Hello girls...
Happy Easter to everybody... I am exhausted today. We went for the transfer we ended up transferring two. But, in order to get those two, we had to thaw 4. I had a total of 6 frozen, so it was a bummer that I lost two during the process. The ones I transfered have lost some of the cells (so they are not perfect) and are somewhat fragmented. We'll see.... I am not having very high hopes for this cycle! Praying for a miracle, how did your transfer go?  to all! Happy easter!

polarbaby22.....so sorry to hear you are in pain i would call the re. it might be the embryo implanting.. as far as an ectopic pregnancy i do not think its possible because the embryos are put in the uterus and i do not think theycan go into the follopian tubes, usually ectopic happens when the sperm ferilizes the egg in the tubes but does not make its way to the uterus , so i say just relax, but call your doctor if it really hurts...

Pupo.....
Thank you all for your responses. I did an HPT on Friday and got a faint positive. I did another one today and that line sure did get darker!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I really want the beta results. My RE will have to hammer it in my head that I'm preggers!!! But for now I am PUPO!!!

Polar...It sounds like the little ones are trying to make a home for the next 9 months. Has the pain gone away? Is it a sharp pain or a cramp?

Implantation Timetable
I found this information online and thought others might find it useful as well. It looks to be pretty accurate
3 Day Transfer: 1dpt .. Embryo is growing and developing 2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst 3dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day 4dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining 5dpt... Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining 6dpt... Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining 7dpt... Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells 8dpt... Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood 9dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops 10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops 11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be detected on HPT 5 Day Transfer: 0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst 1dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day 2dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining 3dpt... Transferred 3 today
Northeastgirl – Congratulations on the transfer! Your RE would probably have thawed the remaining 2 if he didn’t think the two he transferred were viable, right? So, keep the faith that one if not both will snuggle in! Congratulations on being PUPO with twins!
Chodori’s angel – I have seen some negative HPT’s turn out to be positive, but I don ‘t think I’ve seen a positive HPT ever turn out to be negative. Although I know you will want to hear it directly from the doctor. Congratulations!!! Hopeful12, KDFCLF, Marthac, and Krissymexico – Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. They must have worked because we had three blastocysts to transfer today! Nascar01 – Thank you for the words of encouragement. I am hoping for 1, just the right one! Wishing09 – Bad news about the bottle, but GREAT NEWS that you had another one! You would have had a terrible time finding a progesterone source with no notice! Maybeamommy – Sorry about your HPT. But try not to read too much into it, it’s early and there have been examples for negative HPT's turning into positive betas. I know it's hard, but try to keep positive thoughts! Holdingmybreath – Welcome to the board and to the 2ww! We’re rooting for you and for the BFP! We’ll both have our betas on the 20th, so we can be 2 ww buddies! Polarbaby22 – Thank you for the well wishes. I am sorry you are in so much pain. I hope and pray it’s implantation, but you might want to call your RE today, depending on your level of discomfort. We arrived at the RE's office and found out all three blastocysts thawed and are viable. Two looked better than the other and DH is really nervous about multiples, but we went ahead and transferred all three. I was crampy today and after the transfer I went home and took a nap. I know that it's way too soon for symptoms from the transfer, but I released my own egg last week which the RE told us to try and fertilize, so maybe it is from that egg implanting, who knows? (That thought freaks out the DH a bit!!!) We could have four in there. But we'll call it three for my DH's sanity! We're  for a positve Beta on the 20th. to everyone!!!

HI Everyone!!
Chodori - thanks for the info...good research job!! praying - that's great news...rest up and take care of yourself! Today is Beta day for me...as you can see I am up way early and quite nervous....did a HTP and got a faint positive....I am cautiously optimistic after what happen last time around. Keep you all posted when I get the call later today

Thanks for you support. My pain is better...FYI, even though we do IVF and the doctor puts embies right into our uterus,,,they can still move into the tube and cause an ectopic...crazy but true. I guess thats why I am soooooooooo paranoid...But today the pain is much better, just a bit sore.

finally some good news
Finally some good news guys!!! I have to share it!
My 2 Blasts made the thaw -  and now we are waiting on the other 5 to make the thaw. I am optimistic - finally! My procedure is Wednesday at 11am with acupuncture an hour before and an hour afterwards. I am finally feeling good about this one! Thanks for listening! I am so glad to have people that understand what it is like to go through all of this - the ups and downs and all the in betweens! You guys have been great!  Heather
