Hey...

Nascar: Trust me, I know how you feel. I was at the Grocery store the other day, and I almost tossed my cookies, just by looking at the loose onions on the counter. Go figure, they don't even smell!!! I had to run to a different section to avoid dry heaving!

Holding: I was thinking about getting a fetal doppler with my DD, but I ended up starting to feel her more around 15.5weeks. After that, I just enjoyed the movements and never got it. This time around, I am thinking about it again, but I am so close to the 15/16 week mark (when I hope to start feeling movement) that I will not get it. But trust me, I am sure it comes handy to be able to hear the HB and feel ok.

Martha: Happy ANNIVERSARY!!! That's great. In the future, you'll be able to say, that you had three kids, before your 3rd annniversary! That's exciting. Go girl with the insurance!!! I really dislike insurances. They are there to make money off of us, nothing else!

Afm: It's official. I was at my OB's office again today, and he confirmed that he received the results and are positive for fifth disease. So, I am starting with the first u/s on Thursday, and from then on, there will be one more around week 17 and one more around 22 weeks. I have no idea how many more, but there will be more and all of them will be level 2 u/s. He is actually sending me to a maternal fetal specialist. The u/s on thursday, will examine NT along with other things... I am relieved that he is proactive about this. I want to make sure that the baby will be fine!...

Martha- Happy anniversary! I hope you feel well enough to go out tonight. I hope you get some bucks back from the insurance...that would be a nice starter fund for the kiddies!

Northeast - I am sorry you have to go through this...at least you have a supportive doc who is going to take good care of you!!

Ugg..I just typed a big long thing and then lost it all....Let's see

Martha - Congrats on your 2nd Anniversary!

Northeast girl - We are so sorry that you have this disease, but I'm so glad you have such a GREAT OB. Is a level 2 u/s the 3-D kind?

Mery - the NT scan looked great. Congrats on the most likely boy.

Nascar - I know how hard smells can be, I can't believe how much our senses have changed. I'm glad you feel good.

Hopeful - I can't believe that in 6 months we will all have babies.

so asm...Let me start by telling you guys how much I HATE DRAMA!!!! With the doctor stuff and what I'm about to tell you guys I feel like my life is FULL of drama. Which I normally avoid like the plague. Anyhow, so I am out of vacation/sick time. I can't help that between doing an IVF and the FET I went through most all of my paid time off. I wasn't too concerned because I know I have FMLA. Well I was told by HR to use my FMLA I have to have the doctor feel out the "certification" paperwork, so I have my doctor fill it out yesterday when I went to see him. He put on there that this "started" April 8th the day I was officially "pregnant" through 9 months. Well HR said this would not work because it did not "specify" the dates I was just out with the headaches, so I have to get a doctor's note that says the dates I was out for FMLA. On the "certification" the doctor said that I would be out intermittantly for m/s and headaches. The HR person said that wasn't good enough because it didn't say the "specific dates" I would be out for these problems. I was like WHAT? How am I suppose to know when I'm going to wake up with a headache that is too severe to work? So then she goes on to tell me that I have to have a DOCTOR's Note EVERY time I'm out in order to put it towards FMLA. I'm like WHAT? You don't go to the doctor everytime your off. WHY would I go back to the doctor if I wake up with a migraine tomorrow morning? He has already said there isn't anything he can do! UGH. If my house was closed on I would quit now. This is for the birds! She had the gall to acuse me of just deciding not to go into work and that's not appropriate to go towards FMLA. I was like whatever, you have no idea how many times I've come into this horrible job when I felt like crap! When I puked my brains out and had to change clothes, I still showed up for work. It's one thing to feel like cramp and try to make it through the day and have a migraine and have to stare at a computer screen the entire day. I read to her the Federal regulations to her and how it says that during pregnancy you might be out without going to a doctor and she was like, well we reserve the right to require recertification (a doctor's note) everytime I'm out. She even read the stupid paperwork I had to sign that says, They reserve the right to have recertification any time on a reasonable basis. I wanted to scream, what makes you think it's reasonable for me to have to go to the doctor when they can't do a darn thing for me?!?!?!?

