Can I join you group???
Hi everyone...
I was on this forum a lot during my last IVF cycle, but haven't had the heart to get on since my miscarriage. However, My beta is coming up and I'm starting to freak out. I only had one 5 day blast that was frozen last cycle and the embryologist advised against transfering it because it wasn't doing so well after the thaw. But, part of it was still alive and it's my last chance at a bio-baby. On to donar eggs after this. Here's the thing. My doctor had me do the HCG 5000 U shot 5 days before the transfer. Then, I had to follow up with 3 1000 U shots every 3-4 days. My last one was on Friday. The second to last 1000U shot was given on Tuesday evening and I POAS Friday afternoon, to see if it was out of my system yet, and it was negative. It wasn't even 3 full days since the last shot. So, I figured, I could test today to see if the Friday injection was out. I got a fairly clear positive. I don't want to go getting excited because I know it still could be the injection. Does anyone else know how long it takes to for the 1000U to process in the body? And...does anyone know of anyone that has gotten pregnant from transfering just one not so good blast? Thanks, Meg

Ok, I tried to update the list (not an easy task I might add!). If I forgot you, or you want to update yourself, please do the following:
1) Copy the entire list 2) Click Reply - then paste the list 3) Make your changes 4) Below where you type you will see the option: Show your signature - remove the check mark (this will keep the list clean) 5) Submit Let's try and keep the list as just a list. If you want to tell us about what's going on with you, please do a 2nd post. I know Sweetpea and I would really appreciate everyone updating the list.

The list looks great... thanks MsFitzy!
I got the call last night and actually started my lupron shots yesterday... I overlap with BCP until Sunday and the stop those... After AF comes, she said they would give me a better list of what is to come.. but if I am counting correctly, I think I will be transferring the last week of July? Who knows! At least we are moving forward!!!

Amison - I'm still on BCPs and start Lupron today. With my calendar, it puts my transfer on the 8th, but that all depends on when AF arrives again, and how my lining looks in a few weeks. Good luck with everything.

So we are just a couple of days apart, MsFitzy - that is fun! I have really no idea what I am calculating exactly, just guessing mostly, since this is my first FET and it is so different from a fresh IVF - by your calculations, I should be early Aug. too!
You're right, it totally depends on when AF gets here! They did say they were stopping my pills a couple of days early - but Sunday (when they said to stop) is my last "real" pill anyway. Good Luck to all........

Amison-loving your updates. Im so excited for you. Isnt it great when you finally get some kind of a schedule? ![]() Amyva!! Are you transfering today??? THAT IS SO EXCITING!! Id love to hear all about it. including if you are doing bedrest, or eating anything special, and how youre passing the time now in your official 2ww!! ps. The prometirum makes me so munchy!! Hi ladies! I won't add myself to the list since I won't transfer until until the end of August but I will be cheering you all on.
I just had my consult to go over my protocol which is a natural FET. I won't be on any meds except an HCG shot and then prometrium. Please keep updating - I love reading about everyone's experiences, especially since RE's all do things a little differently.

Thanks MsFitzy for the updated list !
I had my transfer today - 2 "perfect" thawed embryos Now I'm in the dreaded 2WW. It's been a hard few days . My clinic does PIO for frozen cycles (they have switched over to Endometrin for fresh cycles). So, this was my first time on it. I started the progesterone in sesame oil on Friday night. Starting on Sunday, I noticed my arms were itching, but didn't think much about it. By that evening, my arms and legs felt horrible and the itching was so bad I couldn't sleep. I have a small red rash (almost looks like goosebumps) all over. It felt horrible! Anyway, it ended up being an allergy to the PIO shots! Luckily, there is a specialty pharmacy in town that compounds the progesterone in olive oil. I finally got that yesterday. My body is starting to feel a tiny bit better - but it's still really bumpy and itchy. As a result, I wasn't really that excited about the transfer - too many other things going on! My clinic requires 1 day of bedrest - but not strict bedrest. They said it was ok to move around a bit, sit up in bed or the couch, walk around a tiny bit. Sweatpea, you asked about a special diet. Nope, I'm going to continue on like normal in most ways....What about yourself? As for other instructions given to me - no lifting over 25 pounds. Light exercise, aerobics, swimming is ok. No alcohol or caffeine. Anyway, I'm now on my 24 hours of "bedrest." The plan is to watch some tv, read a book, and just take it easy. I'm usually always on the go, so taking it easy is actually really difficult for me!
