Anyone doing an FET in May 2009? My FET date is 5-15-09, just wanted to see if anyone else has one scheduled for May also?

Also, anyone done both progesterone gel suppositories and the shot? If so, what is the difference. We changed doctor and the new doctor is ordering the shots vs. the suppositories.

im over on april thread doing a fet cycle, but yesterday went to the re and my hormones did not look to good, im doing a natural cycle, with progesterone suppositories.. hes giving me till next wed... i should know then if its a go or my cycle gets cancelled...

im praying its a go but if its not ill be doing a cycle in may ..

In my 2nd IVF I did the shots and the sup - fun stuff. Has your dr. suggested doing both..you might want to ask him? Just a thought??

Looks like I will be doing a FET in May as well. Our first IVF cycle had a chemical preg. Praying for ! My tentative date is May 21st.

My partner is scheduled for the end of May. She'll start the Lupron injections next week.

Hi there, I am new to this forum today:-) actully just a couple minutes ago.

I am doing a May cycle, currently i am on bcp. My tentative transfer date is around the 7th or 8th, but depending on how i react to the meds, it might be the following week.

Hey girls! I am joining you too. We'll all be swinging into action here in the next several weeks. My plan is for a transfer the 3 week in May.

So is everyone taking Lupron?

I'll be put on Lupron and estrogen before the transfer. No BCPs for me. They make me nervous with my thyroid.

Sandy will start Lupron on the 24th for 3 weeks. Right now she is taking BCP and baby aspirin.
We are going for an U/S tomorrow just to double check everything. Our RE is 4 hours away, so it always makes for a long day.

Hopefully I will be joining you for a May FET. I am doing a mini-ivf ER this week as part of the New Hope Clinical Trial. They are not doing fresh transfers because the 10 days of clomid can thin the uterine lining.

Thus, I will be doing a natural cycle FET in May assuming all goes well with the ER and my cycle cooperates.

Hi ladies - I'm due for FET on 4th or 5th May but I need a bit of a rant first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unexplained? unexplained? Don't you just wish that they would just come out with it and say 'don't bother - it ain't gonna work'

So yes, we've had another and will carry straight on with the next FET, but I'm sick of this now. Wish I actually had something wrong with me so I could just blame that and move on with my life. Buy a flash car? travel? retire?

ANDjust to make this week just more annoying, my sister has just told me she's pregnant. Yes it's great news as she

was told they couldn't have kids (without ICSI as he has practically no sperm - which they didn't want to do) and they were half way through an adoption procedure. So she's understandably confused and scared, and also worried about how I'd take the news. She is 4 years older than me so it doesn't feel wrong that she gets it first, but that feeling of 'everyone else is just spewing out babies' is even worse close to home (actually not that close, she's in the UK and I'm in New Zealand, but you know what I mean)
AND she's another one of those 'we just stopped trying and it happened' stories which just stabb right through you, don't they??

Ok, enough of the rant - I'm here on the May FET board now ready for the next try!

Joanne, how did the scan go? Is everything on target?

I hope my check goes well Thursday and I can start that Lupron. Last week they delayed me.

HOw many are you all transferring? I am thinking of 4 embryos and my doc agrees.

The scan went great, everything is just the way it should be. We are planning on transferring 2 blasts.

We are going to transfer two, if we can. We have 4 frozen, two 2 cells and two blasts. If one of the two cells don't make it, they will try to take the other out to blast and hope one of the blasts makes it. If both the two cells don't make it, we will only get one blast, which does not make me happy. I want two!

MamaSoon.. just wondering how anagon is? They have me taking that becuase they have had quite a bit of success with it instead of lupron with FETs.. it also works faster.

I am always in awe of people with blastocysts. I've never had one nor have i seen double lines.

Caty, are you asking me how ganirelix works? what drug will you take?


Is anyone else on Lovenox? I will be starting it when I get my AF and start the estrogen. Something new for me.

Caty-Fingers crossed for two!

FYI-Had my scan today, and thankfully no cysts on my ovaries (a worry since I have PCOS) I can start meds tomorrow-asprin, estrofem, 5mg of folic acid, B complex, continue Buserelin nasal spray, continue glucophage, and my husband and I must take an antibiotic for 7 days. I think that's it!
