I don't think you have to wait for any particular thickness for AF to show. Lord knows that she does whatever she wants, right? Mine measured in at about 4.3 right before I got AF, but again, I don't know if that means anything. For me, I had been off of the BCPs for 4-5 days before AF came along. Once she does, and you start growing your new lining, I'm not sure what level of thickness the doctors like to see before transfer. Ladies? Anybody know the answer to that one?

As for me, I've gotten the go ahead to drop the Lupron dosage and start the Estrace tabs tomorrow. Still on target for a 6/22 transfer. Anybody know what the side effects are for the Estrace? I figure that since the BCPs make me nauseous and the Lupron makes me hot, the Estrace has to do something funky, too.

I had my u/s today and we are set for transfer on 6/5. My bloodwork also came back negative for NK cells and antithyroid antibodies. We are planning to transfer 3 blasts

Sorry, I just saw that you asked me about acupuncture. I'm a little slow, it's the drugs!!

My acupuncturist will come to the RE clinic on the date of my transfer and do a session immediately before and again immediately after the transfer. To be honest, I still don't really get how acupuncture works, but my RE recommended it and I'm out of fertility money, so I wanted to give this the best shot I can.

I guess you're next on 6/5! So exciting!! I'll be for you! Let's all try the power of positivity and see if we can't make a June BFP record!

Julianne -- Thanks for the info! I don't think my acupuncturist will come with me to the clinic for the transfer -- I think she would be willing, but haven't asked my clinic if this is allowed. I think I'll just go in the morning before my appointment.

So exciting that you're starting your estrogen! I didn't take estrace, but I took delestrogen shots. No major side effects except for fatigue. I got hot flashes on lupron also -- estrogen is so much easier to take!

I too feel great positive energy for our June group! So glad we all have each other!

Julianne - In FET I will be on delestrogen but I had estrace during my fresh cycle. I didnt notice any different but hey, I was on other loads of meds to.

well, I have strated lupron from yesterday. I did get hot flashes last time. lets see how it goes.

I had a talk with my embryologist yesterday. she said my blast are graded 4AA,3AA.
-my RE said that they thaw 20 mins before transfer (apparently he gave wrong info-made me worried) embryologist said they thaw the morning of the transfer.
-I will be puting back 2, RE said they will first thaw 2 and even if one didnt survive they will thaw another 2 (again wrong info-made me worried), embryologist said the first 2 are frozen in one vial, and the other two are frozen individually so they will first thaw 2 and if only needed they will thaw another 1 and so on.
-when I had a meeting with my RE after failed cycle, I asked what type of progestron I will be using for FET, He said crinone gel(which i used in failed fresh) so I just asked about PIO and he said no gel is okay, than I had a meeting with nurse and she said, no we use PIO for for all FET(she gave me the sheet that had PIO protocol for FET) - she later discussed with RE and confirm me that I have to take PIO and its the best of all form of progestron - WHATS wrong with my RE?

wannabemommy: I hate it when doctors brush me off by giving me a vague (or worse, wrong) answer assuming that I won't check the facts on my own. It's insulting IMO.

BTW, I also had hotflashes with Lupron too. A very strange sensation to have when it was 30 degrees outside! This time around, I'll be able to hide my hotflashes because it really will be hot outside. :-)
