SARAH! I'm so happy you are joining us. I still remember how you were my inspiration during my IVF cycle. Thanks for all your help back then. I hope I can return the favor.
Sweatpea - I would totally take control over the schedules, but I'm doing my summer work and hardly see a computer right now. I mostly see this thread on my phone. So hopefully someone else will take charge. About royal jelly - I tried taking it for awhile, but it literally gagged me everytime I tried to eat it. I recently threw it away. Good luck if you try it out. Hope everyone is having a relaxing summer so far. Talk to all of you soon!

Ok, Ive never done one of these before and am a very mediocre secretary for the children's sunday school at our church. Im just not on top of paper work type tasks-ever, but here's my best go at it. Dont be shy. Please tell me if I have you in the wrong category. ..and say where you want to be. I didnt know where to put most people, so I just stuck them in the waiting for aunt flow section--I think there is someone else out there on birth control already, but didnt have time to check... Sweatpea - here's some suggestions to make it flow better:
1) Put them in this order: Ready to Go On BC Transfers Betas BFP 2) You can choose to not put your signature on the update as well. Helps make the list easier to read. Just some tips I picked up while being in charge of the clomid group. If I find some time, I will try and take over. But you are doing well so far!

Thanks ladies,
I'm doing a natural cycle so my experiece will be a bit different to yours. All I'll have is the trigger shot! I'm rearing to go! I am trying naturally right now (I'm CD12) so it's great to be trying and if it doesn't work then a FET cycle. Sweatpea-I'm from New Zealand and don't get the bachelor/bachelorette show until about 6 months later but I do love to watch it!

You know, my cycle is going to be natural too. I think most people are on birthcontrol, and meds, so I put that into the sched, but all Im going to have is the HCG trigger, and progesterone support. Im happy to have at least one partner in a FET au naturalle, (or almost). ![]() Do you have any idea of your schedule yet? When you know when your transfer will be (or have a general idea, I will just bump you to the transfer list.) We were trying this last month too. I wont know how it went until late next week, but Im not expecting much. Luck to you! New Zealand huh? How neat! Which island are you form? as a child we once vacationed on the lower island. It was gorgeous. We started in Christchurch, and then went accross the center and up and down the breathtaking west coast. I'll never forget it! Nice to have a Kiwi on board! Now that Im thinking about it, There were some botanical gardens in Christchuch that were so beautiful that I remember thinking that that was what heaven was going to be like ![]()

Sweatpea-Ya we can be natural cycle budies together!
I live in CHRISTCHURCH and yes it is beautiful here. It's the middle of winter though and it's bloody cold! I also love the botanicals and go there all the time. My FET cycle is Get AF around the 26th, call clinic, wait till CD 10 then do blood test for a couple of day to find out when i will ovulate, go in and get the trigger (I will be trying naturally to catch this egg also) then 6 days after ovulation i go and get my baby!!!! (I have 6 day Blastacycts) In NZ they only do 1 blastacyst per cycle so that is why I will try naturally to hopefully get twins!! How about you?

Hi girls!
Sweetpea – great job with the schedule! I saw what MsFitzy wrote about royal jelly and I’ve heard before that it tastes gross, that’s one of the reasons I didn’t try it (I don’t have a strong stomach). I just saw recently though that you can get it in tablet form. MsFitzy – Thank you and you’re welcome! I was worried that people would have forgotten me cause I’ve gone MIA a couple of times over the last year! I’m so glad that we ended up on the same thread! It has to be our time for a take home baby (for all of us!). Leolady – We are neighbours! Lol! I’m from Australia! Good luck ttc naturally, I hope it works for you and you don’t need to worry about the FET! About me – I’m going in for my appointment in about 3 hrs to get the schedule so I’ll let you all know as soon as I get home. One thing that I’m scared of is that he’ll want me back on the metformin, which means that it’ll be 3 months before we can do the FET. I’m going to reason with him that my cysts have just been drilled so technically I don’t have pcos at the moment (I don’t know if that’s how it works but it sounds good in my head! Lol!). I’ll write back soon. xoxoxo

Hi Sarah, Hi neighbour!
Gosh sorry for your losses. This FET cycle will be the take home baby! Is it the same in Australia for 1 embryo transfer??

Hi! It is the same over here unfortunately. I spent ages argueing with my old doctor because I wanted to transfer 2. She wouldn't let me but for my last FET, I swapped doctors and this new guy has only recently come to australia so when I told him I wanted 2 put in he was ok with it. He tried to talk me out of it at first but I said to him that I didn't want to cancell this cycle if we only defrost 1 and it doesn't survive thawing. We came to a compromise that we'll defrost 2 and if they both make it we'll transfer both but if only 1 makes it, we'll transfer 1. The nurses weren't happy because it went against protocal but he had the final say! lol! I just hope he's willing to do it again.

Sarah-So how many snowbabies do you have?
Good luck. My IVF was a private cycle and I had 2 fresh blastacycsts, I put my foot down and told them to back off. But these FET cycles are Government funded so because they are footing the bill I can't be to demanding. I've very greatful to be on the Government funded (was on the list for years) Australia has this also I think right?

Hi! I had my appointment. I didn't get all of the dates yet because their printer failed and they couldn't print out the plan but I know that I start on the pill tomorrow! I'll be on that for 21 days or something and starting all of the meds around then. I get the plan with all the official dates on it tomorrow afternoon so I'll post it then. He agreed to put 2 blasts back and I don't have to go on metformin!
![]() Leolady - I have 5 snowbabies, soon to be 3! That's great that your government funds it! My surgery was fully funded but with the IVF and anything like that we only get a rebate through medicare which is still part of the government. I ended up about $2000 out of pocket for the full IVF and about $900 for the FET. We have a medicare safety net over here so if I spend about $1400 out of pocket, the safety net will refund 80% of any medical treatments for the rest of the year. The 20% that Medicare doesn't cover we can claim on tax as well. It's pretty good, I didn't realise how lucky we were until I joined this board and saw how much it costs in other countries. Even the meds are cheap here, I think I only paid about $30 for the injectables because they're subsidised as well.
