maybeamommy...On one of website, one of the girls had the same symptoms and she was pregnant with twins. Unfortauntely, she lost one of the twins, but she is 6 months pregnant with a boy. I am so sorry that you are going through this. Keep your faith and stay positive.


Here is some information I found on the internet:

Symptoms of a miscarriage:

* Strong cramps that make you double over or breathe in a huffy way. Bleeding will usually follow quickly.

* Heavy bleeding that soaks a pad in a few hours or less.

* Passage of tissue, resembling large thick blood clots in the earliest weeks up to pinkish/grayish material, with or without cramps or pain.

The physician generally directs the woman with symptoms to rest in bed and to abstain from sexual intercourse.

maybe - i am so sorry you are going through this, try and stay positive and pray and talk to your little babies. it could be completely normal, especially if you are not doubled over in pain. i was on another site and another thread during the 2ww and remembered a girl on there that had the same situation as you...she did go to the ER and she said she fainted from all of the blood loss. she thought for sure it was a miscarriage but once they did the u/s and took her beta, everything was fine...she just had to be on bedrest for a few days. she was bleeding heavily and she was fine. listen, you've gone through sooooo much to get to where you are today. i know RE said not to go, but it will give you the ultimate piece of mind to know that things are OK...don't sit at home and suffer and stress because that will not help the situation. go if you need to..it's your body...and you do what is right for you. you deserve to know that everything is OK...hang in there and i will be praying for you! REMEMBER, go with your gut...if you need to go, GO!!

Maybe, I am thinking of you. Try to stay positive. We go through so much for this pregnancy, but you have to remember that bleeding in early pregnancy is common. Just take it VERY easy and go to the ER if that will make you feel better....

maybemommy.... oh sweetie im so sorry you are going through this, stay calm, do not stress, send all your love to your babies, tell them to be strong, and how much you love them... and i agree with mery if the bleeding has not stopped i would go to the hospital , at least that way you know what is happening, also sometimes in the hospitals they can give you medication to help stop the bleeding.. im thinking of you and your in my prayers

Maybe - I'm thinking of you! I that everything is ok! Everyone has already said it, remember cramping is normal and so is bleeding. You could be right you might just be one and not both. Mery is also right, if it will help, go to the hospital. The doctor is right about one thing, there is nothing you can do go stop the process, but it will help to know what really is happening whether it's good or bad!

Chodori's I can' wait to hear your news tomorrow! I can't believe so many of use have u/s this week, and I'm so excited to finally see what's going on. I'm scared we are not going to have a heartbeat or something worse. I know I need to be positive, and I still have plenty of symptoms, so there's no reason for me think this way, but I think I'm just scared.

holding - my 2nd u/s is actually tomorrow, i had the date wrong!! and i know how you are feeling. even though i've already had one, i still am nervous...dh and i are praying we see the hb and/or hear it...i am having all the symptoms too, but just want everything to be OK....i'm with you!! we do need to be positive, because being stressed is not good for us. i'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow!

chodori's - i know you said you had a u/s on saturday i think..will you still be going tomorrow??

Thank you all for sharing your bed rest /post-transfer experiences...I have learned so much from all of you! I decided to take an extra day off work tomorrow, so I can continue to relax. I don't have any symptoms yet...however, when DH gave me my PIO tonight, I almost passed out and got very nauseated and had to lay down immediately...very strange. That has never happened before.

I am so excited about all of the u/s coming up!!! Hope the morning sickness remedies are working for everyone!

marthac - i am glad you are taking an extra day off work tomorrow..i think that is a great idea to continue to relax! i am glad everything is going well....watch yourself with those PIO shots..i hope that's an early pg symptom!! you gotta love those PIO shots...my butt is totally numb on both sides except for twinges of pain..LOL! oh well, we'll do it, no complaints! take care!

Mery71...I'm tyring all the remedies for m/s but nothing seems to work. I'm hungry, but can't having a hard time deciding what to eat. DH has put on a few pounds. I told him, "I'm , not you." He just chuckled.

Mery - Since I went to the ER I still have to follow up with my RE. Which I am more than happy to do. I love the doctors in the ER, but they aren't specialist. And not to mention that I didn't get any pics. My appointment is at 10:45 am CST. I can't wait!!!

Hopeful - Have you tried the wristbands for nausea? I bought mine at a local drug store for $10.00, and they seem to help.

Nascar: I am sorry to hear about your m/s. The only thing that worked for me last time was eating. I had to make sure my stomach was full... and I would still get m/s but at a less degree.

Maybe: Are you feeling better? Did you see your RE? Give them a call today and have them monitor you.

Chodori: Let us know about your u/s as soon as you find out... How exciting!

Martha: I am sorry you almost passed out after the PIO. Those things are NOT fun. Even though it's been about 3 days since my last injection, my butt is still VERY sore and numb. I hate it, but I hope that it's going to be back to normal within the following week. Just keep thinking about the final result. It's all worth it. Ask your RE if they can switch you to a suppository or a cream after your Beta. With my first pregnancy I was on PIO 12 weeks (torture) but with this one, they switched me to the gel and they are saying that it's the same as the PIO... I'll take it... It's soooo much easier!

Mary: I'm waiting to hear about your u/s. Good luck....

Hi nascar - yes m/s is kicking my butt so bad...I've tried everything...crackers and ginger ale (the real kind) ginger tea, ginger in the juicer. Chodori -I have to try the seaband to see how they work.

martha - glad you are taking an extra day..take the rest.
