Nascar Check out Boscovs for a cars stroller. It's the umbrella kind, but I thought it was cute

Cars Lightening McQueen Umbrella Stroller

Northeast girl - maybe you can leave her diaper off and let her run free for about 10 mins between changes and washings. It might help airing out the rash. I know it's a gamble if she's gotta go, but it might help. Hey did you go back far enough, we're having a girl!

I'm doing better today. I woke up to potty in the middle of the night and kinda missed seeing my little girl laying in the hallway (that's where she's been sleeping this past week) We still have another dog and she's been working overtime to keep me happy. I've never put a dog down before, my family always had pets growing up, but I don't know what ever "happened" to any of them. Northeast girl I was thinking about getting another dog too, but then I was like wait a baby and puppy, not an easy combo. We did talk about possibly getting one when this baby is 2 because the other dog we have now is old too and I don't know how our kiddo will take it when she has to go bye bye. Then again if she's still young when the doggie goes she might not remember like me.

Holding: CONGRATULATIONS!!! I guess I didn't go back far enough... I am so glad you finally found out what you are having... Girls rock!!!
Thank you for the advice for the rash. I have tried it, but it tends to be a very very messy option, especially with diarrhea I do it whenever I can, because I feel so bad for DD... but the clean up with my huge belly is not easy. I can't bend over any more!

Again, congrats....

Northeast - how DD is feeling better..there has been something going around and with the weather here in NE it is not going to help matters. We were freezing over the week-end and hubby had ice on the windshield of the car but tomorrow is going to be 60..go figure!

Aluminum foil worked!! ..Pumpkinpuss..the cat hubby hates (he's a scaredie cat and when he was a kitten clung to me) jumped in and landed on the foil and was gone from the room in 1 second. All three have stayed away since then. I am feeling better as far as the cold, but I have that stupid lower ligament pain. I picked hubby up from work and we came home and went right in bed. I could not get comfortable at all last night...did not sleep well. But hopefully I will just pass out tonight. Doc explained that since the uterus is getting bigger the ligaments only stretch so far. Other than that, I am ok..tired, and having a little anxiety about getting everything done and what am I missing...ugg...

Mery- How was your shower? So cute about Gavin and the peace sign! I'm glad things are looking good!

Cathi-how are you doing today? I'm thinking of you!

Holding- So sorry about your doggy...

Northeast- how is DD? I hope she is feeling better. It must be hard to bend over and change her! My back has been OK, especially because I am laying most of the time. It hurt much more when I was still working.

Hopeful- that's funny about the aluminum foil...I never would have thought of it! I hope you sleep well tonight. I definitely go through phases where I sleep better than others.

It is cold here now at night and I have been sleeping sooo much better with very vivid dreams too! I slept almost 12 hours last night! I have been eating sooo much lately and lots of my maternity clothes are tight! I can only imagine what a mess I will look at dr. appts. from now on...big sloppy sweatshirts and the stretchiest pants I can find!

Hi guys~~

Martha Thanks for thinking of me, it was atough day but we made it through and today I actually felt pretty relieved..Like a new chapter is being opened...We had a doctors appt today...They said it will be my last cervix check, because it is doing so well and I am getting far enough along...We also scheduled my C section date...It is going to be December 18th at 0830...;I am so excited.. I will be exactly 37 weeks...He is doing an ammnio on the 17th to make sure Megyn's lungs are fully developed..It is nice to have a goal...So 60 days till delivery...

We ordered her stroller and car seat today, it should be delivered by the end of the week. We went with the Chicco..It is gray and pink...none of the local stores carry the pink one so we had to order it...It is usually 329.00 but we got it for 295.00 free shipping and no tax...

We finally got some weather relief..although it doesn't seem its going to last, but I will enjoy it for now....

Cathi - I'm glad to hear you are doing better. That is great about the c section. I go to my doctor in about three weeks for another u/s and depending on how this u/s goes will depend if we have to schedule an induction. My placenta is still very close to my cervix, but the doctor seems pretty optomistic that it will move up and away from the cervix. If it doesn't move I am hoping to schedule for 12/16 are after. We will see what happens.

That's cool about the stroller, we ordered our crib and dresser and changing table last night. I'm very excited we got a great deal. We purchased it at JC Penney and the whole set was $800 less than the set we registered for at BRU. We saved $500 with coupons and sales. I have my babyshower tomorrow night, and I can't wait. After that we will work on getting the rest of the necessities.

cathi - i am so glad you have some closure..i'm sure it was a very hard day for you and i am thinking of you. yes, a new chapter has begun in your life and you got some great news today..no more cervix check..that is fantastic! and you have your c section date which is another plus for you! we also went with the chicco car seat/stroller combo in that black, gray and yellow...it's very nice..dh put it together and we are strolling it around the house!! we are dorks! i love the pink..it's so cute!

northeast - i hope your dd is feeling better..poor little girl! how are you holding up??

hopeful - i am glad the aluminum foil worked. we put the screen door up and it's been great so far. underneath my boobs it hurts so bad sometimes..like everything is squished up on my ribs. i hope your pains are feeling better! i do have some anxiety too about getting all accomplished...we are almost there, so I just want things done and organized. especially with me being in the hospital..it freaked me out, i just want it all done so i can relax a bit!

martha - i bet you are tired and hungry with the 3 growing boys! eat away..and have some sweets for me!! i'm sure you look beautiful..go sweats! i wish i could wear them all the time!!! i went back to work today and getting dressed for work is a chore at this point!

holding - sounds great about your dresser and changer..good job on the savings!! have a great night tomorrow night at your shower!!! i know you'll get alot of good stuff!

afm - had my shower on saturday..it was a blast...we got so much stuff...like really, the nursery looks like a baby store. we got tons of clothes and just other cool stuff. we only need a couple more things and we a lot of gift cards so it should cover it!
my blood sugar numbers have been great and i went back to the dietician yesterday and she showed me how to go out to dinner and what to eat...thank goodness for that! i went back to work and had a lot of braxton hicks, i just wish i could be off work already!

we start our childbirth classes tomorrow night..i cannot believe how close we are all getting!!!

