I'd like to join the April group!
just got my schedule.
From March 21 to March 30, progesterone pill 10 days to induce AF because my period irregular. If I get period before March 21, will use BCP until March 30.
Transfer day should be April 21.

hi ladies,

wanted to join the group. im new to ivf i think a few of you are from the feb. thread i was doing a cycle then and visited it every day i got a .

i want to apologise in advance for spelling mistakes as i live out of the country and with 2 languages it gets hard.

here is my story.

have 2 children conceived the old fashion way.im on a second marriage and my dh has a visectomy so ivf/ icsi is are only option.
started in jan. got a but had a m/c early on. did a fet cycle in feb. and got a . i only have 2 frosties left and we will be doing a natural fet cycle in april.
as soon as af arrives i should know the exact date but it looks like i will have my transfer on the 10 of april.

im so grateful i found this site so i have someone to talk to, sorry this is so long i promise to learn how to use the proper format next time.

krissymexico, no one here is looking for perfection dont worry about it, your fine. It looks as if your transfer date is set for the same day as mine "Good Friday", let's hope this this brings us our little blessing/s!

stinkycat, (love the name btw, reminds me of the Phobe song from Friends. LOL) Are you planning to transfer all remaining frosties?

hi ladies, i just know april is going to be a great month for all of us.

how many embryos will you ladies be transfering?
i only have 2 left 8 cells , and 7 cells hope they make the thaw ok..

well ive finally have gotten over my , and have moved on, ive started to get really exited and ansy, it also helps that the weather here has gotten beautiful its in the 80 . i never knew ivf was so hard emotionally, i guess you need to stay positive and not loose faith.

i have a question did anyone else get so bloated while using progeterone supositories?

We are thawing and placing 2 embryos. Hopefully, we'll get a ...

I was strictly using PIO injections, so I have no idea about the suppositories!

We have 7 frosties left and plan on transferring 3 again.

And YES - the progesterone supps made me SO bloated. I swtiched to Endometrin suppositories for my last FET and I didn't have such severe bloating.

We start Lupron on Monday!

ok ladies i have some questions...

did a fet natural fet cycle in feb..my dh and i are trying not to overthink things but i see that maybemommy they give you doxycycline which is an antibiotic, my dh and i read in the internet that when using assisted hatching they always give antibiotics and my re did not give me any in my last cycle...

i have a doctors appointment next week and we are trying to get as much info as possible

did any one else get antibiotics while doing a fet cycle???

in my last cycle i was monitored with u/s till ovulation then given a trigger shot to insure ovulation, started progesterone supp... then had my transfer a few days later, we just want to make sure evrything is being done that needs to be done to help are little embryos make it..

they will be doing assisted hatching again so i need as much info as possible before my next doctors appointment, thanks and good luck to everyone

My u/s is at 3:45 (PST) so I'll let you know how that goes!

Krissy - I'm not sure how the natural cycles work. My RE only goes AH if the shell is looking particularly hard - so it's not the norm for them. I think the doxycycline is just in case?

My RE doesn't like for you to O on your own for an FET. He says that it's better when they can control everything - this way we can pick our own date and know that it will be done on that day.. KWIM? And he thinks it's easier to time it that way... he just replicates your body's natural cycle with meds.

A lot of people do natural cycles too apparently... it's funny because I only knew of what my RE did.. and then when people said that FETs were so much easier - I disagreed! But I guess a natural one is much simpler
