what are your clinic's FET success rates?

just wondering what kind of success rates for fet's your clinic list.
Mine seems low to me, and Im concerned. Im 28, and the number for under 35 is 30-40%. does that sound totally discouraging to anyone else out there?

Early on in our fertility journey I started comparing success rates using the CDC website. I had two different consultations with 2 different RE's and wanted to see how their rates compared. Right on the CDC website, it says do not use these for comparative purposes. You never know if one clinic is used to seeing "more challenging" women or harder cases versus easier ones. I know it is easier said than done

The number you quoted in your post actually seems VERY encouraging....I think my clinic was at about 26% and here I am pregnant. Also keep in mind each clinic has a different protocol for how many to transfer and at one stage (3 day, 4 day, blast, etc.) All of those things can alter rates greatly.

My best advice is that if you are happy with your RE, then stick with them.

Best of luck to you!

I agree - the 30-40% sounds high to me too! My clinic is 24% -- much lower than the 49% for fresh. I hope that works in your favor and best of luck!!

The clinic I am in the trial with has a 34% FET success rate. My local clinic has 50%+ FET success rate. We are at a crossroads now, we may be withdrawing from the trial and pay to have the last emby implanted at my local clinic.

The last clinic I was at, the success rate was <30%. At CCRM it is >50%. The success rates are largely dependent upon:

1.) freezing method
2.) state of blasts upon freezing
3.) how many embies transferred

Therefore, simply changing clinics to have the FET should not substantially affect your probability of success.

And

4.) The patients they accept into their program.

There are others.

I recommend using the SART website instead.

It has data that are one year newer (currently showing 2007, while the CDC shows 2006).

The interface is easier to use.

You can query by diagnosis. For example, you can view the stats at your clinic just for patients with endometriosis.

The reported data are the same. Clinics typically report their data to the CDC through SART. A slight difference might occur in that the CDC automatically excludes certain cycles (e.g. cycles involving frozen oocytes).

The disadvantage is that a few clinics do not report their data to SART (they report directly to the CDC), so the CDC website has a few more clinics listed.

The success rates you mentioned above sound extremely well. At my clinic the success rate is only 30%.
