hopeful - yeah! you and dh are finally going to get some much deserved peace! i am very happy that you get to relax and not have to worry abou that added stress! zach sounds so active! gavin is active too, i hate it though when sometimes he gets quiet...but i guess he has to sleep! it sounds like your shower will be so wonderful too! these are exciting times!!

martha - i think you're right...it's going to be impossible for you to blend in. even when i see one cute baby i always look, but THREE darling little boys, oh yeah, you are going to get a lot of attention! that's funny about the carseats...they were probably like, WOW! do you live in a small town, or bigger city? you will get everything done..it will all fall into place!

well ladies we are all pretty much entering into the third trimester.....yippee!!

Hi Mery - I feelt he same way...once Zach quiets down I get nervous...but yea they need to sleep. I was reading that they now have sleep and awake cycles. He's an early riser which is fine with me.

Martha - that is really funny about the car seats! But you and the boys are going to be the focus no matter where you go...enjoy being a proud mommy!
I cannot wait for our crib to come either. My mom told hubby it is available for delivery any time. Hubby thought it would be nice if it was there for the shower since it is her (mom and dad's) gift to us. But she does not want to blow the surprise of the shower, but he told me last night when it was...it's the Oct 11th...I had to promise to be excited LOL!

holding - how are you? How are you feeling?

afm/and us - we are so happy...calm has come over our home...it was really nice to be back to normal last night. I have major cleaning to do, but I did vaccuum and wash some of the walls. My kitties are so freaking happy too...they were hestitant to go in the room and once I said it was ok..they were running all around. Hubby told them that they can play but it's Zachie's room..and they had to be good to their little brother LOL. My husband is 6 foot 2 240 pounds and it is so adorable when he talks to the boys...he's a big mush at heart. It's crazy but there were random items that are "missing"..my hairdryer, a container of bread crumbs, a container of coffee, a bottle of oil...so odd!! But she is gone! Hurray!

hopeful - i couldn't wait for you to post and tell us how it is at your peaceful home! i am so happy that things are back to normal and you can just move on with the decorating of the nursery and just to have that sense of calm is fantastic! i am glad dh told you when your shower is...yippee! that is so weird and random that things like that would be missing! i am glad you finally have your peace!!

afm - today is my shower at work and i am sooooooooo nervous...i cried this morning getting ready for work. i am an emotional person as it is, so throw in these hormones and i am a mess! i am very excited though and cannot wait until 2:00! i've gone over in my head more than a 100 times through the long years of trying to get pg as to what i would say at my own baby shower, and i hope it just flows easily and i don't cry too much! have a great day everyone!!!

Mery - I'm sure you will do fine. Crying is ok. I can't wait to hear how it went and what you go. We had a babyshower for one of the ladies at work today too, but my work doen't go all out like my last job. She got a lot of little items. One of my coworkers said they (being the people from her team who sends around a donation envie) didn't get her something big with all that. The last time I was in charge (I use that term loosely) at this job of a money envie for a preggers girl we only collected 80 dollars. I chipped in another 80 just so we could get her what she really (I asked her what she REALLY wanted) off her registery and that was a stoller. I bet your shower is awesome!

Hopeful - I'm so glad you have your home back. It's funny the things she felt she needed to take, but hey I would give them up easy just to have your home back! My hubby talks to my doggy too and I think it's funny, but he's not 6 foot he's a shorty at 5'10 (and a skinny boy). He sometimes walks around talking in a high pitch voice pretending to be the dog responding to things I say to her. Yeah it's time we have a human to play with.....hehehehe

I'm doing alright. I've been nauseous all day today. I thought the morning sickness was over. I go to the doctor tomorrow and my hubby's like tell the doctor. I was like, why it's part of being preggers. Some woman have it the entire 9 months. I was just grateful to get rid of it after 20 weeks. I hope it's not back for good. So I get to drink the sugar and see what my blood says tomorrow. After this appointment my doctors are having me come every two weeks. My next appt after this we get to have an ultrasound to "see" if my placenta moved up or not (MAYBE we can find out if it's a boy or girl!) My hubby told me I couldn't tell anyone about the next u/s, so I've had to bold face lie to people because some are asking me if I get to have another or when it will be. I had some ask if there was one tomorrow I could easily say no, but I hate to lie.

Hopeful- I am so glad you are finally at peace! That is so strange that those items are "mysteriously" gone! Oh well, I'm sure it's worth it. Your shower is pretty soon...how exciting!

