeping you busy, and preparing you for that baby in your future! Fun fun fun. Sounds like the acupuncture is worth every penny. I hear it really makes a difference. My RE's office has one on staff. Thats how much they believe in the process. My ds will be going as a "scarey skeleton" to do his candy collecting. We go to a church in our town for the evening. It's safe, and lots of fun. I will be going as a bee. It covers the enormous belly I have growing

Megan- Sorry to hear about the loss of one of your triplets. Glad to hear the twins are doing well. Stay relaxed and rest for those little babies in there.

I really want to clean my house, but just the thought of getting up right now to do it makes me tired. My dh painted the baby's room this weekend so now I can start the decorating process. Wish I had the energy now! HEHE.

Hi everyone!

It has been a while. This past month I had to take a step away from everything...forums, baby websites, etc. The husband and I thought it would be a good idea to take the month off and breathe a little.

Well, I am back up and running. I started AF today, and will go for blood work and a sono tomorrow. I only have two embies left, and there is a good possibility I may have to go through the whole IVF cycle again.

Oh! I was tested for all the antibody resistances (13 viles of blood later...a vampire's appetizer) and my husband was tested for any gene malformations. I am assuming I will find out more tomorrow. They did all this since, clinically, I am on my third miscarriage. Hopefully, we will get an answer.

I am glad to see everyone is doing well! Lots of healthy babies! One of these days I will get there with everyone else.

xo Kim

Irena Have a great trip to your sister's. Hope you have a fun and relaxing time.

Linz I know - ap is sooo relaxing! Are you dressing your dog? There are so many adorable doggy costumes. My boys are going as Commander REx and Commander Cody - they are Clone Troopers from Star Wars The Clone Wars Movie. My street is THE Halloween street where we live and much of my family is coming over. Very exciting!!!

Megan I'm glad the twins are doing OK. Hope you are off bedrest soon!

Deb Wow you have been through so much! I'm so sorry for your losses. Do they have an idea why you are mc ing? I'm this cycle is successful for you.

Ryan Do you have the nursery comforter etc picked out?How are you decorating the room? The skeleton costume sounds cute.

Nivek Glad your transfer is so soon. GL!

Kim I hope you get some answers tomorrow. Let us know what they say if you feel comfortable.

Nothing new here. Have a great evening everyone!!

Deb!

I'm glad to see everyone is coming back to the boards. It was getting sparse around here.

So these passed few days have been kind of trying for me. Sat. night when DH came back with the hpt, I decided to test. I wanted to know I wasn't pregnant for sure and move on with the emotional part of it. So I took the test and it was neg. I told dh about it and started to have a pity party. In the middle of it, I looked down and saw a very faint line popping up. It was so faint that I stooped to the lowest of the lows for poas'ers! I had my husband poas so I could make sure there was a difference !
But what I'm concerned about is the fact that it was so faint at 9dpt. I took one on Sunday and one today, and neither one got any darker. This morning I went for my beta and she said my number was 46. She said my progesterone and estrogen levels were good. She seemed happy with the numbers, but I don't know. My biggest fear is that it may be a chemical or eptopic. I started having a discomfort/pain on the left side by my ovaries last night, which makes me even more nervous. I go back on Wed. for beta #2, but I feel so anxious that I won't know where it implanted for like another two weeks. Does anybody have any thoughts on this? I'd appreciate it.

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for the warm welcome back! It is so awesome to be able to talk to people going through the same process.

The Dr's cannot explain why so many miscarriages (which is soooo hard to understand) we have been through chromosome testing and all is perfect. And all of the other tests are normal as well....Ugh, Well, I am feeling very excited to be back in the game but with much reservation as well. The Dr. told me today that the embryo's are great so that gave me hope.

I pray so much that all of us get the wonderful BFP's that we all deserve. I am so glad to have buddies to go through the proces with !

Booch23, I am so happy for you I hope those Beta;s keep rising and rising. The pain you are feeling may be attributed to the embie grabbing on and settling in. You could have had a late implanter and that would explain the neg than the BFP test the next day because more HCG is your system.

Hi everyone, I'm normally on the Donor Egg board, but I need to post here for awhile, I think.

I have no idea what I'm facing with this FET, aside from the most general idea of thawing the embryos (we have five of them right now), and probably a couple weeks on the medications.

I would love to know anything you can tell me -- I'm still waiting to hear back from our coordinator to get this thing started.

Working with the donor the first time, I spent a month on BCPs, then about another month on other things. We knew that between fertilization day and transfer would be either 3 or 5.

But...

When all of you did it:

1. How many eggs did you have (already frozen) to work with? How many did they attempt to thaw at a time? How many of them "thawed successfully"?

2. How long were you on your meds before the attempted transfer, and what meds were they?

Thanks so much. While I feel like a pro at IVF now, I feel blind about FETs.

Deb and Lia! This is a fun group- wishing you both lots of for your FET cycles!

Joanne- congrats on the !!!! I know you're still cautious- we'll be praying for some big numbers tomorrow!

Audra- your kids cosutumes sound so cute! Halloween is so much fun- love seeing all the kids- good times!
Blue has a pumpkin costume my sil gave me- but its doubtful he'll keep it on- I'll try though darn it! Maybe just long enough for a pic!

Ryan- sounds like your halloween night will be be fun too! There are so many neat activities anymore- especially for the little ones- sometimes those controlled indoor nights are better than the door to door deal! How fun you're dressing up- not sure what or if I will dress up as!

Kimi- it's so good to hear from you! We all understand- taking a month off from all the talk, etc. is sometimes a very goo dthing. We missed you though- glad to have you back! You're on your way again- did you get the results from your bloodwork back? ANd don't you discredit those 2 embies you have left- they just may be the strogest ones of teh bunch- twins your way maybe?!

Not much else new here- had acupuntcure again tonight- and it was awesome again! Go back next Thursday I've been using opk's this cycle since I'm not on bcp's-today is CD 16 and still no O- so not sure if its going to happen- oh well- was worth a month of pills! We'll see on Monday for sure!

to everyone!

I'm kind of a bad example of this- since I had OHSS and they froze all my embies within 24 hours. Anyway though- I had 32 embies- on my 1st FET they had to thaw 5 to get 3 goo dones to transfer. On my 2nd FET- they thawed 3 and they all survived.

2. How long were you on your meds before the attempted transfer, and what meds were they?
First 2 cycles I was on BCP's for not quite a month- lupron for abour 25 days, vivelle estrogen patches for about 2 or so weeks before transfer, and started PIO the day before transfer. After transfer- continued teh estrogen and PIO.

Thanks so much. While I feel like a pro at IVF now, I feel blind about FETs.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask any of us! Lots of knowledge on this board!

imagiccat- Welcome to the group! Just to answer a couple of your questions...

My IVF gave me 13 fertilized eggs. We transfered two with no sucess. We froze 4 and thawed all for the FET. All embies thawed well, and we transfered 3. I am preggo with one little miricle now. The entire process was about 5-6 weeks, and a lot easier thann the whlole IVF thats for sure!!

Good luck to you.
