Mrs Ready,
If your estrogen level gets high enough, then it will supress ovulation. that is how I did this cycle..I didnt want to do lupron again.

zMomma - great sounding betas and I would use the most recent one for sure.

Gina - have a great vacation - hopefully it will be nice and relaxing - always good to have that right now!

Erica - enjoy your 'luxuries' this weekend - I had my last glass of wine for a while last night. Sounds like we are on the same schedule - or very close to it, you're one day before me - this is our week along with Lynn and Leigh - for us!

Wanna - yeah - glad you are on your way!

AFM - took my handful of drugs this morning and looking forward to my first PIO shot tonight - not really! But oh well, the countdown has begun for me - very exciting!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Yeah! First PIO shot is done! DH did a great job as always - they were not as bad as I remembered the first time, just a little pinch, just relieved to have started - phew.

Sweatpea, we actually got Woody who is a Ridgeback mutt @ ARF which is Tony LaRussa's (head coach of the A's and the Cardinals) animal rescue foundation. We almost did not get him as someone else got to the adoption clinic before we did and signed the papers but then their landlord would not agree to let them have a dog. So the next clinic I got there 2 hours early to make sure I was the first one - he was definitely meant to be our dog! He is awesome - so good with people and kids especially - hopefully this process works out and we have another little member of our family for him to hang out with! He's 6 years old now - we got him when he was 6 months - he was part of a litter and mother dog that was dropped off at the night drop at the pound and they fostered them all out at different homes - we heard their mother had the sweetest temperment and Woody definitely inherited that.

Thx for asking - I assume you're a Ridgey fan?

Smile update on me

Well, we had a wonderful anniversary on friday -- went out to see a show and a nice dinner. Then yesterday, we went hiking all day and then out to eat sushi -- hey, I figure we need to just keep living life as we would to the fullest until we know for sure.

Tomorrow is my beta, so I decided to POAS this morning. Guess what -- it's a ! Very dark and the line came up right away! I am 8dp6dt. I am elated, but of course, cautiously optimistic after what has happened to me before. At least we made it through the first milestone! Yeah!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and hope everyone is having a great weekend! I know mine could not have been better

update on me

Hello ladies!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderul and relaxing weekend.

Gina (Mrs. Ready)--Thanks for clarifying egg and embies. Sorry for the confusion. I said egg and embies interchangeably. Our clinic offer FET egg donor and fresh egg donor program. They have been really successful with FET egg donor program and we went this route because it work better within our budget ( totally out-of-pocket and it sucks). It's a shared cycle prorgam and we got 8 eggs. After thawing of the eggs, if it appears we need additional eggs we will get them from our donor or another chosen donor. The clinic will guarantee a minimum 2 quality eggs for ET. DH went in last Thursday and we got our fertility report Friday that all 8 eggs survived thawing process and they fertilized!! We got our second fertility report yesterday and they all still developing was told we are doing a 5 day ET which will be June 16th, yea!!! I'm planning on 2 to 3 and if there are additional blasts that make it, we will be freeze them. I will get another report tomorrow. I'm praying and for a great report.

Lynn and Shari-- You are on next week too. I'm praying your ETs will go through smoothly.

Wannabemommy--IM shots are not too bad. DH gives them in different spots on the buttocks. I have PIO injections and it's a little thick. DH know to inject slow because it hurts when it goes in fast. I have hollered a couple times so he got the message now (LOL).

EricaS--Glad to hear your sono went well. Thanks for sharing that amazing story. It's so wonderul to hear stories like this.

Midum and Z-Momma--Congratulations on your BFPs. Wishing much success with your betas

I have a question? I'm not a big lover of pineapple and I have been eating it since wednesday. I have tried different ways to "doctor" it up. I love cottage cheese with fruit and have been eating it with cottage cheese. Do you have other suggestions with the pineapple?

