hopeful - yeah for the crib! wait until you see it set up..it's so cool!!! 50 yr warranty on a mattress..that's hysterical! i bet you are wiped out...i am too, even though i am home. i am tired, but have that nesting thing kicking in...i just want to organize everything, which is so unlike me. how's the weather in the east?? 9 weeks left..that's nuts!

afm - doing good..the sugars are fluctuating a bit, but all either in very good range, or a little above. i just got on the scale and lost 4 pounds, but i still feel HUGE..lol! going for the 4d u/s tonight..hopefully we can see his face straigt on! have a great day everyone!

mery - one word COLD!! The high today is going to be 45 with lots of wind and rain. That is pretty much the forecast til Monday. I am 30 weeks and 4 days already so 9 weeks and 3 days to go. I cannot believe it either. I am so happy you are home. You need the time to figure it out and take care of yourself. It is good it is somewhat under control, it will take time to make the adjustments. I lost 4 pounds in the two weeks too, but feel huger...it makes not sense but does any of this? LOL!
Yea, wiped out is not the word. I can't keep my eyes open. It's crazy!!

hopeful - when are you taking off work? i don't want you traveling too much longer in that freezing weather!!! it rained here yesterday...and it's supposed to be 90 on saturday!! try and keep your eyes open and drink a sugary drink for me! you lost 4 pounds too...nuts! well, the less weight, hopefully the easier it will be to drop the baby weight!

OK..so I am cleaning my closet and trying on shoes and alot of them do not fit anymore...yikes! are you ladies having that problem too? do your shoes still fit????

Hi Mery - I was told a few days ago I need to go to Philly on Dec 3rd...a 2 1/2 hour bus ride each way for disaster recovery...ummmm I am due in 17 day from then. I don't think I am going...I am so afraid that I would get stuck there or something. My scheduled last day is Dec 4th. None of my shoes fit...I've been wearing sneakers and flip flops...it's cold for the FFs so I am in a dress and sneakers...fancy huh. I cannot believe you are getting 90s again...I think winter is upon us now...Monday was the hottest day of the week...high of 50. It's pouring rain here...weather to just stay in bed. I am going to go through our front hall closet this week-end. I'm sure there is stuff I can get rid of LOL!

I will try to read all the previous posts when I find a min. (my DD has been sick ) but I just need to vent... It's snowed here overnight!!!! Can you believe it??????????? For god's sake, it's OCTOBER!!!! I can't take this weather anymore... I would take 100F with 100% humidity over this and I am not kidding!!!!

Northeast and Hopeful~~~ It is funny you guys are complaining about it being too cold... Nascar and I have been raving 90 degrees for months...We hear a cold front is coming in today so it should get to 70...But 90 with our humitity has been torcher on a pregnant lady...its the hottest October in years...I can't believe you are seeing snow already that is crazy...We should all move to San Diego, Its the only place I have ever lived that has awesome weather all year round...lol

AFM~~ We are fnally having my dads service on Monday. Its going to be nice to have the closure. 9 weeks left of being pregnant we are all in the single digets!! WhoHOOO.. I am hoping to find out Tuesday My exact c section date..I'm a planner...lol Hope everyone has a great weekend...

Cathi - I am happy the service is Monday...it will be nice to finally have closure. Weather is sooo bad here...I had to break out the scarves and gloves. Hubby is wearing his snow jacket today and head wrap LOL!! He was so cold with his scrubs on yesterday...that are not the thickest. Mery I think is from San Diego..I think...maybe my preggo memory is off, but there is someone...LOL! Wow Tuesday! that is great you will know the day Megyn is going to be here!

hopeful-How exciting to get your crib! That's hilarious about the mattress warranty. I've been wondering what to do as it gets colder...I don't want to buy a coat either and I don't have many warm maternity clothes.

Mery-The 4 lb. loss is great, especially since it's from healthy changes. Not having heartburn must be sooo nice!! You will have less to lose, too which is great! Yes, I noticed my sneakers feel snug too, but i have been wearing flip flops for months, so I may not be used to enclosed shoes.

Cathi-that will be nice for you to get your C-section date...it's nice to be organized! Thinking of you this weekend/next week

Nascar- Wow, I am impressed that you are walking that much and staying in shape...that's fantastic!

Well, my hubby does not have H1N1, just a stomach bug, which still stinks, but not as scary for me. He has been staying upstairs and me downstairs, so at least he didn't have to go to a hotel! I had a peri appt. yesterday and all is well...my boys are large (between 2lbs. 3oz and 2 lbs. 8 oz) I am currently carrying 7 lbs of babies! I had Braxton Hicks the other day...crazy!

hopeful - i really think that you should not go to philly..with your due date, you could be early or late, so I just would not chance it..they will have to understand. i think maybe lives in SD..i live in huntington beach so only 1 1/2 hours from SD!!

northeast - i saw that on the news that it was snowing and in october, you're right..i bet it sucks. i am so sorry dd is sick...what does she have? it's 92 degrees here today and i am dying..i hate it. i wish we all could get a happy medium!

