martha - i totally understand about not telling anyone. i for sure still do not have the glow..i'm the same..i am pale sometimes green!! seriously..not pretty. ususally i have a pretty good tan going right about now..lol! oh well, i'll get some sun soon. we are having may gray weather her in so cal and it is so dreary outside! it makes for a good afternoon nap though!
northeastgirl - i am sorry your m/s is back in full force...it's happening to me too! it's like it will go away for a bit, and then WHAM it's so bad. i was in bed yesterday from 1pm on and couldn't even barely move. it must be hard feeding dd....so many things make me gag! i want m/s gone too. with your dd, when did it go away for you? breakfast was nice with FIL and his wife..it was nice to chat and feel somewhat social again. i ate a big old breakfast and didn't feel bad after.

Mery: I know what you mean by green! LOL... I am like that too! With DD, the m/s was more severe, but it went away after 2 weeks (I had it from 6-8 week). Of course I had OHSS which is WAY worse than m/s so there were a lot of problems in that pregnancy... In a way (weird way) I prefer the way I feel right now, than the way I felt back then... On a different note, I am happy that you had fun with your extended family and you enjoyed your breakfast.
Hopeful: I wish I could go to Kooza. I've always wanted to see CdS, but the time that we went to Las Vegas to see them, the remaining tickets were $150/pp and we just couldn't justify the price... So we haven't watched any of the shows. Actually, once in a cruise, they had a sampling of Cirque du Soleil and it was fantastic, but it was 20 min long! 10 vials??? WOW... that's a lot! What were they checking??? I hope that after all that, they manage your condition well ![]() Afm: We went to a friends house for dinner yesterday. It was an adventure. I don't really like asparagus and my m/s was in full force last night. So, we get there and they had steak, potatos and asparagus! I almost gagged looking at that.... I had to eat it, but it was HARD!!! You see I had to find ways to not look in the plate while eating, and swallow fast, so that I would get minimal m/s... I had to excuse myself a few times. They probably thought I was nuts LOL... They don't know I am pregnant! NOT a fun night! Anyway, hope everyone has a great day...

Hi everyone !
I am new to the board and this is my first post ! I have just started my FET cycle and just started on Estrace today but when my RE nurse called me last night to tell me to start she also told me the results of my U/S that I had yesterday morning on day two of my period. She said my lining was already at 14mm !! I know that Estrace builds up your lining - isn't this bad that she's having me still try?!?!?!i would really really really love some advice or suggestions..... thank you everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

Whew! I'm back and My oh My so much has happened!
First, Martha CONGRATS and OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so very excited for you. Definately do as everyone has been telling you and take it easy! I'm sorry your m/s is so bad. I do understand! Hopeful - I'm glad your blood pressure is going down. I can't believe 10 vials of blood, don't they know your are preggers and need all your blood Northeast girl - I am so proud of you for making it through that dinner. I'm sorry your m/s is so bad. I can't imagine having to feed your daughter and yet wanting to do nothing but yack. I hear we won't have this forever. I've been hyperstimulated before too, and I would have to agree with you that m/s is far better than that. Mery - I'm sorry your m/s has been so bad. I actually have been feeling better wearing my maternity pants. The belly is really large, but I can fold it down and there hasn't been a lot of pressure on my stomach. I bought two pair of capri's and one pair of shorts for the trip. The shorts have the below the belly waist, but the other two have the large elastic around the belly. One of the two pair I got are so big, they kept falling the whole time I was wearing them. Maybe - We don't have a nickname for this bundle of joy. We are just very excited, but haven't even thought of calling it anything. The first several IVF's we called them all sticky in hopes that they would stick. I haven't taken any belly pics. I had a little of a belly when I started this process, so I didn't think it would show too much. I know later in the pregnancy it will definately show different. I was telling my hubby during our vacation that WOW I already look really preggers. I'm scared of what 5, 6, 7 months have in store of me, haha. That was an awesome certificate from your fertility doctor. Nascar - It sounds like you are doing good. I too have noticed my clothes are getting tighter. We too have been married a long time, in August it will be 12 yrs and I ask my hubby all the time, where did 12 yrs go. I still feel like we are newlyweds and I enjoy being married very much! I can't wait to stop meds either. I find out on Friday if I can stop progesterone. My RE took me off estrace two weeks ago, so it's been nice only having to worry about one med. (not including the prenatal) Chodori's - I'm glad to see you are doing good. I've never heard of those intelligender kits. How do they work? My hubby and I have been telling everyone we are not going to find out until delivery. During our vacation we were shopping with our inlaws for baby stuff (I'm not supersticious about not buying anything in the first trimester, since I've been buying stuff for my future childern even before I was ever married) and it was hard to find gender nuetral stuff at disney. We did find a couple things, but I asked hubby after we got back if he had changed his mind on knowing the sex early. I'm pretty sure we will wait, though. hollyb - I'm sorry but I don't have any advise. I do know if you are having your menstural cycle you will be sluffing off the lining that you currently have and building a new one. So LADIES from FLORIDA what was UP with that weather?!?!?!??!? I'm glad you guys were getting rain, I know you need it. It was crazy not being able to do much outside though with all the rain. The best day we had down there we couldn't do anything because we were in the hospital all day with my mother in law who had a heart cath. I wouldn't say our vacation was the most relaxing. We got off the plane and started towards our timeshare when my inlaws decided to break the news about the heart cath. While we were at the timeshare, they decided to break some more news that my father in law has a terminal lung disease. It was GREAT! I was a little annoyed and upset they waited until we got there to drop all this news on us. It would have been better to tell us prior to coming down. My hubby was so looking forward to a relaxing vacation and I wouldn't say it was relaxing for him. Other than those bumps, it was a pretty good week. I am glad to be home and back in my own house. I have been very tired (didn't sleep well down there) and so today I slept in, napped and will be going to bed soon. I'm not looking forward to going back to work, but than again it will be nice to have routine back. My m/s wasn't too bad during the week. It wasn't the greatest on the plane ride there or back, but otherwise didn't have it too bad. I had it pretty bad today, but I think I just waited too long between meals and didn't eat the greatest food. I was hoping it was going away since I didn't have it much last week. I am sorry the post was so long, I missed you guys and all of your support! I hope everyone is gearing up for another great week!

