I'm sorry Kelly. Keep us posted on your journey with your new RE if you feel up to it. You're very young, and I'm sure that your husband's issues can be overcome. Did you guys do ICSI?

Anyway, keep the faith. It will happen for you.

So sorry Kelly! I would like to echo what Julianne said. You are young and have time on your side. I just know things will work out for you! Would love to hear how it goes with your new RE.

AFM, I feel totally premenstrual today. Tired, moody, and lower back hurting. I also did an HPT (I know, WAY too early) which was negative so that probably isnt helping my mood. But, I am not totally upset either as I knew it was too early and dont know what possessed me to even try when I am only 6dpt.

Anyway, totally out of it today and cant think straight. I even threw my iPhone away in the garbage!

Crislyn - LOL. If it makes you feel any better, today is my first day back at work and I'm sitting here with my pants unbuttoned. I'd like to blame it on symptoms, or drug side effects. But let's face it. Somebody ate like a giant pig over the holiday weekend and is now paying the price.

Kelly I'm so sorry to hear about the negative I'm thinking of you!! The girls here are right, you definitely have time on your side. Please keep us updated!! I will be praying that next time is your turn.

Crislyn me too!!! I actually just ran to the bathroom convinced AF was here. I was having wicked cramping and just felt ... (TMI) ... very wet down there. But, still nothing thankfully. Still holding out positive thoughts and hope! You should too - it definitely is early to POAS!

Solange I think 7 days post transfer is pretty early. Mine is 9dp5dt and everyone seems to think that is really soon. Theoretically I guess by 7 days past transfer the embie should have implanted and should be secreting a very low level of HCG? To me it seems early though and I would want to retest later on myself.

Hazel, FertilitySocks - I agree with you ladies. Enjoy each day!! That's all you can do. Celebrate making it this far and just stay full of hope! Can't wait to hear the good news of your ultrasounds soon

Midum we are waiting for your news woman!!!

As for me, still feeling v. crampy. Sore bbs for a bit this morning, not so much right now. Hate how the symptoms come and go! We'll see...

***************************

Ultrasounds! How many babies are in there?!
06/26 - z_momma 2 beautiful heartbeats!
07/06 - Midum
07/16 - Hazel
07/20 - FertilitySocks

z_momma Betas: 06/11 = 173; 06/15 = 927!!!; 06/17 = 1465!
Midum Betas: 06/15 = 394!; 06/17 = 1195!
Leigh Betas: 06/27 = 317!; 06/30 = 1774!
Hazel Betas: 06/29 = 104!; 07/02 = 537!!
FertilitySocks Betas: 06/29 = 227!; 07/01 = 594!

I know I'm late to the party, but can I join?

Hi everyone...
I was on this forum a lot during my last IVF cycle, but haven't had the heart to get on since my miscarriage.

However, My beta is coming up and I'm starting to freak out. I only had one 5 day blast that was frozen last cycle and the embryologist advised against transfering it because it wasn't doing so well after the thaw. But, part of it was still alive and it's my last chance at a bio-baby. On to donar eggs after this.

Here's the thing. My doctor had me do the HCG 5000 U shot 5 days before the transfer. Then, I had to follow up with 3 1000 U shots every 3-4 days. My last one was on Friday.

The second to last 1000U shot was given on Tuesday evening and I POAS Friday afternoon, to see if it was out of my system yet, and it was negative. It wasn't even 3 full days since the last shot. So, I figured, I could test today to see if the Friday injection was out. I got a fairly clear positive. I don't want to go getting excited because I know it still could be the injection.

Does anyone else know how long it takes to for the 1000U to process in the body?

And...does anyone know of anyone that has gotten pregnant from transfering just one not so good blast?

Thanks,
Meg

A new sisterhood indeed! I was at a BBQ on Saturday and my jeans were digging in so much that I couldn't breath. I just envisioned squeezng my little embies right out! Hee hee anyway tried to secretly unbutton my pants and fold the button part inward. Thankfully I was wearing a loose top to hide it!

Meg, welcome! When was your transfer? I also had an embie that was poor quality. Embryologist told me she would just discard it but I insisted on putting it in. If it has any chance at all it would be in my body and not in the petri dish or trash can. I have one friend who was doing her third IVF. She barely produced any eggs and REs felt her egg reserve was gone. What was left they felt was poor quality. It was clear this was her last chance and she ended up having a gorgeous little boy!

Ahh, the Sisterhood of the Bulging Pants. Nice.

Megan - I have no info for you, sorry. But I'll say this, I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a true positive. What day did you transfer? I would think that a negative on Friday followed by a positive on Monday is probably a positive. Just try not to think about it if it's stressing you out. Assume it's positive and relax, so that your little one can finish snuggling in! Good luck!!

well, on the saga of the Sisterhood of the Bulging Pants - I went today morning for progestrone test and I wore the only capri that was fiting me and I had to open the button while sitting in a car. Nurse told me they will not call if level is alright and they didn't call so I am assuming everything is fine, but I wanna know, should I call? I think I am gonna call tomorrow just to be sure.

DH is going back to work tomorrow and I am feeling like little kid, all alone. going to try to keep myself superbusy.

Julianne - hey, count like me. I got new theory today is almost over so it doesn't count. then tue, wed, thur, fri. only 4 days to pass. I dont count weekend because it seems to go little faster and volla there is monday and ing that its gonna be a happy monday for both of us.

Thanks for the positive story. I'm praying that's how it works our for me. I couldn't believe they were suggesting it wasn't worth transfering a poor quality embryo, especially because they know this is it. My DH asked if there was any chance that it would work and they said yes, but very small. He was like, then why are we having this conversation. If there is even a 1% chance, we are doing it.

I'm glad he was being so strong, because I was in tears by that point. Partly because I wanted a ssuperman embryo and part from the progesterone overload.

Thanks for welcoming me to the group...I'll be praying for all of you!
Meg
