Hi there. I have been a lurker on this thread since I had my FET July 26th. I was to nervous to actually join since I had a failed FET the month before. In between the failed cycle and this BFP one, I had a hysteroscopy and "mini"d&c (a light scraping of the lining) My clinic said that they were seeing an increase of pregnancy rates of 10-15% following this procedure. My insurance covered it (and they cover nothing fertility related) I ended up having several polyps removed. Good luck with whatever you decide to do I just wanted to say that I am a big fan of the hysteroscopy.

Also, congrats Sarah. I remember you from the IUI boards from what seems like forever ago. Good luck.

AmyK - Congrats on you BFP and THANK YOU so much for posting. I feel that is another sign. It is just amazing how you can just let something go and then for some reason it just comes right back and slaps you in the face. I trust my RE so much and have felt him to just be so honest and true in his practice. I love all the staff and felt from the beginning this was where our little bambino was going to be helped along. THANK YOU for your story.

One thing is for sure.....we will have to make a decision next week.!! I will keep you girls posted.

Thank you again for all your support!!!

Thanks for everyones support!

Hi all,

AmyK - how amazing! Thanks for sharing your information. We need to be our own best advocates. Learning what works for someone else could end up helping all of us.

Amaya - your words of encouragement are wonderful. I had two chemical pregnancies and pushed for the repeated loss bloodwork. They did find two types of blood clotting disorders. I would ask if there are additional tests you can have. I am definitely all for a plan, but maybe you could take a month or two off and then decide if January or the summer is a better fit? I always think I want to wait 6 months and then I can't wait any longer after two.

Amison - good luck on your beta!

Sarah - Congrats on your blessing! Things will continue to go right into place. I am so happy for you!

Seay - What an offer, I don't think I could refuse it either. It must really mean your RE has tremendous confidence in you. He/She sees a lot of patients, so I am sure they know you are a great candidate to try again. Good luck!

Arie - just knowing that others have considered the option, makes me feel better. Best wishes in your fresh cycle.

AFM - hung out with my mom yesterday. She is still all in. I think she is really excited about it actually.
It is legal in my state, but not sure how my RE will react. I will know more on Tuesday.

to all you ladies. I wish I could meet some of you in person because you rock!

I still went for beta #2 this morning, but I am not expecting great news.

I am trying to stay positive, but am really upset.

I'm so sorry Amison. Hang in there - plenty of girls have had early bleeding and then went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I'm for a high beta!

Just got the call. My beta dropped to a 9.
We are heartbroken. We really felt like this was our time... I am beginning to wonder if there will ever be a time for us.... My faith is shaken - I am trying not to feel that way, but am so sad at the moment.

I wish there was some sort of explanation for all of this....

Shatterd :(

Amison - I'm so so sorry. I'm right there with you.

I never thought I'd be saying this again. I started bleeding bright red a day and a half ago. I didn't have any cramping, just really sharp pains. The same pains I had with my ectopic. I waited to see if they'd go away but it just got worse and I started feeling weak. I got my sister to drive me to the hospital yesterday and found out I had an ectopic in my right tube and it had already ruptured. I ended up in emergency surgery last night and they removed my tube and the baby. I'm so upset, now there's no chance of us ever falling naturally. This is just so unfair. I really thought it was our turn.

What happened to all of us?? I am sitting here crying my eyes out for you, Sarah - I am so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I am sooo sorry about the tube - it is heartbreaking....

I am having a difficult time with all of this...
How are all of you doing?

I feel like this journey is breaking me down so much. I know they say God doesn't give you more than you can handle, but I don't think I can handle this. I am a total mess today. I feel like I am pounding my head against the wall with each attempt. Each time the pg ends in a different, horrible way. I feel like it is some kind of cruel joke. To have a chemical, ectopic that almost killed me, and a m/c is ridiculous - some people never experience ANY of this!!!

I am kind of angry (can you tell!!)
We all deserve happiness from this journey -and I am feeling less hopeful than ever. I know I just need time to heal, but right now it is so painful.

Sending hugs and love to you all,
Amy

I wanted to say I am sorry for all of your troubles, I understand the pain you all feel.

I know it is hard to understand why it does or does not work. As women we feel this is something we should be able to do, naturally. When we can't, it makes us feel as if we are inadequate, trust me, this is the thought that goes through my head each time we are unsuccessful.

Please know that there is a path for each of us, and some of them bumpier than others. Know that you have lots of friends, love, and prayers within this board, these boards have been a saving grace for me both failed cycles. I know I am still in the waiting period for my next cycle, so who knows you may all be telling me the same thing in 3 weeks.

I hope you all will take all the time you need and try to find the path that leads you all to what you are meant to do, whatever that may be.