Holding: Welcome back... Indeed, it sounds like your vacation was not very relaxing. I am sorry about that. I agree that your inlaws should had told you guys before you got to FL... I am also glad that your m/s is better...
Martha!!! for feeling better!! ![]() Holly: I am sorry, I don't know what to tell you about your case... Good luck though with your cycle and plenty of afm, I was doing better today. M/s was minimal... I also told my SILs about the pregnancy and they were very happy! I am still a little worried (ideally I would have told them at 12 weeks) but my BIL bought mojitos over for all of us to drink! It was impossible to keep it a secret anymore... When I refused the mojitos, immediately they knew I was pregnant!!! Haha... I usually like my alcohol ![]() Anyway, have a great day everyone!

holding - yeah!! WECOME BACK!! we missed u!! well, that sounds like an eventful vacation, i am glad you were able to relax a bit and your m/s wasn't too bad. i was thinking about the plane ride and i already feel a little nauseous when i fly, so i'm sure that part wasnt' the best. sorry to hear about your fil and mil that is really awful. i will pray that they are feeling better. i bet your dh was very upset, and i probably would have wanted to know about it sooner too. maybe they thought it would be easier face to face. i am sorry you have to go back to work, but you're right, it will be good to be in your own bed! dh and i bought one little onesie for our little sweetie this weekend..i've always dreamed of doing that, and it was so totally cool and still surreal. we were saying wait, this is for my baby and not for a friends or relatives! we went to the ob on thursday and asked exactly when we can find out...we can't wait, he said in 8 more weeks i just have to know!!
i know the surprise element would be so amazing, but it will be impossible for us not to know! when is your next appt/u/s?? hollyb!!! i too don't really have any advice...but i know a lot of the girls on have so much awesome knowledge!! i wish you all the luck in the world and hope and pray you get your !! afm - i have another u/s and bloodwork monday morning. i think i only have maybe two weeks left at RE's. i am going to ask when i can stop PIO and vivelle patches...i hope soon!

Thanks Northeast Girl and Mery, I'm glad to be back.
Northeast - I can see how they got your there. When we went through the FET we weren't going to tell anyone about this treatment (I'm an open book and everyone has known about all the other treatments, but this one we decided not to tell). We didn't think the treatment was gonna work, so we didn't want to have to go through all the oh I'm sorry's. My sister called while we were in the process of the procedure and was trying to get us to narrow down a time with we could go to Hawaii with them. I told her that we couldn't travel in Dec or Jan because our jobs won't let us take time off during those two months. So she suggested November and I told her I didn't think we could. She wouldn't get my hints that I couldn't make plans like that at this time, so FINALLY I just came out and told her I hope to be too preggers to travel in November. She was so excited about the procedure and couldn't believe we didn't tell. Mery I know what you mean about wanting to know. I do to, but I am going to try not to until the birth. I want to know so bad too because I just want to get ready for whichever we have. I think we are going to have a girl because the heartbeat was so fast at our last u/s. Hubby saw a little girl probably about 2 or 3 yrs old in the airport and she had these tight little curls with redhair and he pointed her out to me saying, "that's what our little girl is going to look like" I have curly redhair too, so I think he thinks that's going to be the dominate trait in our kiddo. I told him, oh now you are convinced we are having a girl and he said yup. Time will tell....... I don't have another u/s until the ob says I need one. I have my first OB appt on Friday, unless somethings changed, they called while I was out of town so I have to call them tomorrow. Anyhow, it's exciting that you get to see the baby so much. I can't believe he/she was moving so much in your last one.

