As for me, nothing too exciting going on. No "symptoms" today, except for quite a bit of CM which of course could be from the meds. Today's a busy day at work and then a long weekend so I may not be in much. Happy 4th to everyone and !

I'm still here!! :(

Sorry I've been gone for over a week. I had SO much work to do in order to take off my transfer day and the rest of the week that I worked until about 9:30 every night trying to crank it all out. Thanks for all of the well wishes on my transfer! But put me back on the list!!! I feel like you all broke up with me.

Then transfer time was here and since then, I've had a head cold. My head's been pounding too badly to look at a computer screen. So much has happened around here!

First, and most importantly, Shari, Erica, and Desden, I'm so bummed to hear your news. But I love your spirit! Hug your DHs, kids, and pets. Being thankful for what we have is a big step in the healing process, I think.

Shari, I'm really sorry about your situation. I know from my fresh cyle what it's like to get that initial low beta. It's torture. I thought it would have been better for me to not get the positive in the first place, but on the other hand, you do know that positives are possible for you. Talk to your doctor to see if there's anything else they can think of to do. Mine didn't suggest much, but I took a month off to do a saline test to look for uterine wall abnormalities, then a month of BCPs, and here we are again adding only the assisted hatching this time. Keep trying and good luck with your additional embies. It will happen for you - keep the faith.

Leigh, Hazel and Socks - Congratulations!! Those beta numbers look great and you're all well on your way! Fantastic news!!

Wanna - Hope your transfer today went well. You're officially PUPO!!

Snapple, Kelly, Melissa, Gina, and Solange - This is a big 2WW club! Not long to go now! We should have some more great news streaming in before long!

Midum and Z - Hope you guys are feeling okay, how are the symptoms? Midum, good luck with your U/S next week.

AFM - Transfer went fine. I got my lining up to 9.5. Going in, I had 3 3-day embies (7-cell, 6-cell, and 5-cell). After thaw and assisted hatching, I had a 7-cell, 6-cell and a 4-cell, so one of them lost a cell or two, which I'm told is pretty normal. But it did get downgraded from average to below average.

Had acupuncture before and after and all seemed to go pretty smoothly. I even got an U/S picture of my three little embies in there all lined up. They look like a grain of rice in an otherwise black field. Pretty cool.

I came home (exhausted after working late the night before) and crashed. But then my sinuses all clogged up, my head started pounding, and I started sneezing. Terrific time for a head cold. Today is the first day I'm feeling a little better.

Yesterday, 1dpt, I was pretty crampy, mostly on the left side. I looked back at my notes from my fresh cycle and was crampy on the same day back then. I also noted that over the next two days that I got some pretty severe cramps in the middle of the night. So I'll be bracing myself for those.

Today, I'm up and around more, but haven't left the house. I can't keep lying around - I get so bored!!! But I have been munching on some pineapple, drinking red raspberry leaf tea, drinking grape juice and laying on my left side! LOL. I'll try anything! Beta is set for 7/13.

Hope everybody is doing okay and here's to a great 4th of July weekend!! Take care!

Crislyn - I think I accidentally left you off of my post, sorry! Sadly, when I respond to the boards, I keep a running list of all of the prior posts, so that I can respond more accurately and keep up with both everybody's status and discussions. I had you written down, but missed it in the post.

Sorry, sister! Did you transfer 3 or 5 day embies? I think I'm the only one on the tail-end with 3-dayers so I'm about two days behind everybody with regard to what to expect. LOL.

Keep me posted on how you're feeling, so I can see if I feel the same way a couple of days later!

Hi Ladies,

I have been away on business for 2 days with no computer access-what a crime!! I missed checking in but have updated myself by reading back.

melissa & gina, 1 more week of all those feeling, I pray for your BFP's and that the feelings are signs of it! I was cramping immediately after ET and still have some and bloated.

Crislyn & di.ma, for a BFP!

