Hi everyone -

northeast - can you please send the sandman my way LOL!

mery - put your feet up! It is yucky looking but part of being preggo...My left is always more swollen then the right...don't know why.

I took yesterday off to try and relax a bit..easier said than done, but at least I did not have to deal with work. Had the 2nd draw of the NT yesterday...not biggy right...just a blood test.
On Tuesday night hubby and I went for a nice 1 hour walk...I think it helped me sleep. Last night was another story...I was up from 12:30 to 3 then had to get up at 5 for work. Hubby said maybe little buga is getting me prepared for when she/he arrives. I just wish I could get whatever is bothering me out of my head. I think it may have to do with MIL and her nonsense, which has not changed much, still slamming draws and leaving a mess, a drop in the iced tea jug, no paper towels or toilet paper on the rolls, and not even a scoop of coffee in the container ..we always have a few containers in the closet..I just hate the laziness...I do not even drink coffee she does all day. I am just so frustrated by her unappreciativeness...Yesterday morning when I got up I said to hubby I didn't make coffee today, sorry...not realizing she already did...she turned around and quite nastily said what's the matter my coffee is not good enough? She has been having issues with my two SILs but DO NOT take it out on me...I did not ask you to come stay here you asked! So on the way to the doc hubby started the conversation saying wow that was weird...I said to him put up with it all week-end while you are at work...he said he noticed it a little but never that bad. He claims he is going to chat with her again...he also said that maybe she can go to an adult community or something...she cannot afford much that is why she is with us now...ugggggg!

Good Morning, Sorry I didn't get on the computer yesterday I was very tired. The surgery was done yesterday. My dr did the best he could, unfortunately my cervix already started to shorten. He got the cerclage in but is unsure if it will hold. He is going to monitor me weekly and if there is any change he will put in an abdominal cerclage. So I am on strick bedrest for the duration. To top it all of I had an allergic reaction to the cream the had me insert before the surgery so I am very itchy and swollen...not very fun.

I am holding up well. my Hubby is taking great care of me. I will just have to do things to keep my mind busy...

cathi - i am glad he got the cerclage in....i know you will rest for the duration....and everything will work out great for you. after all that you have been through, you deserve this. i am glad hubby is taking care of you. keep your mind busy and time will go by! keep us posted!!!

northeastgirl - i know your baby is fine!!! we are still early and i know he is just swimming around having the time of his life! when is your next ob appt? mine is tomorrow. i too get paranoid sometimes, but try and quickly change my mindset. at the end of the day i too get very tired, although a lot of my energy has seem to come back and m/s is all gone as long as i eat every couple of hours. my wedding ring is stuck and i may have to cut it off, which pains me. i am going to try ice this weekend.

hopeful - i am sorry you are still having to deal with MIL..that really doesn't sound like fun. yes, dh needs to speak to her again...you should be enjoying this time and not stressing!!! it's not fair to you! i know she is family but you need to do what is right you and dh! when you have a lot on your mind, it is hard to sleep, absolutely! just try and relax this weekend...the walking sounds great.

afm - well, i have tomorrow off...yippee...and my ankles were a bit better when i woke up, now they are swollen..they are sooo pretty..LOL!!! i have my feet up at my desk, so i hope this helps me. i know it is a part of being pg, so i'll just go with it! they said the pool helps, so i will swim this weekend. it is getting really hot here and supposed to be in the mid 90's so i am sure this isn't helping my cankles!!!

Cathi - I'm glad you were able to get the procedure done. I it stays put. I know the bedrest will be hard, but it will so be worth it when all is done.

Hopeful - that situation really sucks! My hubby is such a mama's boy we get into fights almost time we talk about her. The other day we were talking about his mother and her not coming for the babies birth (she hasn't seemed excited about coming for the babies birth from the beginning, but now with the heart stuff she's using this as an excuse), it doesn't bother me that she's not coming, but Mike really wants her here. I hope things will get better there. I also wake up several times at night. Fortunately, I'm able to go back to sleep, but it's driving me crazy being up 4 and 5 times a night, it just makes me exhausted. Someone also suggested to me that the baby is getting me ready for being sleep deprived.

Mery - I too had to take my rings off, it's felt weird not wearing them. I haven't had them on my fingers for about two weeks. Before you get it cut off, try oil or lotion, both work pretty good. You can do the ice and then put oil or lotion on your finger.

Northeast girl - I understand your apprehension, but I'm sure the baby is doing good. I also understand being tired all the time. I come home from work and we have to figure out what to eat for dinner and yet I'm so exhausted. We can't go out anymore because we have to save money for the closing. Crazy I'm selling the house and I'm paying more at the closing then I paid at the closing of the house I bought last year.

asm, we're doing good. I still have m/s and I'm tired all the time. Otherwise things are great.

holding - that stinks you still have m/s! it should be going away soon...i will it goes away very soon. i only feel sick when i don't eat now. i hope your house sale is going smoothly!!

afm - when i wake up my ankles are only swollen a tiny bit, it's when i go throughout the day they get worse. i go to OB today, so i will tell him...even though i know it's normal. i am SOOOO HUNGRY all the time now..i eat a meal and it feels like i haven't even eaten. i had eggplant parmigiana last night and i had to stop myself from eating the entire plate..it was huge! i could have done it though..i think this is how you can gain so much weight! i need to be very careful because OB only wants me to gain like 20 to 25 pounds! i am off today, so i am going to treat myself to a mani/pedi! i hope everyone has a wonderfuly friday!!!