Anyhow, sorry to rant and rave. I can't wait to talk to the new ob on July 1st and see what they can do to help with this work problem. Maybe they will just fax me a doctor's note each time I have to be out. This is ridiculous.

northeastgirl - ok...well, at least you got the diagnosis and you can move forward with the ultrasounds...it sounds like you have an awesome ob that will be monitoring you very closely which is wonderful...still sucks to have to go through this, but i know you will be just fine! what is a level 2 u/s??

holding - WOW..you're right, drama sucks! it sounds to me like you have some pretty crappy HR people! i work in HR, but not on the benefits side. i was under the impression though, that if you are out for a chronic condition under FMLA, you did not need to get a doctor's note every single time you are gone. i think you would probably need to check in with the doc here and there just so they know your condition still exists, but a note everytime, doesn't sound realistic!!!! i am sure once you go to the new ob, they will just fax you a note when you are out....who wants to go out with a migraine...that's the whole point of staying home! hang in there!!!

Happy Wednesday! Thank you for the anniversary wishes! DH and I decided to go out to dinner on Sunday, since I felt bad yesterday and he got home from work late.

Northeast-At least you get to be monitored closely and you get a lot of u/s, so you can see your baby lots! I don't know what a level 2 u/s is either...

Holding- I am sorry about your work woes...I hope they get a clue. If not, having the doctor fax the excuse may not be too much of a hassle.

Mery- yes, I finally have a pooch and it's getting bigger fast. I have a wedding to go to on Sat. and I don't know what I'll wear b/c nothing really fits. No one there will know I'm either. Oh, on top of that, it is an OUTDOOR wedding in Arkansas at 4 pm (in the prime of the midday heat) and the temp has been between 95-100 degrees this week! I may have to cancel...

martha - happy wednesday to you too! yeah, that's a tough call on the wedding. that is going to be very hot for you right now...i guess you'll just have to see how you feel that day. i think the heat makes m/s worse, at least for me it did, so you need to be careful. i know..i look at my cute jeans and they sure do not fit me anymore...they fit everywhere else but not the tummy and i cannot wear that belly band because it makes me too hot and clausterphobic! maybe you can just go to the reception? or is that outside too? it's supposed to heat up here in so cal this weekend too! when are you planning on telling everyone you are pg with triplets?? that's going to be sooooooo cool!!!

i hope everyone has a great hump day! i am sooo tired still, cannot seem to get rid of this tiredness! i had the craziest dreams again last night..just so bizarre!!! i am off this friday and no appointments so i am just going to rest all weekend to rejuvinate..i need it!!!

NorthEastGirl...It sounds like you have a proactive doctor. Being a teacher, I wonder how many germs I come in contact every day. Yikes! Currently, I am taking a prenatal vitamin and Expecta Lipil (DHA supplement).

Holdingmybreath...The entire situation is crazy! Is there someone else who can help you? Maybe someone with a heart. That is ludicrous to get a doctor's note every time that you are out. Come on! Stay strong and do not let that person bring you down!

Marthac...Yesterday, I went to buy bigger bras. Cup size change and bra size change. Next, I am going to have to buy bigger underwear. In the end, it is for a good cause.

Hopeful12...You want to hear something funny, when you mentioned about fried chicken, I can sorta smell it. Oh no!

Holding: It's ridiculous to be expected to go to to the Dr. every time you are out. Talk to your Dr. and I am sure that they will be able to write something and fax it to you or HR... How stupid!

Nascar: Before my first pregnancy I was a 34C... By the end of the first pregnancy I was a 36 DD... It drove me crazy! With this pregnancy I started with a 36DD and I need to go buy something a little bigger! You see I was Breastfeeding up until I started Lupron, and then I got pregnant. My poor bbs never got a chance to go back down to their original size! I just don't want to know what size I will end up with this pregnancy... LOL...

Mery: For some reason I am not having any dreams. I go to bed and I drop dead! I wake up again the next morning and repeat the cycle. DD does not leave me any time to contemplate on anything!

Martha: Outdoor wedding in that heat might be a little hard. Of course, having said that, I would take 95 degrees over 59 degrees that we had over here today! Also, I would take a little sun, because I haven't seen the sight of it, for a few weeks! Actually, we saw the sun for a little bit last Saturday and since then nothing. The weather people are saying, that a miracle will happen tomorrow and we'll see the sun again ... Can you tell I am bitter about this fall (oh... I mean Summer??)..

Cathi: If I am correct, today was your NT scanning... How was everything? I am sure everything went great!

Afm, besides b#%@ing about the weather, I am anxiously waiting for the appt tomorrow. It's a check on the baby and the NT scan. A level 2 u/s is a very detailed u/s usually done at a hospital. I had one done with my DD, when the regular u/s had shown some cysts in her head, and I was amazed at the amount of detail they can see with these u/s. Also, I think they can do some 3D pictures as well at the same time... I can't wait for that. Hopefully, they will be able to see the sex, even though I am not sure about it...

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well....

