holding - I am so glad youwere about to see your little one! It's so hard to not see them more often. My next u/s is not til 7/31..ugg..that is the anatomy scan.

doc recommended half of a benadryl to see if it can "assist" in staying asleep. He said anxiety is totally normal and not to freak myself out anymore to think there is something worng/different. He also said the since I am weening and almost done with he prometrium and estrace that my hormones are probably doing it. I joked and said usually a glass of wine would do the trick, he laughed (he is Italian) and said he wish he could recommend that for all his nervous/anxious patients...he made me feel better, but I did get up at 12am and 3am. Hubby was up at 12 so he was asking me a lot of questions, but I told him that since he was up I think I am ok and took about 15 mins to go back to sleep...at 3 I was up for about a half hour...but calmed myself.

Northeast - yea...rain...yea...it rains every single day here in NYC...I hate it too...it is so so depressing! A B&B sounds so nice right now.....have you ever gone to Cape May...it's so relaxing there! Enjoy it!!

northeastgirl - enjoy your weekend at the b&b..sounds soooooooooo awesome!! i am waiting for my little guy to kick..i want to feel it too! i HATE not having u/s every week..it's been difficult, but i know it's impossible! i really hope the weather clears up and you have a sunny beautiful weekend!

holding - so glad you are pretty much headache free...and you got to see the little one moving all over..that is SOOO COOL! it is very emotional to see the baby! hope today you are headache free too!!

hopeful - i'm glad you got some answers from your doctor. it probably is the hormones, they can do some crazy stuff to you. when i was just sick dh had garlic and i could smell it soooo bad i just cried. i am sure the benadryl will work great!

afm - i am back at work today and feeling much better..i must have had a flu or something. i am sooo happy that it is a 3 day weekend. there is a huge parade in huntington beach on the 4th of July, the biggest west of the mississippi, so we will do that and just hang out. i will try to push some our sunny weather to the east so you can all enjoy it too! have a great "FRIDAY" everyone!!!

Holding-Yes, I did have a LEEP about 5 years ago, so I am curious to see if it is OK in size. RE said it looked very long, which is good. I am so glad you are feeling better! Congrats on seeing your baby!

Hopeful- I hope you are able to sleep through the night soon. I wake up once or twice in a night. Sometimes I fall back asleep and sometimes I don't...

Northeastgirl- Enjoy your bed and breakfast! That sounds soooo relaxing and wonderful!

AFM- I can't wait for the weekend! I hope I feel good enough to clean the house...my in-laws will be here next week. We also plan on telling all of our family and friends that we are this weekend (only a few select people know!) I am officially off progesterone suppositories and estrace as of today and I am sooo happy about that! Have a great 4th of July weekend!!!

Hopeful...Congratulations on coming off the meds. I am so sorry to hear about the sleeping. I do notice the last few nights, I've been not sleeping as well as I should. Last night, little one was moving around and I thought it was gas. So, I got up and had a glass of milk and turned on the news. Eventually, I got back to sleep, but definitely not well rested.

Marthac...Congratulations on coming off the meds. I noticed that my energy level went up a week after the meds.

Holdingmybreath...I love getting u/s. I remember hearing my baby's heart beat and my heart melt. Very amazing.

NorthEastGirl...Send the rain down to Florida. Today, DH and I went walking on the beach and boy, it was hot. We even saw dolphins off shore...gorgeous.

nascar - you are already feeling the little bean..that is sooo cool! nothing yet for me..i'm just waiting for that! i cannot wait!! the walk on the beach sounds great!!

afm - just let me ask....how many of you have HEARTBURN? it came on last night and today just for a little bit, but really was the WORST and weirdest pain..it went from my chest, to my back and then my throat just burned..took some tums and i was better after about a half hour.

i bought the Snoogle Pillow from babies r us and it's a little weird getting used to, but it does help support my back, which i need.

I have lurked on here a long time. I am waiting on donor embryos right now. I got hooked on the boards in november during my last FET. but I want to tell you Mery it could be Gallbladder. I had that with my first. not much you can really do but at least you might know what it is.
Martha Congratulations!!! I have triplets that are 3yo they are great!! I would do it again!

chodori's_angel - I was wondering about you. I'm glad you are doing good. I know what you mean about being so tired between work and this. I haven't cleaned in 3 months. Today was the day though, I've gotten the bathroom somewhat cleaned, the laundry room and some of my living room cleaned. I can't wait to have it all cleaned again. I have lots of energy in the morning, but not in the afternoon or evening.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. We woke up to sun and it's been sunny most all morning today. We are very excited about it!

