seems quiet out there. Hope everybody's doing great.

This weekend was a kind of bumpy weekend in some ways, but we're through it now, and...

today is our ultrasound. Im just waiting on my surge to trigger. wow. This is really happening!

Since I didnt surge today, looks like my 4th will be free! yay!

I want updates from everybody

you konw, the biggest surprise for me is how emotional this FET has been. I think its stirred up all the feelings and stress of the IVF. I really thought I was just going to sail through. so silly.

Gosh, my friends are just driving me crazy!! Another one of our friends just found out she is pg - after like 2 months of trying...and she doens't seem to understand why it is difficult for me to be around here right now.
I will eventually be fine with it -and I am happy for them - I am just sad for us - why dont people seem to understand that!!!!!!!!!!!

She thinks I should just me my normal self around her - maybe I am being a ***** - but she has no idea how she would react if she was in my situation!!!!!!! I never thought I would be this person, and yet here I am!!!!

so, yes, sweet pea - i am totally getting the emotional side of this too - i think it all just takes a huge toll on us!
i pray that if we are all strong enough, we will make to the other side!!!!

Lots of updates from me. I decided to switch REs
I don't think I will be going through FET this month(I am not sure of it yet.....I haven't see Aunt Flo stop by yet.....I have been fickle minded for the last few days). I went to see another RE last Friday and he decided to put me on a diet try another IVF this in December. I am driving myself nuts thinking abt this. Any suggestions? My biggest concern is another disappointment. If somebody could tell me what is wrong with me.....I can deal with it.

JustOne--theres nothing wrong with you. Im just as crazy. IF is such a hard path. Dont judge yourself. Just do your best to get through it. Use lots of fun distractions. Take every shot you can. So if youre going to do antoher IVF in Dec, are you going to use your frosties before then, or just create a new batch?

Amison-its totally natural to hate fertile people at times like these. During my IVF my little sister called to tell me she was pregnant, 12 weeks. I wanted to tear her to bits. I didnt. (happily) now my daughter has a cousin close in age.

My appt. went well. My lining is 9mm already. Great.

ONly thing is now Im tottering between two or one embryo. Which will it be? we simply dont know. My clinic is conservative, so they always suggest one for my age group, but they do what you ask, (up to two). What should I do??

I wonder if three under 18 months would kill me.

Well got a call from my clinic today. They thawed all 4 embys and 2 survived! Will have transfer day after tomorrow. Hoping for the best.

Welcome to the new girls!

As you all know, I'm on BCP atm but today I started bleeding. This hasn't happend with my other transfers so I'm a bit worried about my lining now because I only just made it last time. Apart from that, everything has been fine. I start my Synarel (nasal spray) in 2 days (I'm not looking forward to that, it's gross!) and have my post op appointment on the same day for my lap surgery so hopefully that goes well.

Sarah - I am sure everything will be fine - try not to stress - we all know what that does to our bodies - however I know all too well that is easier said than done!!

Sarah, I had lots of breakthrough bleeding when I was on BCPs before my IVF. What does your clinic say about it?

This is my last day of summer school! YEA!! Although I am not really teaching, just monitoring those who failed the entire year - they have to complete a self-tutorail computer course, so I get to play on the internet while I am here! Not too bad..

It must have been difficult for you to hear that your sister was pg - at least you had a cycle that worked and now, like you said, the cousins are close in age

I am getting so frustrated waiting! But am trying to be patient... ALL of my friends have kids -- some two and three!!!

So since this is my 1st FET - I have a couple of questions... I wil go in on Monday for b/w and us and then start lupron... finish the bcp, get a period and then what???
ovualation is still an important part of the FET - i am assuming...
so, you are wating for your surge, just like in a normal cycle?

SweetPea - My husband did not like my last RE. I liked 'em though! They were not bad! I decided to get a second and a third opinion to rest my mind a little. The second doctor spoke highly of him! And maybe that is b'coz he uses the same labs as him. But the third doctor hates him with a passion. But both the second and third did agree that my estrogen levels were through the roof......during the day of HCG injection. It was actually close to 6000. He should have advised me to wait and should have frozen all the blasts.....Instead of transfering 2 AA blasts. Through all this.....my husband decided to keep himself out of the game. He lost all his trust in doctors. I am trying to stay positive. The new doctor thinks very poorly of my RE. I need to make up my mind. And I need to think thinks over the weekend.

ok, so this is my first FET too, and I have no idea how medicated ones work. For my age and situation, a natural cycle is what was chosen.
so... the cycle has to be an ovulatory cycle so your body is in the swing of a possible pregnancy. That way if you conceive all the right hormones are there, since there was an egg...
I think they trigger to make SURE the follice ovulates, or maybe its to soup up all the pre pregnancy hormones so the body is really REALLY ready..

and after I ovulate, (with the trigger shot supplementing the natural HCG trigger) Then we wait five days, (my embies are day five and six) and then comes the transfer.

I dont know much about lupron and BCPs within a FET.

yeah, I was ticked when I heard about my little sis. She was 23, and had been married only a few months. But why should I be mad? we were something simmilar with our first. I guess IF makes us all crazy

Wow. I dont know how I would feel after hearing all that about a previous IVF cycle! You must be feeling lots of things....!
How do you like the new RE. Do you feel like its a fit?
And by the way, I understand the loss of faith in Drs that your DH feels. IF is so hard. It feels like no one can help! Esp after a failed cycle.

I really hope that this new Dr. is fantastic, and that his new plan is the one that works with your body.

So have you decided to cancel this month for sure?
My first impulse, of course, is hoping you wont, so You'll stick around with us But I know youll do whats best.