I found out DH's work is throwing us a shower in a couple weeks...I am so excited even though I don't know everyone that well! I think that is so nice of them!

afm - had the regular ob last night...doing good..up 17 pounds total, bo 110/74, glucose is good, no anemia. He is very ahppy I am doing so well since he thought I was going to be a challenge in the beginning because of the bp issues. I have the peri today. Hoping for a sono, but I dunno. He said I am measuring a week ahead, but that is normal. I am seeing him every two weeks and the peri also every two weeks. Found favors for the shower last night. I did not want to have anyone spend a lot of money on anything, so we found these round containers with clear tops, I filled them with pacifier candys, put a ribbon and a flower and leaf...the leaf I wrote thank you love jeannie and phil. It is something small but the candies are tasty LOL! We are going to order the cake after the peri today. We looked at balloons and table things too. I am glad I know when it is and at least I can help...my mom means well but is not a girlie girl!

holding - i am sorry you are getting nauseous..that is NOT FUN! i know sometimes they say the m/s comes back in the third trimester. i am praying mine stays very far away! let me know how the glucose test goes..i go to OB tomorrow afternoon and I will have to do it on Friday, or early next week!

afm - the shower was soooo incredible yesterday. it was very overwhelming in a good way. we got tons of clothes, the swing, the baby monitor, play gym, and just a bunch of other cool stuff! i couldn't believe it! brought all the goodies home and dh couldn't believe it. they set tables of 4 with these pretty hurricane centerpieces with sand and orchids...they really went all out for me....and yes, at the end i thanked everyone and was crying, because most of my co workers know what we have been through, so it was neat to be able to thank them for everything!! my mom came too and she had so much fun. they gave her a grandma' brag book, and she was thrilled. our family and friends shower is 10/17 and i cannot wait for that! have a an awesome day!!

I am happy you found out the day of your shower..I also am the type that likes to know, Plus I like to help...my mom and sis threw mine last year, it was very nice, just not the way I would have done it. I too am very girly and crafty...I would have done up some favors...lol

Afm~~ not much new, Megyns room is almost done, being on bed rest I have nothing to do but shop on internet..lol Oh I ordererd cigars and wrapers for megyn for the cigars...My hubby has been talking about having cigars for the delivery for years...So I found a website that doesnt gouge you for them...I went ahead and ordered them so they would be done, I will let you know how they look when I get them in...

Hi Everyone...

I have been MIA for the past few days, because we went away for a few days in DC. It was a very nice mini vacation and we loved it. We brought DD with us, so it was def. different than what we would have done had we been alone, but still very nice. The weather there was awesome... Coming back here, reminded me how stinky the weather in the North East is... Argh....

Mery: I am so happy you liked your shower! You have a very nice group of co workers. It's very nice to work with people who care!

Martha: Trust me, you'll be getting a lot of comments once the triplets arrive. It'll be very very nice!!! Enjoy!
Also, I am impressed that your DH's work is also throwing you a shower. How nice of them... My advice would be for you to see what you have once all the showers are done, and then go by a TON of diapers in sizes from N to 2 because you'll need them. It's nice to not have to run to the store every day!!!

Cathi: I am glad that you are almost done with Megyn's room. I haven't even started. I have no idea what I'll do... I bet being on bed rest helps in that aspect ... Something really nice and productive to do...

Hopeful: MIL is gone!!!! WOoo HOooo... I bet it was the nicest feeling to be all by yourselves last night! Enjoy the last few months of freedom... It'll be very nice to enjoy time with hubby... Also, I really like your idea for the favors. That's so nice!

I don't remember who had the glucose test today. I also had mine today and I am waiting for the results tomorrow... Hopefully everything will be good! Good luck...

cathi - I am glad he told me too...I am the party planner in the family and look at the details. I asked him a few questions and he was like oooooh, I did not know about that. My mom is more of a laid back person but that's ok. Glad Megyn's room is almost done. It must be such a great feeling!

northeast - I glad you had an awesome time. We went to DC after we found out that I would miscarry in March. It's really nice to get away before the baby! Yea it is getting cold here in NYC too...I have a sweat suit on.

AFM - Peri went well...only had a sono and he is looking good, fluid is good. They are happy with me so I don't have to go til 32 weeks...so 4 weeks from now. I got a pretty good picture but it's on stupid regular paper...he's got chubby cheeks. I think he's gonna be a cutie. We have someone coming to look at the place tonight...I'm tired though and want to go to bed already, but they will be here around 8:30.

Have to do a quick note because I told hubby I would come to bed with him, and he's already been out here twice to find me. The doctor's appt went well. According to their notes I've only gained 10lbs.

Mery the drink wasn't all that bad. I did have indigestion before hand, so that just made it a little worse.

Holding: It's funny you mentioned that about the drink. I was fine before taking it, but it upset my stomach about half an hour after I drunk it. The Dr. asked me to eat something immediately after my appt to soothe my stomach... The results are in and everything looks good for me. So I am happy!