Leigh

Pineapple

Hey Leigh,

Maybe you could try it as juice or maybe you could mix it in blender with ice and OJ. I cant think of anything else. At least as a juice, you can hold your nose and chug a lug. Thats what I did when preggo with my twins. I couldnt stomach veggies so I drank V8 by holding my nose!

Are you doing acupuncture? My clinic does it before and after transfer so I will do it. It too is supposed to help bring bloodflow to uterus. Anything and everything helps.

I am going in the am for a last lining check and visit to dracula to check estrogen and progesterone levels. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Tuesday will be here before we know it! Take it easy
Lynn

Betas

Now Midum and I have our first betas on Monday, I consider this my first one because if I hadn't got admitted into the hospital on the 10th mines would have been Tuesday. So I am praying that we have great betas on Monday!

I hope that everyone is enjoying the last day of their weekend! We have a very busy week ahead so I will be watching and wishing all the girls sticky vibes!

OMG - Midum - what incredible news! Am so happy for you.

AFM - freaking out right now - have been using the Prometrium capsules for the last 2 days and had PIO shots the last 2 days and taking Medrol and Estriadol still and all of a sudden I went to the bathroom and there is bright red blood - OH NO - am I starting my period early?!?! Am totally freaked out. Has anyone else had this happen BEFORE their FET? Would be so bummed if it we have to postpone :-((((

Anyhow, will talk to my REs office tomorrow depending on the amount of blood and see how it goes, will keep my fingers crossed.

Good Morning Ladies:

z-momma--your P4 level is great, looks like that little on grabbed on and is doing what it suppose to. Beta #'s are a funny thing. Try not to base too much on the # itself, but more so that it is going up in a good amount. I was told before from my RE nurse that based on how each lab runs the test the #'s can varry from location to location that is why they prefer that you go to the same to make sure they are doubling properly. Your #'s from both labs you listed both look exactly in the range that they should be and they are rising!!!! Can't wait to hear how they are today.

Midum--Happy Anniversary and Congratulations.....Can't wait to hear your Beta #'s. I know how it is to be cautiously optomistic. When I got prenant the third time, DH got so mad because I wanted to run out again and buy maternity clothes, pick out names, etc, etc and he wanted to "hold off" to see how things went. I told him that if I was only to be pregnat for 1 day, or 1 week, or whatever, I wanted to enjoy each and every day of it that I could and not waste anytime worrying, I did enough of that already. I decided, if something happened, I would deal with it then. My pregnancy journal had a quote on it that I thought was just so fitting and perfect and I think of it often still to this day. "Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, Today is a Gift"--Eleanor Roosevelt---today is a gift--enjoy it, you've waited a long time not to enjoy every second of it that you can.

Shari--Hpe everything is OK, I never heard of that happening before, please let us know what the RE says.

Lynn--Best of luck tomorrow. Wishing you only the best of luck.....

Leigh--Looks like the kids are off to a good start. I always foundreports on them growing to be the most exciting part of the process. Hope they all keep growing.....Best wishes tomorrow.

It looks like this board is off to a great start, hopefully it keeps going......

As for me, I had a great relaxing weekend and am ready to go. Had a great heart to heart with DH over dinner on Saturday. I had a lot of reservations going through this again and it gave me one more time alone with DH to think outloud. A part of me feels like I am being selfish trying for 1 more when I have 2 beautiful, healty girls already. I think, I prayed to God to give us 1 and he gave us 2, who am I to ask for more?!?!? Life is funny, I thought this time would be easier, but I was fooling myself, it is just as hard, only in different ways. But I worked hard for these little frozen ones and I just can't see not giving them the chance they deserve, no matter what the outcome might be.

Funny thing---- my horoscope today said "Think with your heart on personal matters, but just don't put all of your eggs into the basket at once". Is this the sign I was looking for?!?!?! I have 5 left, but I am only putting in 2, wondering if that is what they mean ) Yes, my husband thinks I am crazy too......... I really only read my horoscope daily becasue it is on the news on my phone. I glace at it for fun, but I found it a bit fitting and a little amusing.
