hopeful - i love the monkey set at babies r us too..that one is SOOO cute!! i am so sorry your sleep issues continue..that stinks! i hope you get some answers from the doc today!! that doesn't sound like fun!

northeastgirl - your vacation sounded great..and your right, back to work sucks! i barely made it out of bed today..LOL!! i thought i felt the baby move on saturday...and then again last night...i had dh feel my tummy and he said he felt it too! i didn't know if it was too early yet, but now I know it's not if you are feeling baby!! how cool!! i know that puts your mind at ease a bit!

Mery, you are def. not too early to feel the baby move/kick. I felt my DD at 15wks 3 days... and it was a pretty strong kick (they get wayyyy stronger as time goes by!). This pregnancy around I felt the first move at 13wks 6 days but it was not a kick, is was just a slight movement. As the days go by I am sure it'll feel more like a kick...

Mery - I was going to go kinda no theme but I saw those monkeys and feel in love...I figured they are non gender so I would be ok...gotta wait til one to call the doc...I usually have no trouble sleeping at all..weird for me.

northeast - sounds like you had a great vaca! but yea back to work really bites. I worked on Friday, got out early and got calls at home til 5:30...but at least I was home!

I've got a week coming up that I am off (7/20)...hubby's gat a state exam he needs/has to pass...so I will be home helping him study..I'm a drill sargaent and he needs that!!

On Friday night during my breakdown I felt something twice and wondered if it was the baby...kind of a nudge..like calm down I'm in here...it was kinda cool...since we do not get the sonos so much anymore it is a nice reminder like hey I'm ok.

northeastgirl - ok..cool..then it is not my mind playing tricks on me!!! i really cannot wait to feel it more and more. i am super excited about that! especially since there are no more u/s every week, it does make me feel better.

hopeful - i wasn't going to do any theme either, but we saw this and it is just too cute. the monkeys are perfect for a gender nuetral nursery!! i'm sure it was you feeling the baby too!

Well I am off to the doc...I called and they said to come in...I'll keep you posted as to what might be going on...I got so upset before and I think it's because I am not sleeping so well, but hubby hounded me all day to call the doc...I do and he got mad I have to go in...I'm dammed if I do and dammed if I don't I am currently not speaking with him cause he is a poop head!

Good luck at the Doctor....I hear ya on the DH thing..mine is wonderful 99% of the time...but he has his moments and I have hormones....Maybe ask for ambien...I took it last pregnancy while I was in the hospital it was a LIFE saver

Northeast girl - I'm glad Maine was relaxing. We hung out at home, but I sure did enjoy just hanging. I was able to clean for the first time in months.

Hopeful - I know you are the docs now, but I wanted to say, remember the story I told you about my friend who was put on the meds for nausea and how she went nuts. It very well could be the meds for BP. I hope the doc has some good ideas for ya.

Mery I've been thinking about lot about maybe too. I hope she's lurking and lets us know things are going.

asm, other than the morning sickness today things have gone pretty good. We are gearing up for the house sale, hopefully this goes smoothly. I know what ya'll mean about going back to work today, I didn't want to get out of bed either. I want another long weekend next weekend (too bad it won't be happening). I have another vacation coming up in September, this time we are going to see my family in Texas. We can't wait.

holding - i am glad you got to clean...yeah! i hope your headaches are not coming back. i will pray that your house sale goes smoothly....my scheduled friday off is this friday so i will have another 3 dayer thank goodness! i do not have any vacations scheduled so i need these 3 day weekends!

Hi all

Just got back from the doc and a wake ... long night..but doc said to chill out! Heard the heartbeat and bp is great. He said the hormones can be doing it. He wants me to know see a cardiologist, but I just had a an ekg so I know I am ok...So he said I need to stop worrying..we will see how tonight goes

Mery- Thanks for asking...yes cerclage surgery is tomorrow...I am getting a little nervous, but will be a little happier once it is in place..

