Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I don't have a lot of time, but wanted to share some coupon info with everyone. If you are thinking of registering at Babies R Us, go sign up for the rewards program first. We signed up last weekend when we got my pillow and this week we received a coupon for a 5 dollar gift card when you register. So it came at the right time for us, since we were planning on going today to reigster.

Congrats Martha on 3 boys and Happy birthday Northeast girl to your DD.

Maybe-the only name we have picked out is Cain. My DH has always liked that name. Otherwise, we are undecided, but have a few ideas. That will be fun for you to go to NY for your shower! Is that where you are from?

Holding- we just registered at BRU today too, and got the rewards card. They also told us that w/the card you get one pack of diapers for every 9 that you purchase.

Mery-Glad your OB appt went well...10 lbs is great! Sorry about your rings. That makes me a little scared b/c my wedding band is an eternity band with diamonds all the way around, so if it gets stuck, I'm in trouble. Maybe I'll just wear my engagement ring.

Hopeful-sorry about your co-worker...what is up with these people? Maybe it is just jealousy of all the attention? The way I see it is, everyone has their day and we should be happy for others and not rain on their parade. I guess not everyone sees it that way!

Well, registering was so fun today...we had already done a little online, but I felt good, so we went this morning. I still feel a little clueless and probably missed some things, but it'll do! My shower is at my house on Sept. 5, since we don't know if I will be on bedrest at that point or not. My sis sent me one of the invitations the other day...so exciting! Have a great weekend!

martha - that was smart to register now...i bet it was getting 3 of everything!! how cool! how exciting...isn't it awesome that we are getting the showers? i am so excited for mine!!

afm - OK...i had to go the jewelers and cut my rings off and the best part is that since i have engraving on all sides of my engagement ring and wedding ring, to fix it all and resize is going to cost $600!! well, i don't need it for awhile....but still!!! i hate not wearing my rings, but it feels so much better to have them off...i have a big dent on my finger!

Mery…Could your friend be going through fertility issues? I could remember people talking to me about having a baby and I would kind of sort of avoid the subject because it was too painful to talk at time. Also, your friend might be going through personal issue that she does not want any one to know. A pregnancy massage sounds really good. Thanks for mentioning it…I need to look into it.

Martha…Three boys…I love it!

Northeastgirl…Ever since you mentioned cake, I think I’m craving cake…especially ice-cream cake. Congratulations on the small weight gain. Gaining weight is not my favorite thing to do but DH says it is for the baby.

AFM…Just got back from a mini vacation, but today we are leaving for Miami for a few more days. We are trying to pack in as many mini vacations as possible before school begins. Talk to you ladies in a few days.

Mery - I'm sorry about your coworker. The thing that frustrates me the most in situations like this if the "not knowing". Not knowing why they started acting that way. Not knowing if you did something or what happened. It's very frustrating for me. I've had a couple friendships end in the not knowing because the friend just dropped me. I'm not a high maintanence person, so it could be part of my problem because I don't give some the attention they want.

Martha I'm having my baby shower in Texas on Sept 7th. We are flying down on the 5th and come back on the 12th. I am lucky to have a shower there and here.

Maybe and Cathi you too look great! I hadn't done a belly picture before this because I already had a belly (Kinda overweight) before I got preggers, but I was inspired by you pics and had my hubby take one of me. Sometimes I think I don't look preggers depending on what I'm wearing, but some clothes make me look preggers.

