Everyone ok?
It's all gone quiet...hope everyone is having a nice time of just being a 'normal' person and not being too IF focussed (Apparently it happens!)

Hi girls,
I just found out that I'll be having a May 7th FET and was hoping I could join. We only have one snowbaby and no one is very hopeful for this transfer. I realized that I do need some support since this could be quite the roller coster. I originally was to have my FET on April 30th, but they want me to have an extra week of estrogen to help plump my lining. I've been on lupron for a few weeks now and am on estrogen patches and supps. I wish all of you gals the best of luck. Let's hope May is our lucky month!! ![]()

Hi Ladies,
Just checking in to see if any one is experiencing side effects? I just started taking the Estrofem pills, and I don't remember having these side effects during my first IVF. Today, while driving with dh..I started crying while telling a story..and he just looked at me, asked if I was crying.and I just replied..yup, it's gotta be the meds. Then, we get home..and I have to rip my belt off and unbutton my pants because my abdomen is so bloated I can't even sit down without my jeans slicing my stomach. Additionally, I've been nauseas. I did go and find the leaflet that comes with the Estrofem pills..and sure enough, under possible side effects it lists many of my symptoms. Oh and to add insult to injury..my mother-in-law whom I adore says to me this morning..have you put on weight? God love her, because she has no idea I'm going through IVF at the moment, but that just put me over the edge!

Yes! Side effects from my Lupron. It never bothered me the other times but this time I have hot flashes and headaches galore. Ugh. I hate it! 14 more days of it.
The random crying outburst have to be the most annoying IVF sideeffects besides the bloated fat belly than NEVER leaves me after a cycle. LOL

Hey Ladies! I hope everyone is doing well! The weather up here in New Hampshire has been AMAZING! So I don't get on the boards as often as I would like to.
I actually just found out i have been pushed out another week, so my transfer will not be until the 13th or 14th of May. I am a bit stressed beucase i have to work on Saturday the 16th. I am hoping I have enough recovery time. How much time are you all planning on taking after your transfer? |

I'll be on bed rest for 48hrs as well. I lost my job in Jan, so no worries about working. However, we are moving next month..and will have to do some packing during the 2ww. Not great timing..I'm trying to do a lot now. DH will have to do the heavy work/lifting.

We are moving too! We started packing last weekend to get ahead on it a little. I don't want to overdo things and there is a weight limit on what they'll let you carry during 2ww. It isn't much so poor little husbands. Mine has a bad back so we'll make a fine pair that time. LOL.

Everyone is moving! We finally finished our move this past weekend. We will NEVER move again
We asked our RE about bedrest after the transfer and she said it wasn't necessary. Luckily Sandy has a desk job. So far no side effects from the Lupron but we've only been doing it for 6 days. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hi Everyone, been a while since I have been online. So much going on at home, trying to get it in order for our 5-15-09 FET. All is good, did my baseline US & BW today for the FET, doc just called and said, all looks good, keep going.
The Lupron is a killer, I felt bloated with all the IVF meds, but this Lupron totally kills everything for me. I just want to be a veg/couch potato..and that is so not me. It sucks everyone is moving at their 2ww time, but hopefully the move is a step in the right direction for everyone. Take care everyone, we will talk again next week. Mel p.s. forgot to mention, we moved the frozen babies to the new facility last week, we have 6 frozen total, 3 at 4AA quality, 1 at 4AB, 1 at 4BB, and 1 at 3BB...so looks good for the FET, they plan to put 3 back this time. |

Hi Ladies,
How is everyone with their treatment?? Had another U/S today and I almost passed out when the nurse said she wasn't sure if there was another polyp and had to have the doctor take a look. WELL, thankfully nobody seems too concerned because I got a call letting me know to continue with the dose of estrogen I'm currently on. I have another scan Thursday, 5/7. Good grief..I hope whatever that nurse saw doesn't continue to grow..or I'll have to have a 3rd D&C...eeek. Hopefully, it goes on vacation to my baby toe or something.
