Sweet pea - congrats on twins. I read on another board you were kinda wishing for that so, hooray!!!! the positive stories get everyone through this insanity.

Sarah - I've read where even low betas double and sometimes people just implant later. so just keep the faith and know that if this is meant to be those numbers will just keep rising. your story is so crazy though about negative and then positive.

Amaya - thinking about you too!!!

Tara - please send us an update ASAP. I know everyone is on pins and needles waiting to hear what the US and RE says.

Malone - praying for your BETA tommorrow!!!

Justone - praying for you BETA in just 2 more days!!

Amison - how is your 2ww wait going???

AFM - just been on a rampage of stuff. Decided I am going to go back to work in WA since DS will be a year and it will get me out of the house some so I've been job searching and home searching. It has been pretty exciting and stressful at the same time. We get to go and get DH from AL in just about a month and I am so excited I cannot stand it. Plus it is our 7th anniversary this month.

I did have a question for your girls!!! When will I start my period??? Last time I started 2 days after my beta. But this time it is so different. I had all those cramps and mostly just on my left side and then on day 7-8 just crazy burning cramps and then everything just STOPPED. Then of course I had my beta and stopped my meds on Friday. Now I don't feel anything. Dont' feel AF coming on, not moody.....just this normal me feeling.....Actually feeling better than ever!!!
So help!!!

Do you believe in signs?

Hi gals -
I wanted to say "Congrats!" to all the BFP's out there on our thread. That is soooooooooo wonderful!! Also, thinking about a lot of you still on the journey of pregnancy. My husband and I decided to go for one last IVF in October (anyone want to start a new thread who is also doing a fresh cycle??? ) and we also have our plan B ready to go. (Like you Seay!!)

Anyway, we plan on getting some furry babies , (we currently don't have any pets) and plan to travel the world. We already have plans for Italy next year to celebrate my big 4-0!

Anyway, I have a lot of faith in God and his plan, and I specifically asked God for a sign yesterday in church to help me on our journey of IVF. I asked Him to give me some direction if we continue with this journey. I know this sounds silly, but remember our Plan B is to get pets, so this morning at 6:30 a.m. something was scratching at our front door.........behold a furry, little scrappy thing of a dog when I opened the door. Is that a sign??? Is God telling me to give up the fight and just go with Plan B or what?? I would love your thoughts on this. I guess I'm just so scared going back through another round of IVF and all that work. So, just curious if anyone is a believer in signs or if I'm going crazy.

Arie -

I totally believe in signs. I ask for them all of time.

I have 3 dogs and I wouldn't be able to get through life without them. They listen better than anyone else.

Maybe a "little friend" doesn't mean one path or another....It might just mean you need some unconditional love.

Good luck in your journey!

Well this is the end of the line for us. It was a MC. I just don't get it. 2 in a row? I question God. What way does he want me to go? Did he forget about me?
I am sorry I just am so gutted!
Thank you all for listening!

Ariestar - I do feel like God sends us signs or opens doors. I think he felt some of your pain and thought this little dog could comfort you. I don't think it was to choose between the two but instead for you to just take care of him and love him. Pets can really give you that comfort!!!

Tara - Girl, I am sooooo sorry. I know you must be wondering so many things but. Take heart in knowing that this pregnancy was not going to be a good one and that there woudl have been something wrong with the baby and that is why you MC. Pregnancies don't take because something is not right with the baby. As a Pediatric RN, I see many families that have a huge struggle in taking care of special needs children. They are still blessings from God, but I do believe that pregnancies fail because they just are not right. Please do not loose faith or think God has forgotten about you. There are tons of people in the Bible that had to deal with infertility - Sarah, Hannah, Rachel..........but they all were humbled and prayed and were faithful. We all have so many blessings in our lives. I know it is hard to understand.

Last night I wrote down all the things I have prayed for that have been true blessings. This has really helped me see that God has not forgotten about me because he has answered MANY of my other prayers.
Sending you tons of

Malone - Good Luck Today!!!