Welp I'm the last to find out. I will know on Thursday what we are having. I can't wait. I can't believe how emotional I've been. I cried at the store when we were registering. I could hardly talk to the lady at the store cause I was so happy.

mery - I am sorry about your rings....I am so afraid I won't be able to get mine off...the ring I wear on my right hand is not going back on..I struggled once getting it off and was afraid so I keep it off.

martha - yaa on the shower...you are having a house shower too which is an awesome idea for you and the triplets!

nascar - your little one is a traveler too LOL! Have fun in Miami!

holding - wow Texas! That should be fun. I know about the emotional stuff...I heard a song on the radio and I could not stop crying..it was such a sweet turn.

afm - went to Penneys today and bought some things for Zach...they had some things for next summer for $3 and $4. They were Carters and so adorable. I am still dealing with the anxiety a bit...not so bad a night but during the day is getting worse. Hubby and I had a long talk Friday night and we tried to figure out what was bothering me...I guess I worry about making a good life for Zach and hoping I am going to be a good mom. What he said was that if God did not want me to have this child, and think I would be a good mom, then I wouldn't have been blessed with it. He is right, but I need to put it in my head. We are still dealing with the housing issue...it's going to be a longer process than expected..they have to make sure the foundation is strong enough and some other engineer stuff...so we are in a holding pattern...we are still on the look out for a home...I think the unsettledness with the housing does it to me too...we've been measuring to fit the crib and dresser in our room, but it will be tight...I know lots of people do it. My co worker has two girls in her one bedroom apt. They just bought a house though. Sorry for rambling...Thanks for listening!!

Hopeful-it will all work out. It is so easy to worry right now b/c this is a HUGE turning point in our lives. I find myself waking up and worrying at night, but you are right, God gave us our children because He chose us to be their parents, and knows we will be good mothers.

Holding-I can't wait to hear what you are having! Any feelings one way or the other?

Nascar- Miami sounds awesome...it is so nice that you have been able to take such great trips!

Mery- sorry about your rings...that stinks. I take mine off too as soon as I get home...it feels so much more comfy to not wear them right now!

I have not had a sweet tooth until right now. I went to the grocery store and bought donuts, rice krispie treats, fruit snacks, and cinnamon rolls. I have a feeling my weight is going to go up this week!

Hello ladies,
Thank you very much for the Birthday wishes for my DD... We had a small family oriented party over the weekend. She loved it. I was sooo happy to see her dive into the cake! LOL...

Nascar: Have fun in Miami. Enjoy taking mini vacations now, b/c once the baby arrives, it becomes very hard to take any vacations!

Holding: Texas for a shower! That's nice. Showers are so nice. I really enjoyed mine... Registering is a pain, but opening gifts is the best

Hopeful: I am sure everything will be fine with the housing situation... Just take it easy and try not to stress about everything. I know it's hard. I have had a couple of sleepless nights, and some feelings of guilt over not seeing my DD when I work, but I know that you'll be a great mother! All of us are going to be great!!!

Mery: I am sorry about your rings! I took mine out around 15 weeks and I haven't worn them since. With DD I was late to take them out and I almost had to cut them. This time around I just removed them at the first sign of swelling...

Afm: I had an OB appt today and it went pretty well. I have gained a total of 10lbs. He is very happy with the weight gain. He said I am right on track and I should be gaining about a pound a week from now on... It does get scary from now on when I step on the scale...
I have another Peri appt in two days for another u/s in order to check our little girl! Can't wait to see her and make sure she's fine...

holding - i know how it feels to be emotional..i've been crying so much!

hopeful - don't worry too much...you are so right..God chose us to be the parents of our beautiful little children. i too have been having some anxiety issues lately, but just have to think that God is finally blessing me with this child and He knows I will be a great mom!

martha - sweets..YUMMY! when i crave sweets, it's white cake with white frosting...and sprinkles cupcakes!! yummy! OH, and i also crave sweet chewing gum...like watermelon and strawberry!

northeast - your party sounded like fun! how cute your dd must have been with all the cake on her face..that is sooo cute!! i've gained 10lbs too, and i feel great about it. i think the realy weight is going to start now!

afm - i had a really bad sunday..i cried and was sooooooooo emotional. i just felt weird...very emotional. i am better now...i thank God for my dh, because he is very understanding! i guess it's all the hormones!!

mery - the hormones have to be doing it! Sunday was an emotional day for me too...I heard a song on the radio and lost it...I was on the way to meet hubby for lunch at the mall and needed to pull it together LOL!