I know what you mean about being so hungry. I am usually not a big eater, but pregnancy changes that. I was at Chick Fil A with a girlfriend the other day and one of my fries started to fall. i found myself yelling "NOOOOOO" she started laughing because she just had a baby and knows how it is to be so hungry you want every fry......BTW I totally caught and ate the fry

Ummm food!! LOL! Hubby and I had some pizza and calzones last night...Im usually good with one slice and he crusts...well I had a slice and his crusts and half a calzone...I could have eaten more but didn't want to push it!

I so slept better last night ! I went in at 10:30 and slept til 5...I was so happy when I woke up!!

cathi - that is too funny! i just ate an entire quesadilla with shrimp from the la salsa..and guess what..I AM STILL HUNGRY!!! lol!!! how are you feeling???????

hopeful - i am sooooo glad you slept great last night...that is just great! i hope this trend continues. yummy...calzones and pizza! i know what you mean not wanting to push it.

Hi Everyone! I think it's been over a week since I've been on here...our internet at work isn't working, and when I come home, I just go to bed! My in-laws are in town this weekend, so I am glad I found a minute to get on here. I haven't had a chance to read up on everyone, but I hope you are all feeling well. I had my 1st OB visit, which was fine. Still have some m/s but I am praying it will go away soon! In-laws brought all kind of cute onesies for the babies and cute clothes for me too! I hope I can catch up with everyone soon. I'm thinking of you gals!!!

Hopeful, See it does get better! I remember the same thing happened to me with DD... but after a few weeks it goes away, and you're able to sleep again....

Cathi: That's so funny about the fries!!! I bet you were quick to catch the fry!!!

I feel the same about food... I am constantly hungry and I don't want to gain more weight. I have already gained 10 lbs... I would like to not gain more than 30 total... We'll see...

martha - yeah..there you are!! i am so glad you are doing great!! how did your family react when you told them you were having triplets??? i want to know!!!

northeastgirl - i am glad i am not the only one starving!!! i'm glad you are doing well...when is your next ob appt??

went to ob and i gained 5 pounds...so that is 8 total. he said i should just try and eat as many veggies as possible to try and help when i am starving...i will try that. we heard the little guys heartbeat...and right when he put the doppler on bam, it was there...YIPPEE! he said everything else looked perfect, so another hurdle we cross. i had the second blood draw for nt scan and he said it was for the quad screening too. so i that comes back fine! we will go for anatomy scan in 2 1/2 weeks!

Hey Martha - Glad you are doing good..have a great time with the inlaws!

Northeast - 2 nights in a row WOOO HOOOO...I hope I've made the turn for the good on the sleeping!

mery - not bad 8 pounds! I so far gained 7..all this last month...doc was ok with it since I did not gain in the beginning...I have my anatomy scan the 31st. Isn't so cool that as soon as they place the doppler you can heart the heartbeat...no searching!

afm - going to look at cribs and strollers with mom and my grandma...they are so super excited...they have grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, but they are contantly asking when are we gonna do this or that? I am going to look but not buy anything get...well maybe a little something. Hubby feels left out, but has to work againthis week-end...we are having date night and I am thinking of making a pic nic and going to the beach after I pick him up from work...he's been so cute the past few nights...he gets down and talks to my belly...he was like...I think he/she can start to hear us...I want him/her to know my voice as well as yours. He told me he wants a girl...now he has 3 already. I was kinda surprised...I thought a for sure a boy..he is so sports oriented...we had a baseball themed wedding LOL!!

Hopeful12---very cute about your hubby wanting a girl..My doctor is almost sure we are having a girl..My husband is so excited..I just want a healthy baby. I just hope for my hubby the baby doesn't grow a penis...lol

Martha I too want to know how your family took the news.

Mery I am starting to feel better, but I still do have m/s. Today we went to the mall and when we left I thought I was gonna barf everywhere. It was hot in the mall and that could have been it. I am hungry a lot, but I have noticed I am over eating too. I need to watch that. I haven't gained a lot of weight only 4 lbs so far, but I'm not suppose to gain more than 15.

Cathi I hope things are going well. I hope you guys get your little girl, there are so many cute things to buy for them.

Hopeful - I'm so glad you got to sleep straight through two nights in a row, I hope this is start of something GREAT! We went shopping today for the first time looking at Babies R Us. My hubby and I couldn't agree on too many things, but that was because we were looking for the first time. He was a bit funny. I wish my mom and sister were here to shop with.

Northeast girl I hope all is going well for you. I know what you mean about not wanting to gain more than 30 lbs, I was already a bit overweight when we got preggers, so I don't want to gain too much either. I'm constantly thinking about it. I was at the mall today and a lady in one of the stores was preggers (probably due any day now) and she was so BIG. All baby it looked like, but still big. I told hubby I would probably get that big too and he said I don't care how big you get I'll still love you. He's so sweet.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. We have so far. Thanks for the well wishes with the house. I can't wait for it to be over.