Rigby & Snapple, any update on your betas?

Sweet Pea, I had 1 embryo transferred and got a BFP.

Wannabeamommy, I hope ET went well today and that you're sleepoing better.

Leigh, great betas girl!

Shari, I'm so sorry about the chemical and pray the next cycle is the lucky one for you!

Dresden & EricaS, I'm sorry for the failed cycle but am glad to have crossed path with each of you because you are wonderful, strong women who have inspired me. I wish you both happiness in any next steps.

Julianne, I also had acupuncture before & after ET, drank red rasberry leaf (month before ET), grape juice (startyed week before ET), ate pineapple (started week before) and slep on my left side as much as I could remember! Good luck to you during your wait but I think you're sure doing all the right things!

AFM, I had my 2nd beta today it was 537. Dr was pleased so I don't have to go back until 7/16 for u/s, yay!

Enjoy the long weekend everyone.

Julianne, I transfered 6 day embies. My embies took their time developing when I did my fresh IVF in 07. The two fresh I transfered where blastocysts, but all four of my frozen were classified as "early blasts" so even know they were older than 5 days, they hadnt developed as far.

Sounds like a nice, healthy beta Hazel. Very good! :-)

Ok, so whats the deal with sleeping on your left side? Been meaning to ask. I know that some people encourage you to sleep on your left side when you are pregnant, but never heard of in connection to IVF.

Also, you gals might think Im nuts but I have been feeling a distict pinching type of feeling right where the RE inserted the embies. Feels like the same exact spot. Everytime I woke up last night I felt it and felt it throughout the morning. Hope its someone snuggling in.... I know I mentioned it before, but its still going on and its got my mind racing. :-)

Hi Ladies! Just thought I'd do a quick list update.

Julianne - that cracked me up that you keep a written list of posts. That is SO something I would do!!!

Crislyn I think that pinching feeling is a good sign. I think the sleeping on the left is the same idea for conception - keeping the best position for the most blood flow to the uterus. Not clinically necessary, but certainly can't hurt!

wanna congratulations on a great transfer!! Sounds absolutely perfect and you are doing all the right things Keeping everything crossed for you mama!

Hazel woo hoo! Great second beta! And you have an u/s date - so exciting!! congrats mama.

I am starting to have that feeling in the back of my throat like ... yuckiness ... like the beginnings of nausea? I must have a VERY active imagination b/c implantation would be occurring today at the earliest, and way too early for my silly "symptoms"!!

Ok happy 4th beautiful women. Enjoy it

Wanna - thats FABULOUS news about your embryos! You couldnt ask for better results from your thaw.
Sounds so good!

Would have loved to have mine advanced and hatching. I had 4 as well. One didnt make it, one looked very poor (5% chance), and the other two were early blasts so they dont have the same chance of a full on blast...sigh...but I remain optimistic!

Hazel - great 2nd beta!! Awesome! You must feel pretty secure in that number!

Wanna - Fantastic transfer news! Sounds like yours are SO ready to attach and grow. They missed you!

Crislyn - I don't know if half of any of this stuff is true (the tea, the pineapple, the grape juice, the left side). My RE's nurse didn't seem to think so. But the bottom line is that we need to do whatever keeps us positive. And I personally need to feel like I did all I could do to help this along. So you know what? Pinching is a GOOD thing. Why? Because I said so. Snuggle embies, snuggle!!

MsReady - I think my making a list goes right along with my old eggs! My brain is old, too. I need to have these kids so they can pay for my nursing home! LOL! It's not too early for nausea. Why? Because it makes you feel pregnant, which makes you feel good and keeps you positive. So, yup, that's what it is!!

Gina, implantation can happen as early as 6 days after ovulation (or, in our case, retrival). You transfered 5 day embies, right? So implantation could definitely have taken place or be well into the process. So take it as a good sign my dear!

Julianne, you are too cute! Love your attitude. Hope you know you put a big smile on my face.