Hopeful---I know It probably doesn't make you feel any better, but i too have problems at night, mind racing and things. i too worry very much about this pregnancy especially the further along I get, because of what happened last year...I try to do breathing tecniques...breathe in deep through your nose and out through your mouth like you are blowing out into a small straw...It really relaxes me then I try to clear my head, or focus on something else besides the baby or my day, sometimes i count..before I get to 20 I am usually fast asleep...because of my bladder I am also up several times a night...I just joke that its the babys way of getting me on a feeding schedule...I know it is tough, but the dr is right try to relax a bit...use us as your sounding board for all of your stress thats why we are here....Good luck

Oh yeah...I know some of you are getting dopplers and things...My hubby and I have a stethascope (sp) we got from his sister who is a nurse...It is not expensive and we get to lay in bed and listen to the little one swimming around..We did it with the triplets and again this time...we did it last night and it was so awesome, except my hubby doesn't like to share...so he got to listen more...I figure I get to feel the flutters he gets to listen more. Anyways it is a great way to get the Dh's involed plus I love hearing the lil one swooshing around and even tapping on the stethascope when I push in a little...anyways just wanted to share...Have a great day

The stephascope is a good idea...hubby has one for work too but he doesn't bring it home cause he is worried he'll forget it...I'm gonna make him get it on Thursday...he has been studying like crazy for his state exam. Thank you for your encouragement..sometimes I feel like it's just me that feels these things and it is great to know I am not the only one. My ob talked with us for about an hour and he did make me feel better...he said anytime I am nervous or need to chat to come in and we can listen to the heartbeat and talk about what is bothering me...he also said to stop reading all the "junk" on the internet...he said he has been an ob for over 30 years..he knows better LOL!

Oh I have a question...did any of you go for the 2nd blood test for the NT...I did not know there was a 2nd blood test...I need to go this week since I am in week 16...

cathi - thank you so much for the stethescope idea!dh wanted a doppler, but i just thought it was too expensive. we will get a stethescope for sure! how cool that you can hear all of that stuff in there..i cannot wait to get one!!! have a peaceful day today..tomorrow will go smoothly!!!

hopeful - i have an OB appt this friday, so i will be scheduling the 2nd blood test along with anatomy scan then. your doc is right..just try and relax and you will be fine...i know it is probably easier said than done. sometimes i do wake in the night and think about a million things. i have been trying to stay away from the internet..just looking at the pregnancy week and that's it...otherwise it could drive you nuts!

afm - i found a gal here in our area that i am going to sell my leftover meds to which is nice since we had to pay out of pocket for everything..it will be nice to recoup a little bit of the money. i am giving her a good discount, because we all know how it is!!! i thought i felt baby fluttering again last night...kick baby kick!!!

afm - well, i got home from work tonight and had swollen ankles...they are ugly!!! i had a training class today and sat in a flat hard seat so i think that is why...i was sitting for a few hours straight and couldn't get up.

I am here!!! I have been very tired the past couple of days and I was unable to post. I have been doing great, but today I am a little worried. I haven't felt the baby move at all and with everything with fifth disease I am afraid that something happened.... I am paranoid!

Fertility!!!! Congratulations!!! We were thinking about you....

Maybe: I was also thinking about you. We haven't heard anything in a while and I was wondering if everything is well...

Cathi: How did it go? I am sure you are resting and relaxing right now! Let us know how you feel....

Mery: I know what you mean about swollen legs. I took off my wedding band a couple of days ago, and I'll put it on, sometime around new years! It doesn't fit anymore!

Hopeful: yes I did the 2nd blood test for the NT scan with my first one. I will be doing it again with this one. I am glad that your Dr. said that everything is ok. I remember with my first one waking up in the middle of the night, and not being able to go back to sleep. I think it's absolutely normal to have that. Now, I am just plain exhausted and I drop like a log! It's a stage and you'll go back to sleeping through the night....

Holding: Good luck with the sale of your house. It's such a stressful thing! I am sure it'll go smoothly. Also, I am hoping that your m/s is gone by now.... You're almost there!!!