AFM..........woke up with this AM......That confirms I am really really really not pregnant. LOL!!!But boy am I glad I have some Darvocet because ibuprofen could not touch what I am feeling today!!!I think I could eat an entire Chocolate Cake this morning........but probably would not feel better afterwards!!!

Hey everyone!

Tara- I am so sorry - I know that no words can make you feel any better right now and I totally get the questioning God and faith - I makes no sense for us to have to suffer so much. I guess our faith is truly tested when things are "down" that is when it is the most difficult to keep our faith. (if that makes sense) If you need anything - let me know -I will be here

Ariestar - what a story! I love it! I think you should get a puppy for sure! I have two and they drive us crazy, but we just love them to pieces! We got our 2nd dog after our 1st IVF failed. Kind of a consolation, I guess! He is a monster - in a good way, of couse

Sarah - I am glad things are moving along for you! Sounds like all good news from "down under" !!!!

Malone - good luck !

Seay - I love what you said in your last post about the women in the bible - and your attitude is amazing. I am sure you DS is helping get you thru this time... I will have to ask you more about your adoption, so curious!!!! Would love to go that route too

AFM- Just patiently waiting! I think my beta will be on Friday, although I wll know more for sure this afternoon. I went in for more bw this morning - a hormone check- I suppose. I am not sure if I have any symptoms or not - sometimes I think I do and then I feel nothing. No sore bbs, but at night I feel kind of "ick" - BUT that could also be the progesterone. So just trying not to let my mind get the best of me Want to enjoy my last week before school starts !!!! YUK!!!

I am heading to Springfield with my mom today for a little get away. We are going to check out all the Abe & Mary Lincoln stuff... I have never been! It should be a fun little girls trip

Heart

Tara: I'm so sorry. It just isn't fair. I'm praying that God gives you the strength as you see this one through and continue on this journey.

Sarah: Congratulations! I pray that your numbers jump for next BETA!

Amison: Any word on official BETA yet?

Malone: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Ariestar: I am a firm believer in signs! I agree with Malone though...what does your heart tell you?

Seay: Ugh...cramping with AF! What is your next step on this journey besides moving to Washington for 1 year?

AFM: I've just been on an emotional roller coaster. I had my nieces with me since Sunday so that helped a bit. My BETA level was 6.5 on Sunday. I haven't stopped all meds yet because it is still positive but I go in for my second BETA today. My nurse was very honest with me on Sunday and said that it was very low but they want to be sure it is or isn't viable. I am grateful though that for 4 days I saw those 2 lines, even if they were ever so faint. That glimmer of hope gives me the strength to continue on this journey. We will have to wait at least 4 months, though, given our financial situation at the moment (me not working anymore to go back to grad school). I'll post later today with today's BETA results. Thank you all for reading/listening. This isn't fair, but I take solace in the fact that I know we will keep trying. And I haven't started AF yet either...

Thank you guys so much! You are all sweet. We are trying to take it one day at a time and process all these emotions.
My RE is sending me for some tests to rule out clotting issues. He does not think I do but we have look into all avenues.
I have PCOS and we don't always make the best embryos. I still have 8 and we can do a few more cycles.
I wish you all the best and healthy pregnancy and healthy babies!

Tara - I am so sorry for your loss, I can honestly say I know exactly the feeling and it sucks, it sucks big time. I cried when I first read your post about the bleeding and white/gray sac passing..I knew exactly what it was because I had the same thing 2 months ago...it was super hard for me to reply without you either confirming or denying. I sure hope you try again, I am sure God has a plan for you, just give it time. It took a lot for me to come back so soon after losing all 3 last time, same exact thing, seeing the bleeding and then the white/gray sac, I knew. Be strong, spend lotsa time with DH and come back when you are ready. It will happen, somehow someway we all have to have faith in what we want and believe.

Cool

Mel You are so sweet.
That sac is just undeniable. It is the worst thing. The heartbreak I hope gets better.

Do mind me asking do you take Metformin?

My RE thinks that there is a good one in there somewhere but it does not make it any easier. I know that many PCOS don't always make great eggs. I have asked my RE 100x and he claims that my eggs are ok.
Who knows I guess there will be a reason to all this and one day we will know why.

Thank you again! I wish you the best!