HI Girls, Yes I had my N/T scan today...it was perfect...the doctor likes it to be under three and my little over achiever was .7 well under 1...so we are in good shape...our little one measured 11w5d...right on target. HB 169....he/she was jumping up and down, and waved at us...so cute....No sex yet, maybe next time...I go back in 3 weeks....I am also getting a cerclage in 2 weeks...

I also had to get new bras today...36E WTH...I couldn't believe it, SO glad I did..they are so much more comfy....last pregnancy I only needed bra extenders, not this time....I never even had nursing bras.. I got these ones at Maternity Motherhood....so they are nursing bras...my hubby did not know what the clips were for...needless to say...he thinks they are the coolest thing...I tried to tell him they are for the baby and not him...it fell on deaf ears...lol

NorthEast...Good luck tomorrow, Such a cool time...enjoy every minute...

Mery, Definately go a cup size bigger, i couldn't believe it when she had me try an E on...I was floored it actually fit..I'm sure I will be an F by nursing time...

Yes I need a Cerclage, My cervix is incompentent....That is why I lost my triplets...So to be on the safe side I will get a preventative one on 7/8....It is a crappy surgery...I have to get a spinal for it...I just pray they get it on the first try, last time it took 4 pokes...way more painful than the actual procedure...So say a little prayer everything goes smoothly I will be on modified bestrest the rest of the pregnancy...Thank god at my job we have a sick leave pool...I will be able to use it while I am out. so I will still receive my pay and benefits...what a weight off my shoulders....

NORTHEAST Good Luck today

Good Morning!!

cathi -great news! I'm sure you were so excited to see your little one!
Good luck with the Cerclage...I will keep you in my prayers!

mery The bra thing is getting tough for me...I was a 36D regularly...I got a 36DD and not sure where to go from there...I am ok in the am but by the time I go home I'lm falling out all over...I think I'm going to try JCPenney or Macys to see what the next size is...I did the Victoria Secret DD, but I don't want to spend too much. They are monsters right now...I can't wait for my tummy to grow and be bigger then they are LOL!!

Northeast - Good Luck today! I will be thinking of you!

Nascar - ummmmm fried chicken...I'm drooling at 10am LOL! Hubby was a sweety and picked me up from the ferry last night...he proceeded to tell me that he ate 10 White Castles yesterday..I don't like them so no biggy...then we were at a light near Mickey D's an they were frying up some frys...I so want a Big Mac...I've been doing ok..but I have my moments!

holding - I've never heard of such crap! My ex was a disability king (one reason for the 'ex') and when he was on FMLA they only asked for a note the first time we went out...other than that he would tell them that it was a day due to the FMLA...can the doc give you notes without dates on them and you then just fill the date in?

Do you have a Maternity Motherhood near you? They have bras to fit us ever growing girls, and they are cheap..Like 11.00 to 20.00...I usually only wear victoria secret bras, but also refuse to spend 50-80.00 on something i will only wear for a few months...Plus the maternity bras are very comfy..I also picked up a Slepping bra..I wore it last night..very comfy...I know they also are online if you do not have a store locally..u may want to go into an E or maybe even an F

Hi Cathi

Don'tyou love the sleeping bra...I got one about a month ago and since got a few more...I love them and it's so supportive at night when you are trying to turn over...not as sexy as a VS but it's ok...the Motherhood by me only had to DD...everytime I go in they say they are getting more cause they sell out...I gues there are a lot of us well endowded chickies..I will check them again this week-end cause I am in need!

Have a great day!

cathi - i will for sure be praying for you! absolutely!!! i know you will be just fine! it doesn't sound like fun, but thank goodness you know what to do this time around. that's great you have the sick leave pool. what is modified bedrest??? are they doing that because of your last pregnancy, or because of the cerclage..just curious??

northeastgirl - good luck today!! how did it go?

hopeful - i am even going to go to sears to look for maternity pants...i am just having the roughest time right now finding pants for work! i still cannot do red meat...i can look at it now, but cannot even taste it...so weird when i used to love a good steak! and dh made these little baby lobsters and i love lobster..i could barely even taste a bite...so funny!

as far as bras go, i got the most comfortable maternity/nursing bra at the Gap Maternity. it's soft and cotton and is awesome...i think it was like $30..i am going tomorrow to get another one, just in a bigger size!!

i'm pretty sure my m/s is almost completely gone, now i am just ALWAYS HUNGRY! i'll eat something, then 20 minutes later...hungry again....it's hard. i have been drinking a ton of water to try and fend of the hunger pains and still eating the small meals all day. i guess my little guy is an eater!!!