Have I mentioned I hate computers??? I just wrote a response and the whole thing disappeared, b/d the hello ladies... Go figure!!!

Anyway, I try to write something again...

Cathi: I am glad that you got your closure. It's soooo important in order to be able to move forward from here. On a different note, I am happy you got your stroller. I have a Chicco (Keyfit30) and I like it. It's very nice but I will have to find a twin stroller when this one comes. The Chicco I have is nice, but after a few months (once you stop using the car seat) it can be a little bulky. It's ok though... You can always buy an umbrella stroller then.

Hopeful: I am happy that the aluminum foil worked. That's nice... Then have to learn to stay away from the crib...

Holding: I wish you the best at your u/s. If you have to have a c-section, I have to admit that it's not that bad. I am actually happy I have mine scheduled. You are never in pain, you just walk in and have a baby Not bad at all...

Martha: I am glad you are doing ok. Try to rest as much as you can, because once the triplets come, you'll have no time!!!

Afm: DD is doing MUCH better... She's not sick anymore, but we are having issues with sleep, which we never did before. No idea what is causing them, but I am sure it's another phase and she'll go back to normal. Besides that, I am doing ok as well. I had an OB appt today and everything looks normal. I can't believe that I am at the 2wk visits from now on. 9 more weeks to go... Wow... that's toooooo soon!!!

Have a great day everyone...

Cathi- I'm glad your weekend was OK. How exciting to have your C-section date! I bet your pink carseat/stroller is adorable!

Holding-have fun at your shower! Good job on saving lots of $$ on furniture!

Northeast- I am glad DD is feeling better. Yes, 9 weeks seems way too soon, doesn't it???

Mery-enjoy your childbirthing class...I'm sure it will be so exciting! Sounds like you had a great shower. Our nursery (and hallways) are filled with toys/clothes too, but I love it! I bet your dietician is so helpful...I would love to have someone help me with my diet.

afm-I met with our future pediatrician today. She is soooo nice and was referred to me by a girl in town that has trips. I got a really good feeling about her, and feel very confident having her see my kids. I have my glucose test tomorrow at the OB. Debating about the H1N1 shot. I was absolutely going to get it, but now I'm scared...what are you all going to do?

Cathi - I am so happy you now have closure....I am sure it is still hard, but like others have said he is watching over you now. Wow December 18th! I am glad you are doing well..it's not long now until you meet her!

mery - I am glad you are doing well!! You are a great mommy! The organization is driving me nuts...the dresser is not coming until mid November so I have baby things...kinda all over. We need to get a few more things as well...hubby's mom was supposed to get the bedding but guess not...so we will be on the hunt this week-end...need to get the pack n play too. Gives me a reason to shop LOL!

northeast - glad DD is going better...could she be going through a growth spurt? I heard that somewhere. I know we are so close...I only have 6 more work weeks left...yikes!

martha - we found our pediatrician too...she is a close family friends wife. You must be getting really big...how are you feeling? I cannot imagine having three move all at once!

afm - I have been quite busy at work...trying to move and train for when I am out. I really cannot wait for maternity leave to start...sleep is ok..but I get comfy and it the alarm goes off...figures right. Like I mentioned we still need to get some stuff, but I think for the most part me are ok, if we did not get the other stuff on the list...just maybe the pack n play. I am looking to get a co sleeper type one so that he can be in that for the first few weeks. Kitties know the crib is now not for them...makes me feel better...they lay under it...it is really cute!

Have a great day all!!

Talking Update!!!

Hey ladies!
I'm just dropping in to check on everyone. You guys seem to be doing great, which makes me so happy!!! This has been one heck of a journey so far. Last week I came down with the flu, and almost got hospitalized. Talking about being scared. It hit me so suddenly. I ended up having to calling my MIL to take me in for treatment. Luckily for baby, and me I started to get better after the 3rd or 4th day. I still haven't had any showers yet. Apparently most of them have been planned closer to my due date. Which I'm not to happy about. I really want to have things organized, and ready to go. It's hard enough working around three school age babies. Anyways, for those of you who have little ones already have you tried a "Siblings Class"? I took my kids to one today, and it was amazing and so darn cute! They had them change diapers, and dress up in scrubs. They were even given a tour of the Labor & Delivery unit! So now my babies are Certified Big Sisters, and Brother. Yay! So that's my update for now. I hope that I didn't burn a whole in your heads. I will probably be a little more active on the forum now that I'm stuck at home. So I can't wait to hear from you all! Take care.

Tanya: I had no idea you had other children. How nice! I am sure they're very happy about the new addition. How old are they?

Martha: I am glad you found a pediatrician. Our pediatrician was recommended by a family friend and we are very happy about him...

Hopeful: I hope you're feeling good. I know what you mean about trying to keep comfy...

I am to the point that I just want this pregnancy to end. I get VERY tired... Ladies enjoy this pregnancy, because if you manage to get to a second pregnancy, it's only harder... You have to run behind another child which had endless energy and you just don't!!! By the end of the day I can't move. My hand and legs are swollen and I have severe pain on my back from lifting DD all day long. I can't do it anymore. I prefer to be dealing with an infant than being pregnant!!! Anyway, enough with my complaining, because I can just keep going... Hope everyone has a great day... Talk to all soon.