Nascar you can have all the rain we've been having. The last sunny week we had here was the week we spent in Florida when it was raining the whole week we were down there. You can imagine how much we want sun here.

Hopeful - I hope you can find away to get some sleep. I woke up the other day at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep either. I wasn't having anxiety although I was having a strange dream before I woke up.

Mery - I too have been having indigestion. Between that and the m/s my tummy is upset a lot.

Chodori's_angel...Your ears must have been ringing. I was wondering how you were doing. The 1st trimester kicked my butt.

Holdingmybreath...Last night, "little one" was moving around. I asked my DH to put his hand on my tummy to see if little one would settle down. Sure enough, it worked.

Mery71...My heartburn comes and goes. But, I have a lot of gas right after I eat. Also, I get a headache after I eat. It does not make since to me. One of the pregnancy books I was reading says that during week 14 baby might actually be sprouting some hair. Also, eyebrow hair is filling in now, as is body hair called lanugo. According to the book, it says not to worry. This downy coating of hair is there to keep our babies warm for now. Could this be the reason for heartburn? I truly don't know.

AFM...Today, I must work out in the garden. My flowerbed is turning into a weed bed. I'm so embarrass.

hi!! i hope everyone had a relaxing and fun 4th of july weekend!!! ours was great..we just hung out by the pool all weekend and really relaxed. the weather was in the low to mid 80's..i just imagined all of us having babies that our 6-7 months old next year for the 4th!

hubby and i went to look at cribs and baby furniture on friday and it was so much fun. i got emotional a couple of times, because i just could not believe we were really looking at all this cool stuff for our baby!! we saw a crib that we loved that we will for sure get..it's perfect! we also saw the bedding we want, they are pirates with palm trees and pirate ships. dh fell in love with it and so did I! it's so bright and fun for a little a boy! we saw it online, but never would pick it by looking online..it's so much cuter in person! our current office will be the babies room, so we are moving the office to one of our other bedrooms..everytime I walk by the office I just imagine a little baby in there....it's sooo cool!

we have ob appt this friday and i am sure we will schedule the anatomy scan then.

Hope everyone had a great week-end!

Hubby had to work all week-end but he got out a little earlier...so he was home on the 4th by 6.

Mery - we are looking at furniture too! My mom and I were looking yesterday but we both want hubby to be involved...he and I are both off on Wednesday- so we are going to look then...I saw something I know I want LOL! Pirates are so cool!! We are looking at monkeys! I love the set they have at Babies R Us.

nascar - I so know the heartburn! I eat atleast 4 tums a day especially at night. I read about the hair and heard it has been proven that babies with lots of hair will give momma heartburn. Neither one of us are hairy but his sister and my brother are so it's onthe genes.

holding - Thanks for asking but still having sleeping issues...I am at my wits end. I am calling the doc again today. I am curious if the blood pressure meds maybe doing something...I am off the prometrium and estrace for a week so I do not think it's that. On Friday night I had an attack during diner and had a bit of a breakdown and could not stop crying...hubby tried to make a joke..Oh you need a strink...but I just got more upset. I tried to explain what I was feeling, but it's so hard cause it's just fear. I guess what I do not like is that fact that now it is happening during the day...I stayed up til 11:30 last night hoping I would sleep through the night...nope ...up at 3 sweating and confused. Oh well we will see what the doc says.

Hello ladies....

I have been MIA due to our vacation. We went to Maine (Bar Harbor) and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. The only problem was that we had our DD with us and that complicated things. An 11 month old, is not easy to take with you for vacations! Besides that though, it was very nice. Kind of far from Boston (about a 5 hour drive) but well worth it...

On the pregnancy front, I have finally started to feel the baby move. It's been about 3 days now. It's very slight and feels like gas, but it's not. it's so exciting... In about 3 weeks I have the anatomy scan. I can't wait!

Hope everyone had a great July 4th weekend. It sucks to be back to work though!!!
