Midum, welcome back hunny! I'm sorry abput this turmoil you must be feeling and the sickness makes it all worse but I pray you feel better and the twins be ok!!

Wannabe & Mrsready, Good luck with betas today, hope the numbers are climbing high and fast!

Melissa & Sweetpea, sex is never TMI, especially when you're prohibited from having it but you don't even know for how long. So get this, I asked my clinic last week because I was wondering the same thing and they said until they release me to my ob (which takes like 8 weeks) and then it's up to him! Agh poor DH!!!

Sweetpea, praying the line gets darker soon so it's a sure BFP for you!!

to us! I am so relieved that u are okay, I am so sorry about all the troubles you are having sweetie and I prayed that God blessed u and he did! Midum u all will pull right through this I just know it! Take care of those babies and yourself!

Midum, Im so sorry to hear that there is cause for worry. Lets hope that at your upcoming ultrasound there is comfort to be found. Thats what Ill be hoping and praying for, for you.

Good afternoon ladies,

Sorry for MIA but I have been miserable with nausea. I'm so glad I work from home. It's better since I am drinking ginger ale and ing to keep something in my stomach. I have to eat crackers before I get out of bed in the morning or else I may puke. DH and I went to US appointment and I am having twins. There are two sacs and also excited to hear the two beautiful strong heartbeats. I go back on July 28th to get the second US. DH eyes got big when he heard the heartbeats, he wasn't expecting to hear so soon. He asked the tech is that a third one? she said no it's the ovary, LOL. I don't know about identical or fraternal yet. My progerstone and estrogen levels are great and my RE decrease estrace to two tabs twice a day and switched me from PIO injections to Progerstone vaginal suppositories. Thank God. My butt is sooooo sore.

Solange-- Sorry to hear you BFN. Please don't get discouraged or give up. I have been in your shoes. I understand about lack of trust in your RE. When I had my last IVF which ended in early MC, I took time to regroup and then switched clinics because I felt the RE didn't have my best interest and he was so insensitive. We invest too much energy and money to put up with such nonsense. You may want to consider looking at another clinic if you are not satisfied.

Julianne- I'm praying your embies will continue to double. Hang in there.

Melissa and Fertility-- Whohoo, congrats on your sono. It's exciting to see those sacs.

Crislyn-- Please keep us posted on journey. I completely understand what you feeling. Please take some time to regoup, honey. We are here for you.

Midum- I am praying for your babies. I thought it's normal for identicals to share the same sac? I understand you worries. Try to take it easy. I agree with you, the nausea is horrible.

Erica- Thanks for advice on preggo pops. I plan to get some this weekend.

Woo Hoo!!!! 739 today baby!!!!!!!!!! That kiddo decided to stick around

I am grinning from ear to ear!! My numbers more than doubled since Monday, and that was only 48 hours. I feel great about it.

Interestingly, my progesterone is only 8.6. They don't even normally test progesterone since I'm on the supplements but I asked them to and they said sure. The nurse said the number is somewhat low. Since I am a crazy person, I asked if maybe I should switch to shots rather than the vaginal tablets. She's going to check with the doc and get back to me if she thinks that is best. We'll see.

In the meantime, my u/s is scheduled for 7/27 at 2:15 pm and I couldn't be more excited!!!! Hurray!!!!

Congrates Gina!!! now I am in that not doubling boat. my numbers came today 615, nurse said it is fine but I am little concerned. I will go for another test on friday.

Wanna, do not worry. visit that betabase.info site - I found it really helpful. I put in your dates and it said your doubling time is 71 hours. From all my research, in 85% of healthy pregnancy, the beta doubles in 48-72 hours. So you are good!!

If it helps, here is my history. You can see I was way behind you between my 11dp5dt and 14dp5dt numbers, and today things are definitely looking up!

9dp5dt = 105
11dp5dt = 194 -- doubling time of 54.20 hours
14dp5dt = 350 -- doubling time of 84.17 hours
16dp5dt = 739 -- doubling time of 45.62 hours

Good luck on Friday. I truly think you have nothing to worry about. We know waaayyy too much than the average pregnant woman!!

Gina - Thank you so much for all the information. It really helps. I was just talking to DH and we were also talking that worrying is not gonna help but +ve thinking and taking care of myself is gonna help. So I am just gonna do that. Its gonna be alright. Thanks!

Congratulations Sweetpea! Sounds like you've got a bona fide BFP going on there!

Wanna - I'm sure your numbers are just fine. Doubling can slow and then speed up again.

Crislyn - Good to hear from you. I understand what it's like to think you're good because you've felt good for a few days and then tear up again!

Midum - Good to hear from you. I'm sorry that you're in a troubing situation, but think positive and take care of yourself. No reason it can't all work out just fine! If you think about it, 50/50 is still better odds that we all came in here with. I will pray for you!

Hope everyone else is doing great. Looks like everybody is on a good solid road to babies!

Did my repeat beta this morning. I'm down to an 11. So it's all but officially over. They gave me the choice of staying on my meds and testing again on Friday or getting off of them and coming back in a week or so just to make sure the number bottoms out.

What would you gals do? I asked the nurse if she had ever seen a number drop and then recover. She said that small dips at higher numbers can be fine (her example was if someone is at 100 then dips to 80, they could be just fine). But she's never seen anyone come back from numbers this low.

Since I can't afford another cycle, and I have the drugs already, I figured what's the harm in drugging for two more days and testing again before calling it quits? On the other hand, it's another blood test to pay for when the chances are basically zero of anything good coming of it.

I know there are stories of low betas still turning out viable pregnancies. But have any of you ever heard of a low beta getting even lower and then recovering?

The other funny thing is that I don't feel at all like I'm going to get

. With each of my last two biochemicals, I felt AF looming and this time I really don't. Strange.

That totally sucks. I think if I were you I would stay on the meds. Then you will never wonder "what if". I'd say the price of a blood test is worth the outside chance. You just never know. I will keep you in my prayers.
