Nascar01...I have the little herb dots on my ears now...I still have the marks from the cupping...hubby is a little frekaed out by the marks..so I really do not thing I will do it again...Defintely the acupunture again...Good luck all!!

KCF...You're a lucky gal for your clinic to have a room set aside for ACP. I'm envious. :-)

Krissy...Since AF has not shown up, could you be preggo? Just a thought. If not, what about taking a baby aspirin to get her to show up? I know this is TMI, but sometimes if my DH and I BD, she shows up the next day or so.

Hopeful12...The dots in the ears feel strange. I've only had one person make a comment to me about the dots in my ears...I have long hair; therefore, covering my ears. As for cupping, I do not blame you for not wanting to do that.

nascar01, you made me laugh, thats exactly what my dh and i did this afternoon, we think alike.. i have been on baby asprin since dic.... since im an x smoker and there is no way im pregnant my dh has a vicetomy thats why were doing ivf. hope arrives soon..

marthac.. looks like i might have my transfer around you transfer date seeing im late, so you will not be the last one ill be there at the same time..

Went for blood work and sono...lining was 10.6 - so I thinks that looks good...she said I did not ovulated yet...odd cause today as day 16 and I pretty much ovulate like clock work...we'll see what the b/w reads. This was not the regular sono tech so she's not as forthcoming with info...she said transfer next week...I hope it's sooner...I have a 5 day embie waiting...

Nascar01...definitely not doing the cupping...my back is still really red...it doesn't hurt but looks very strange...I have long hair too so the only one who commented was hubby...the patches are kinda skin colored...

Got the news!! Transfer on Monday 4/6!! Start I have to do nasal spray tonight..then Estrace and Prometrium on 4/1... this is our time!

Greetings Ladies -

I had my morning bloodwork and ultrasound. My lining is at 6. So, I will go back in on Thursday for another ultrasound and hopefully that will be enough and it will build up to at least 8. What is everyone else's numbers? I never know what is good enough and by what day?

Besides being on edge with the procedure - which is on the 8th - I have a sinus infection. It always happens to me. During my IVF cycle I was so sick, I had to call the dr the night before my transfer and come in early to see what would happen if we still transfered after me being so sick. He still did the transfer, but was coughing up a lung the whole time.

I do have a question for all of you - when you had your fresh transer, did you have to lay down for an hour or so? Or did you only lay down for a few minutes. I am doing research on it - and alot of clinics keep a patient down for roughly an hour. Yet, my clinic only kept me there for about 15 minutes. Just another thought that goes through my mind that might have made the difference.

As for ACU - what does your recommend? before? or after? or both?

Thanks - I am just thinking about a lot today - I am trying to stay positive just sometimes its hard. Thanks to all of you for being there.

Hi there

My lining was 7 on day 10 and not 10 on day 16.
As far as after the transfer...They have us sit in these reclining type chairs for about 15 minutes...not long at all and then we are free to go home..

As for ACU they suggested a few times before and 2 times on the day of..once before the transfer and once after. I am not sure I can do the before...may the day before I will and then right after.

Hi Ladies! I started Lupron yesterday, so I finally feel like I'me doing something productive...I hate waiting-have I mentioned that???

Kristen, I sure hope comes soon for you! If not, I would love to have you as my cycle buddy!

Maybeamommy- I am soooo jealous that you got to go to the beach (bloated and all!) I am so pale and need some sun! I'm not doing acupauncture either-you're not alone.

kcfclf.... my clinic had me lay for an hour in a fresh transfer and on my last fet cycle.. my acp.. does a seccion a day before the transfer and the day after but i wait till my second day.. i know its hard sometimes and we stress out and overthink every little thing but stay positive you will get your miracle and when ever you feel you need to vent just do so i think thats what we are here for to give each other support, remember you are not alone.

i just wanted to thank everyone on this thread you are all a blessing for me..my dh and i are in a new town just moved and i have no friends yet, so its hard to go through this alone , my family lives in the states and im all alone in mexico so i feel so grateful for having you ladies around, thankyou

Krissymexico...That's too funny! Ever since I started the estrogen patches, I can't keep my hands off my DH...maybe this is one of those side effects. Hehehe! On a side note, I love the beaches in Mexico...water is gorgeous.

KCFCLF...You probably already know this, but stay away from cold foods and milk products if you are having a sinus infection. Plus, load up on your vegetables. ((hugs))
With my IVF last summer, I laid on the table for about 30 minutes and then got up. Then, DH drove us home...2 hours away.

As for ACU - what does your recommend? before? or after? or both? She recommends both, but the day before and the day after. Tomorrow, I will see ACP and confirm what is going on.

Marthac...It must feel so good to get started. Does Lupron cause headaches for you?

Hi there

It's the Synaral nasal spray...I think since they said I did not ovulate yet it causes you to do so. I've done it the past two cycles and I think (if I remember right) took it two days before retrieval...which makes sense since I am transferring a 5 day embaby.

I made another appointment for acu on Thursday. I am going to find out how early they open on Monday to see if I can go that morning...if not I will go late Sunday.

Please keep me posted on your transfer date.

just got my results from my blood tests and all my hormones are were they are supose to be , i go tomorrow for my frist ultrasound...... i hope i do not need to take estrogen ill find out tomorrow from my re...

Had my US today to check my lining. The US tech said she was having trouble measuring it--which immediately I started having thoughts going through my mind that either it was not good, or she didn't know what she was doing! I heard her explaining to my RE outside the door that it was 8mm in places and 12mm in others. When he came in he said my uterus is tipped so they had a hard time seeing the trilaminar stripe, but that is ok, all looks great! Whew! Drew my E2, but did not hear the results of that. So, now I can stop the viagra suppos (praise the Lord), tomorrow eve is my last Lupron inj, and I start my projesterone in the am. My husband is out of town, so I will be tackling it myself! Should go fine I would think. Looks like we are a go for April 6!
