Believe me, it was so not fun. The sad part is the new meds are not covered under insurance. The new progesterone and ganorelix. Oh well, if I end up with a baby, i will be a happy girl:-)
I posted earlier about bedrest after the transfer. I was hoping for like 3 days of doing NOTHING. I will have my transfer on either Wednesday or Thursday of next week, then have to work on Saturday. I am a wedding photographer, so i am standing ALL day. With lots of cameras. The good thing is that my husband shoots with me, so he can help for sure. I just wanted more rest:-)

Caty..wow that sounds awful..and so uncomfortable!! What a great job you have!!..and yes, your hubby will be a big help next sat.

I don't have any pain with the PIO shots. Not sure if you folks in the US use Ametop gel (Tetracaine)?? It's great..you put it on 1/2hr before you plan to do the shot..and it numbs the area. My husband once missed the numbed area - we had to come home early from a party to do the shot and I think he'd had a few too many and his aim was off!! I screamed bloody murder. I've never heard any of my friends who've gone through IVF in the US mention being offered it??? I walk on the treadmill at the gym..I can only imagine what the other women in the changing room are thinking if they caught a glance of my black and blue speckled behind!!

Caty - I work in a fairly stressful environment where i am up and down all day and will probably go back to work the second day after my transfer. I am just keeping in mind that women who get pregnant naturally don't go on bedrest afterwards. That said, since I am constantly on call for crisis situations (I run a detention center for youth) I have told everyone that after my transfer I am going NO after hours phone calls for a week. I feel like I just need to be able to have the down time and not over stress. Good luck!

Hi Ladies,

Well had my 3rd scan this morning, and received disappointing news. Our cycle has been cancelled. The polyp they had seen during my 2nd scan only grew larger, and it's too risky to do a transfer. So, I have a D&C scheduled May 12th, which would have been the day of our transfer. This makes D&C number 3. Hopefully, 3's a charm!

Best of luck to all of you, and I'll be checking in to see all the BFP's!!!

Thanks Mama! My husband and I are trying to remain positive and think about the fun summer ahead. The large intake of chocolate last night helped matters too.

All the best!! and to everyone!

Waiting, so sorry to hear your news. Have an amazing summer. Your miracle will come:-)

I can't beleive I am next, the pressure! So I went in this morning to measure my lining and is is perfect! I am at .91 as of right now, they want to see over .8 at this point. Last cycle at this time i was only at .68 so they had me do an extra week of estrogen.
So right on track. I start progesterone tomorrow evening, increase it on Sunday to include prometrium. Monday morning i go in to get my levels checked. If all is good they will thaw the snowbabies! transfer will be wednesday if my 2 cell embies make it. Thursday if they need to go to the blasts.
I will take anything as long as it works:-)
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I have the weekend off, my only one until the 4th of July. So i am going to try to love every second of it, but work like mad so i don't have to during my two week wait! (wishful thinking).

Hey Ladies!
Chitchat - Lets hope for a darn good day on the 13th! (or 14th for me).
Sullyfish, my fingers are crossed for you, all you need is one.
Update on me, it seems like everyday something is happening!
Saturday night, started my progesterone in etholoiate. it smells weird. woke up on mothers day, itching like mad. knees, forearms, ankles, went and took a look and i had welts all over me. I thought, since i was gardening the day before maybe i picked up poison ivy. but it was not poison ivyish (not a word). It looked like a mosquito ivited every mosquito in town to come bite me. Conclusion: hives. I am allergic to progesterone in ethololiate. Wonderful. Same thing happend this morning when i woke up, but not as bad. So i got my progesterone checked today and it was perfect to defrost the snowbabies (one good thing!).. I met with my nurse and she put me back on progesterone in sesame.
So right now i am taking 100mg prometrium in the AM. 2ccs of PIO in the PM, and another 100mg prometrium in the PM.
so the most important part, the snowbabies, or my children in the lab. Both of them survived the thaw! I got the call this afternoon. They will make the determination tomorrow if we need to thaw a blast for transfer based on how well the two little ones are doing. They are on day 1 today.
I hope you all have a great night! I will update you tomorrow! Lets hope for no more hives!

where is AF

how are you ladies? i have been lost on the site and couldn't find myself until i saw my name here.

where is my AF ? I am 4days late now, my cycles are as normal as the sky being blue but no sight of it. is it because of the endo bio, or the hystersonogram I did early on in my previous cycle. could i be is even possible already? this shocked me so cause my cycles doesn't skip a beat
