hi ladies - u/s was great..there was for sure one bean...no twins and it grew so much from last week!! i know i saw the hb, but my RE didn't want to really acknowledge it, it was weird....he said everything looked perfect, saw the yolk sac and fetal pole, and he said we would be able to hear and see the hb next u/s which is on monday, 5/11..but it was moving right there at the yolk sac and DH even saw it...i think my RE is a super cautious guy i guess...i was a little annoyed but oh well, he said everything looked perfect.
 when we were driving home from RE, my top right side of my lip started to swell and got so enormous i had to go the doctor..ugggh...he said i could have had an allergic reaction to something or i am getting a nasty cold sore. the right side of my lip is HUGE! i did take some benadryl which is on my safe drugs list from RE and i hope it gets better. i've gotten cold sores since i was a kid, but never like this, so i hope it is just a reaction to something. chodori's - let us know how u/s goes...cannot wait! marthac - enjoy your day off!!! hopeful - i know the feeling...get those sea bands, i know they have helped me. i hope you feel better!! northeastgirl - i hope you had a fun weekend with you friend!!! maybe - i am still praying for you and thinking of you often.

Nothing less than a miracle...
By some miracle of God... as of today, both of our babies are still okay!
We went in this morning for an u/s and I immediately saw Baby A... bigger than ever. My eyes started tearing because I honestly honestly thought we lost them both. With the amount of blood I had lost, I couldn't even fathom either of them being okay. As he moved the probe, we saw little tiny Baby B... with a distinct heartbeat flickering away. Baby A's heartrate is 136, Baby B's is 113. So as of today, both of the babies are alive. The prognosis for Baby B is not good though. B's sac is very small and doesn't seem to really be growing, although B IS growing. The difference in their sizes is very noticeable... and it's likely that B will not be viable. The RE said we should know in the next week what will happen to B. I go back on Friday for another u/s. I have to switch to PIO instead of the suppositories, at least until the bleeding stops. We are praying for another miracle for Baby B... but are realistic in our thoughts. edited to attach picture! 6%20weeks%205%20days%20%282%29.JPG

it's amazing how much they grow in such a little amount of time, right? i hope you feel better soon!martha - when do you plan on POAS?? hopeful & nascar- so sorry about the m/s! i hope you get some relief soon! chodori's - any update on your u/s???

I am so glad baby A is thriving so well!! Mary-great news on the u/s!!! I am sorry about your lip...bless your heart, you have had a rough week.Hopeful-hang in there, hun! Hopefully you can get that u/s earlier. I would be dying too! I plan to POAS on Thurs. (6dp5dt)...if I don't chicken out!

My ultrasound!!!!

Hey ladies!!! Finally the results are in!!! Can you guess how many? Lol!!! We have two beans!!! I was so excited to see two heartbeats on the screen today. I almost cried. As you can tell Baby B is quite smaller than Baby A. I was told that baby B may become a "vanishing twin." Which has me pretty bummed, but I'm not giving up hope. My RE scheduled me for another ultrasound on May 18th. Hopefully baby B will catch up. But if not mommy loves, loves, loves you baby!!! At this point I am feeling so blessed. Thank you for all your well wishes!!!!

Congratulations Chodori and Mary... Great ultrasounds....
Chodori I will be for baby B to get bigger.Maybe: I am SOOOO HAPPY that both of your babies are doing great.... I am very excited about it. PIOs are painful, but we'll do anything to make sure our babies are doing good. Good luck with everything and keep us posted...

Medication refills?????
Hey ladies. I just found out that my insurance will be ending soon. Which totally sucks, because if we only end up with one baby we want to try again. I have 2 refills left on each of my meds. Do you think that I should get them? I think that it will cut down future cost. The total amount that I paid for all my meds. was $188.00!!! Any suggestions? No other employers in Oklahoma offers IVF assistance. Thanks!!!

Tanya: I have no idea which meds you are on, but the medications have a shelf life of about 1 year and I am not sure you'll want to go ahead and try for another child when the first(s) will be about 3 months old. Also, your RE might change the medications next time around. If it was only $188, then think about it and if you want to get them do that, but keep in mind you might not be able to use them...