cathi - that is really good that you are going to get some closure. i know, it's crazy that the time is flying. someone at the store today asked me how far along i was, and i said 30 weeks..and she was like, oh, you still have a ways to go..that bugged me..doesn't she know we are in the home stretch!!!!

martha - wow...that's a lot of baby weight...7lbs!! i am so happy they are all growing perfectly! the braxton hicks are crazy huh?? i am glad you are holding up well and the boys are great!!

afm - we did the 3d u/s last night...that was the coolest experience. our little guy was so animated, yawning, smiling, kicking, opening his eyes..we just couldn't believe it. the girl said that our pics were extra clear because i had been on the iv and she couldn't believe how good we could see him. he defintely has my lips, and just the cutest face! at the end, the girl said, ok..say goodbye and i swear, he put his 2 fingers up and threw up the peace sign...it was so cute!! have a great weekend everyone! my baby shower is tomorrow...i cannot wait!!

Cathi that is so funny, I had someone at church come up to me and say, at least your not pregnant in August. I would rather have our hot temps back because at least then I could have the a/c blaring. Here everyone has their heat blaring and I'm dying of heat stroke just being indoors. My poor hubby is freezing to death because I won't let him put the heat on at all. Some days I have the a/c running in the car and it's 30 degrees outside. I did take a picture of the snow on our van, so I could email to my sister. The snow didn't stick and we don't have anymore left, but it was on the windshield. I'm glad you guys have a date for the funeral now. I will be thinking of you this weekend.

Mery - that sounds cool about the 3d ultrasound. It must have been AwEsOmE.

Martha - I'm glad your hubby didn't have to stay in a hotel. It sucks that he's sick, but I'm glad he's not got N1H1.

Hopeful - that's crazy about them wanting you to go to PA the day before you maternity leave starts. I would have to say, "Thanks, but no thanks"

Northeast girl - I'm with you about the snow. I hope your daughter gets better.

asm, it's been a pretty crappy day, we had to put one of our dogs down. It was one of the hardest days I've had. She was a good and loyal companion. She will be missed.

holding - so many many to you. i am so sorry you had to put one of your dogs down. i can only imagine how hard this is for you. we have 2 dogs, 3 cats so i know how painful this must be. i will be thinking of you.

afm - nothing much going on this week-end...tired but cold not sleep last night...but after hubby left for work I got 3 hours in. Gotta clean but don't wanna...going to make some nice beef stew for dinner and just veggs out tonight. I think I may be getting a cold...feel like poop. I am having anohter shower at work...crazy but my old department, the one I worked in for 20 years, is having a lunch for me. Some were at the first one so I was kinda surprised when they told me yesterday. They wanted to be sure I am going to be in because it is going to be in the Partners' Dining Room. Philly is out. Hubby was freaking and when I think about it I was too. We got a new administrator for Maternity Leave so I had to speak with him yesterday. Policy is the same but they at least know what they are talking about. So my paperwork is being sent to the doc and if I go out before Dec 4...no worries (LOL) they will take care of it. The old admin wasn't sure what they do for women who go early LOL. We put the crib together and my kitties think it's for them. We gotta figure out how to keep them out...Hubby said if he sees on in the crib when Zach comes they all have to go...I not happy...so I am trying aluminum foil today. Balloons did not work.

Hey ladies,

I went back and read your posts... Thank you for all your questions about DD. She has had diarrhea for the past 5 days, but absolutely no other symptoms. Her appetite is great, so the pediatrician is not worried. The only problem is that I have to change diapers and clothes every hour practically, and her bum has such a diaper rash it's not even funny... I don't know what to do anymore. I give her showers pretty much hourly and I put all the diaper rash cream I can... I hope it stops quickly, because I feel bad for her and I get very very very tired lifting her up all the time. The poor thing wants to be held constantly and I don't blame her!!! I bet it'll pass within the next couple of days.

Cathi: I will be thinking of you on Monday...
As for being in the single digits of this pregnancy, I can't wait. I want my body back!!!

Holding: I am sooo sorry for your dog. That's very very hard. I had a couple of dogs growing up and I know how hard it is. I want to get a dog now, but it'll have to wait until the kids are a little older. I can't imagine having to train a dog and have infant/toddle around. I'll go crazy

Hopeful: I hope you are not coming down with anything... It's hard enough as it is, so I hope that you'll feel better soon. Good luck with the aluminum foil today. LOL...

Mery: 3D U/S.... That's amazing. When I was being monitored for fifth disease, the peri sneaked in a few seconds of a 3D u/s and I have a couple of pictures from that session. It's the coolest thing... I can't wait to meet my little one in person...

Martha: I am happy for you and your triplets. I bet you are very very tired, but sooo soo happy. They are growing perfectly... I bet your belly is growing as nicely How is your back feeling???

Afm, I kind of gave you an update of what is happening in this household. My pregnancy is sadly the last thing on my mind. After I put DD to sleep, I sit down and at that point try to enjoy the kicks... But I usually fall asleep soon after that, so I barely have time to enjoy them!

The snow was gone pretty quickly yesterday, but it was and is very very cold. I can't believe this. I am hoping for some kind of warm up, because I really don't like cold weather. At this point, I'll consider 60 warm (which in reality it isn't!), anything but 30's or 40's....
