Too funny Gina! I also JUST did a pregnancy due date calculator before reading your post. hee hee I got a date of March 17th on one site and a date of March 18th on another site. So, luck of the Irish all the way around! My husband is from Scotand and his mother was born in Ireland, so I will take that as good luck.

z_momma - you are too funny!

Beta tomorrow

So I POAS today and it was a BFN!!!!____________ (Insert swear word there )
I didnt have much hope for this embie to make it, it was our last. I was hoping it did, but kinda in my heart knew it wouldnt. I am tired of all this cycling and hubby and I are seriously considering surrogacy. Maybe someone else will have more luck than us. I will confirm things tomorrow and keep you all posted. I wish you ALL the best of LUCK!

Lynn--My heart goes out to you, but try to hang in there. I never got a positive HPT more then 1 day before my beta was scheduled and my betas were always 12DP 3DT . I am still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Mellissa & Solange--Hope all went well today.

z-mamma-- you make me laugh.... No your not crazy at all. The first time I was pregnant I got the beta results from RE and then ran out to buy a HPT. DH was like "what are you doing that for" and my response was I just need to convince myself that they really did work because at that point I had been through 100's of them with nothing so I just needed to see it for myself--I know crazy....... Only us fertility patients can understand one another.

Gina--I have calculated my date too, so I am just as obsessed. June has been luck for me in the past so I am hoping 3 X's is a charm (and no I did not pick my date based on the following, it just worked out that way) With my girls both their transfers were 1 week apart in date making their due dates 1 week apart in date. Since I carried both girls 36 weeks and 2 days each their birthdays are 1 week apart right down time. Both girls at birth were the same length, and just 2 oz off in weight, but Gia was a rough delivery and they forced her blood supply back into the cord trying to vacuum extract her on a C-Section. Let's just say if I get pregnant this time it is possible that I could deliver on my DD#2 birthday, which would be odd because it would be like her twin being born 3 years later since this FET is from her fresh IVF. There is one other very strange coincidence on when my actual due date would be and but it's a long story....... remind me to tell you about it if things work in my favor (I call it fate, DH calls me crazy). All I can say is---I know my friend Maggie, is out there looking out for me and I can never thank her enough for my little Gia.....

Dressie--welcome to the teary eyed club. I just need to remember to not watch TV, listen to the radio, watch the kids play, talk to DH or anyone at work and I should be just fine and dry for the rest of the day ) The funny thing is when I start all I keep thinking is "why am I crying", and "why can't I stop even though I want to". I think I need to get better mascara for the next few days.

Hazel--Hope your taking it easy letting that little one settle in.

Lynn It's not over 'til beta!!! Don't give up hope. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with seeing that on the stick though - I know that feeling, and it sucks.

Erica I will be asking you for that story! I love fate and funny coincidences and all that good stuff. I think that too about this babe being DD's "twin" since they are from the same crop so to speak.

Crislyn - crazy loves company, thanks

z - I say POAS every day - seeing those lines never gets old!

I hate waiting

EricaS-I'm trying really hard to rest but I get ancy. I've done 2 loads of laundry and made dinner to make time fly. In between, I lay on the couch for a break so as not to over exert myself. Tomorrow I go back to work and although I'm tired of having too much time on my hands, but I don't want to go back to work-I'm confused I know.

Sounds like we are all hoping this week passes by FAST! Though I feel like it won't be over if I get a good beta since there are so many follow up tests and worries before you know things are ok. I know I'm freaking out-some of you cry, I flip out lol

Gina and everyone else who tried this, I went ahead and used the pregnancy calculator. My cycles are long up to 38 days. If I use that as the length of my cycle, my due date would be March 16 which is my deceased mom's birthday...how's that for amazing coincidence? I feel a little better just at the thought of that possibility!

Hang in there Lynn. My RE always begs patients to not POAS (I have always ignored that advice however) because he said they arent reliable until almost the same time as the beta.

Hazel my dear, you are almost there! Just one more weekend and beta on Monday.

Lynn, sorry to hear your news .. Please keep us posted, its not over yet!

Had 2 snowbabies put back, they were healthy and strong, doctor is sure this is going to be a great cycle (BOY i hope he is right) I have a 35% chance of twins ( I would like twins, but i will be so happy with 1) beta is July 8th (which cant be here fast enough) I want to POAS July 4th (2 reasons my neices birthday and holiday) but I am worried it will ruin my day if it is BFN, so I keep telling myself not to go to the store and buy a test, I dont need it. I am strong I can wait (not sure if it will work)

So here I lay on the sofa, the doctor says 24 hours, the hubby says until Monday, I have it set I dont want to move off the sofa/bed all weekend. nothing to do anyway they are calling for storms all weekend.

Hope all is well ladies, take care!

Sorry, have been super busy at work so only time for a quick catch up with everyone.

Lynn - am so sorry to hear your news - would hold out on final judgement until your BETA but a big for you. Will be thinking about you.

Cryslyn - they let me pick my transfer date as well - maybe it's a CA thing.

Leigh - belated congrats to you! Have been off-line for 2 days and look at what happens.

AFM - forgot to take my meds this morning and to take my ones for lunchtime as well - drove home around 1 to work from home in the afternoon - figure that's the best I can do. Not breaking down crying all the time but tired all of the time and a complete space case - oh well. Have a good rest of the week everyone.

Melissa, here are the sites I used:

ivf-infertility.com | Calculating the due date of delivery

IVF.ca Due Date and Fetal Development Calculator

The first one lets you specify your transfer date. For the second site I just counted back from the transfer date to get the retrieval date (eg. since my transfer is 6/30 and my embies were six days at time of freezing I put 6/24 as my retrieval date). In any case, the first one is easier.

I say stick with what your hubby says. Give those little guys/gals time to snuggle in there undisturbed. There would be absolutely nothing wrong with three days of downtime.

Shari, Hope all is well and that busy makes time fly by for your beta!

Lynn, It's not easy but you've come this far, keep your hope up one more day till beta hunny!

Melissa, Congrats on ET and do enjo the rest.

Crislyn, Thanks for making me see it that way-just one more weekend seems like I can make it lol

As for me, I've had a hard time resting. I've taken breaks on the couch but have also done a few loads of laundry and made dinner two days in a row to keep myself busy. Of course the kitchen is right by the couch so I'm not walking far. I go back to work tomorrow but am a bit worried because I'm not really in the mood to go anywhere since I have cramps, an ear ache, gas, and often trips to the bathroom due to these **** meds.

I hope some of you are doing better than me!