northeast - I hope you took pictures...it's so adorable seeing them dig in and how much they've grown! congrats on the weight...awesome job!!

martha - you are so funny...I am on a sweets trip too...cannot get enough cakes and cookies...I have the doc next week both ob and peri..I better be good til then.

afm - I was so exhausted last night I was falling a sleep on the couch at like 8. I went in to bed and got up at like 1 but was able to go back to sleep pretty quickly Hurray! I have been really feeling the little buga moving around a lot lately. It's so amazing and reassuring. I have the ob and peri next week and cannot wait to see how much he's grown since last month. I finally got an appointment for a cleaning with the dentist too..I know I'm crazy to be excited about the dentist, but I hated not getting a cleaning whenI was due LOL!

Hopeful - I know what you mean about being so tired, problem for me is I can't fall asleep. Once I get there I'm pretty good, but for some reason I can't fall asleep.

Mery - I know what you mean about the crying. My hubby kinda makes a little fun, but I think it's his way of trying to get me to laugh. He's so cute.

Martha - I don't know. I think maybe a boy with the stats we have going on here. I did have a lady at work do the needle with string thing and that says it's a boy. Plus, I know nothing about the chinese calander thing, but Mery did it and we were implanted the same day, so I was thinking boy from that. I don't care which we get, although the closer it gets to knowing the more scared I am of having a girl. I know I will love whichever, but I'm not really a girly girl and I'm afraid I won't relate well to a daughter. I know that sounds funny, but my sister has 3 girls and while we all get along, I know I don't relate well to them when they start acting "girly". So I guess we will see in two more days.

Northeast girl - I know what you mean about the pain of registering, but I'm excited about opening gifts. We did suggest to my sister that somehow on the invitations they put gift cards welcomed, but that's only because we have to get the gifts back from Texas to MA and we are flying not driving. I think we are only going to take one suitcase and then buy another while we are there (we need a new one anyways) and put the gifts in that, or we are going to mail them all back here. We still have to figure it out, depends on what all we get. I told my hubby what your ob said about gaining 1 lb a week from here until delivery and if I did the same I would be right on target for my weight gain. I've only gained 6 lbs so far.

I hope everyone is having a great week. It seems to be going slow for me, but I think that's because I'm anxious for Thursday and then I'm anxious for my vacation in September. It's been a long wait to get down to Texas again. Ya'll have a great week.

Holding - Tomorrow will be here before you know it! Cannot wait to hear your news!! 6 pounds is great. I got on the scale last night and I was a little shocked. I think I'm up another 6 pounds from last month..yikes. I gotta put down the cookies LOL!

afm - we rearranged our bedroom last night and cleaned a lot of stuff out. We have so much room. We can definitely fit the crib and the dresser without being too crowded . I felt so much better and slpet good LOL!

Holding: I can't wait to hear what you are having! Don't worry about the girl thing. My DH when he found out that we were having a girl with DD ddin't know how he would relate, but he absolutely adores DD.... You just find a way and it's the best thing in the world! Also, it would be nice if at the shower you mostly got gift cards... Moving stuff from Texas to MA can be a little hard. Of course you can always mail things, but some bulky items might be hard. Can you possibly arrange something with BBrU and have your guests buy the gifts and have them delivered to your house in MA through BBrU? It's worth asking the question...

Hopeful: I know what you mean by emotional. I can cry in a split second.... I can't believe I am like that. But mostly, I am angry. I have no idea why, but I get angry very easily, and I am usually a very calm person. You gotta love pregnancy hormones!

afm: Nothing new over here. I am having another u/s tomorrow, and I am excited once again to see that everything will be fine... We'll see...

Holding..I am getting excited to find out for you As far as the gift thing goes, you can return big bulky items in Tx then repurchase them when you return home...I had to do this at my 1st wedding. I got married in FL and lived in California. I thought people would take that into concideration, but they didn't. I got pots and pans and everything, people are wild...So I returned them and rebought them at home.