Good Morning!!
Holding - Welcome back! We missed you! Sorry you didnot have such a great vacation. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed! Wow 12 years married. My hubby and I know each other for 23 years! We dated, each got married, then wound up together! We are married one year...and times does fly! northeast - you are way stronger than me..I would have lossed it at dinner! Glad you are feeling a little better! Mery - I did not know about kissing them. I have not scooped poop or changed the box since Janaury...but my baby Tiki (he's only 7 months) Loves to snuggle and I did give him a kiss on the head so I gotta stop doing it! I'm a little behind today. Hubby started a new job today and needless to say it was a little chaotic in our home this morning. I ironed his clothes last night and got everything ready and he still was all over the place...I guess once he gets the routine down it will be better and I have to get used to him being up with me during my morning routine! as far as the blood work, they were checking for cf, and some other standard things, then I had to have another HIV work up done for the hospital otherwise they will not accept me and another urine analysis and who know what else LOL!!...Yesterday I was a complete and total crab on wheels...everything annoyed me and I napped twice..maybe too much sleep but I was really tired and cranky! I feel pretty good today...was a little nauseuas on the ride in..had a whacky bus driver...no appointments for me until next week...Monday is my nt scan and bloodwork, and something called ama...not sure what that is. Have a great day all!!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a good Monday! I feel OK. I think I am going to work 5 short days this week, instead of 4 longer days, so that I can leave if I feel sick! The hardest part for me is knowing what to bring for lunch, because as we all know, what sounds good one minute is gross the next. There is not really anywhere to go for lunch around here (I work in the middle of nowhere), so that is a little challenging. I just throw half of the refrigerator in my lunch bag and hope something sounds good to me!
Hollyb I don't know what to tell you about the estrace, but I hope this cycle is successful for you!!!Holding- BACK!!! I am so sorry about your MIL and FIL. I'm glad your m/s wasn't bad though. I think I would die on a plane right now! Glad you're back safely! Enjoy sleeping in your own bed.Mery-Isn't it fun buying baby stuff for our own baby and not someone else's for a change???...the day I found out, I bought 3 outfits (ironic, huh?)! Funny thing is that 2 are matching (but different patterns) and one is completey different. Wierd, huh? We too, will be finding out what we're having. No more surprises for us. Northeast- Mojitos are my FAVORITE!!! In fact, right before the FET, I had one last girl's night out for mojitos...they were soooo good! Hopeful-sounds like you have been very busy! My poor DH has so many pants that need to be ironed too, but I just don't feel like it. I will try to do it tonight...I'd hate for him to be wrinkly! Good luck to your DH on the new job!

has anyone had a myomectomy or a polyp removal? I just had both (in Jan and May) I am wondering if the surgeries had something to do with my lining not shedding properly. My AF's since Jan barely last 3 dys i only one full day of heavy flow.

northeastgirl - mojitos..YUMMY! yes, you definately had to let the cat out of the bag! i am glad your m/s is better..that is always a relief!
holding - how cute...a little baby girl with red curls!! i just have this feeling we are having a boy. i looked a the chinese gender calculator on line and it said boy...i guess we will see in another couple of months. as long as our baby is healthy and happy, that is all i care about!! hopeful - i am glad you are feeling better today too! you and dh will get a routine down by the end of the week..i'm sure of that!! when i went to ob on thursday they took 3 vials. i go back to ob in two weeks, maybe they will take more then. i think this was just an OB panel and some they took some urine too. there are times when i get so cranky too, it's all of the lovely hormones!! i love snuggling with kitties too, just no kissing!! martha - that sounds like a good idea about the 5 shorter days. it's so funny when you talk about lunch because we cannot plan lunches OR dinners at our house..totally impossible. i'm the same way, i bring like 20 snacks and different foods and just pray one of the is appetizing! alot of the foods i used to really like, i cannot stand now! holly - i have never had any of what you listed..sorry! afm - had another u/s this morning with RE..only 2 more appointments left with him. he said i get to stop PIO and vivelle patches this sunday!! WOOHOO!!! only 6 more days..i was so excited when he told me that! i will miss seeing him everyweek because i love to get an u/s everyweek! my regular ob called me this morning and told me that all of the bloodwork they took on thursday looked perfect, but that i didn't have a vaccine for German measles??? he said that after the baby arrives, they will give that to me in the hospital..i never even knew they tested for stuff like that! he also said that if i see a child with any kind of rash, to be sure to steer very clear of them! i attached a picture of little sweetie...he is getting bigger..measuring 10w3d!!
