Ladies, thank you so much for all the support. I REALLY mean it. Its felt great. What an incredible network of empathetic women this is. I think that IVF is God's personal miracle for me, and each woman yearning for a baby, and struggling to achieve pregnancy.
Thank you so much for all the responses. I needed them!
Anther great thing for me has been the first few BFP's showing up on the June thread! Isnt it exciting? Dreams come true every month here. How remarkable, and how hopeful!

Leolady, Im with you! AF is due this week and Im really hoping to be pregnant, but trying not to get my hopes up. Im pretty sure I got the timing right with ovulation this time bc I used the clear blue easy one step digital test which is impossible to mis read, but who knows. The great part is that the FET is a wonderful plan B!

Heather, I havent heard of that specific test, but it is definatley most important that you and your DH feel totally aligned and in agreement within yourselves, and together as a couple about whatever step you take next. If you feel like this is your best next step, then go for it! Your RE should respect whatever you decide. You are the customer, he is the paid employee. Be nice, but don't forget it. Good luck to you! I hope that you are able to learn something from the results that you find!

Well everyone, its a pretty big paper shuffling week over here: money due Wed, Blood tests in the morning tomorrow, notarized forms due friday, and prescriptions to be faxed in soon too. The momentum is just starting to hit. wow. A another chance. What else to feel but awe?

Anyone who has done a FET before and felt period like symptoms during their 2WW? I remember feeling like this after my IVF which turned out to be a good thing but the hormone regimen is different this go round and I don't know if it's because of the vaginal progesterone or the estrogen.

I can't help but feeling that it didn't work but I guess we will see in one week!

Oh Jewellc, the wait is so hard. Im dreading it, myself.

Both times Ive been pregnant, the pregnancy has felt like an oncoming period. That just makes it more impossible to predict! and those drugs do so many strange things! I bet youre going crazy. are you giong to POAS? and if so, when? I have a good feeling about you though

Im praying for your BFP!

Jewellc-Oh you poor thing.
I'm going to be just like you when I'm in my 2WW.
It's those bloody drugs messing with you.
The progesterone use to mess with me!
Did you only transfer 1 embryo on your IVF cycle?

Are you going to test before the blood test?

Sweatpea-What day is AF due?

Mine is due on the 26th!

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, but I read daily. I just read it on my phone and it's way to difficult to post from it. Anyways, not too much going on with me. I was suppose to get AF today, but she's a no show. I caved and bought some cheap pregnancy tests yesterday. Both yesterday and today have been negative, so I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before AF arrives. I was having some minor cramping (unusual for me because I never have cramping!) last night and thought AF would be here this morning. I'm actually quite happy that it hasn't started because I really need to delay this cycle as much as possible. I won't have all of the money together until July 15 (payday) and right now I'm about a week too late for that payment. Luckily my doctor's office is pretty cool and I can post date a check. But still scary!

I'm headed to Washington DC on Thursday for a girl's only trip with my sister, mom and 9 year old niece. Looking forward to it, but also sad that my DH will not be with me.

Hope everyone is doing well. It's hotter than H**l here in Texas and I hate it! Love you all!

MsFitzy- here's hoping theres no period on its way! Sorry its so hot in Texas. Here in the Bay Area the weather is unexpectedly mild. which is nice. I hate heat! its been around 70, and very coastal feeling.

leolady, and everyone,
ok, so my period was due wed, but showed up two days early, and arrived today. Surprise. It was a 29 day cycle, as opposed to 30 or 31, which is on the outside, but is what I had prepared myself for.

So, I called my clinic, and they moved everything up. I have an ultrasound monday the 29th to see the lining and that its an ovulatory cycle. wow. Thats really soon for me.

This morning I did my two outstanding bloodtests, and DH sent in the fee.
So I guess the right thing to say is NOW WE"RE COOKIN'!

I think my baby has an ear infection. Need to take her in.

Hi everyone!
I am happy to say that I got my calendar today.
My RE is switching me from dexamethasone to predisone (I do not think I spelled that correctly) sorry. Has anyone taken that? What do you think? My RE said maybe it will help to not have another MC. Any thoughts?
My last BCP is 6/27/09 Lupron starts on 6/24/09 and the rest of the meds follow. Delestrogen 2 times a week. I will be doing Intralipids as well. Has anyone done them before I have.

I hope everyone is doing welll, I will do more personals this week but I have a huge huge headache and can not look at the screen, I am sorry. I am hoping everyone is doing well.

Hi Leolady,

Yes, I only transferred one embryo with my IVF cycle. We did the shared risk program which gave us up to 6 tries. At the time we thought we only had 2 embryos, the Dr said that both were perfect and that we would most likely end up with twins, I have a small frame and thought that it would be best to just carry one so that's what we did and it worked the first time.

I didn't find out until I called to start the FET cycle that we had 2 snowflakes so we were surprised and this time we decided that if they both made it that we would implant both but only one did so hopefully that one took! We will see.

Sweetpea, I bought two cheap pregnancy tests at the dollar store, I know it's silly but I've already done one, just hoping...of course negative. It looks like you pretty much have to wait the full 2ww anyway with the sticks so I'll try the second one this weekend.

I'm still on the rollercoaster, one minute I think positive and the very next its negative thoughts, I hope your "good feeling" is right!

I understand. I have such mixed emotions right now too. we lost a twin last time, and even though we did get outr beautiful baby, I did, and still do mourn the other. That sounds silly to allot of people, but its the way I am and the way its been for me.

I am scared to death of a failed try.

Esp. since today my super fertile friend w three kids called to say she has miscarried, and she wonders if I would mind watching her kids tomorrow for her D&C. Poor thing. I feel so sad for her.

Im watching her kids right now too, to help. She wants to make sure that the little one really is gone before they take it out, and is at the Dr. for an ultrasound. This is a hard time to see someone dealing with a mc. Up close and personal, since Im on day two of my actual FET cycle.`I have to watch my thoughts so carefully.

So, JustOne4Me, I really hope the best for you too, and do whatever it takes to cope with the whole process. You are not alone.

Hello all. I haven't posted in a while. I got my implantation failure results and all blood work levels are normal. Good news for me but unfortunately no additional answers as to why I haven't been successful with past IVFs. Maybe embryo quality? I don't know, it is so frustrating not knowing!!! I'm still waiting for AF, probably end of this week, beginning of next. I hope to have more to report then.

Sunny_Skies: I'm actually moving to PA (Pittsburgh) soon. I'm looking for a place to live and will be out there in July in preparation for the move. Any tips on neighborhoods, things to see, etc.? I'm going to grad school so will be out there for a couple of years. Thanks!

Jewell: How are you doing?? Hope all is well and that you are hanging in there!

Sweetpea: Cold feet...oh no! But it is normal, especially this being such a 'do or die' experience, or at least so it seems.

Heather: You need to know in your heart that you are doing everything within your reach possible to get that BFP! Let us know how it goes. I'm interested in hearing more about it.

MsFitzy: Enjoy your trip to DC! Have you heard about RESOLVE's Advocacy Day (June 25th)? They are campaigning in Washington DC to bring awareness (and medical coverage) for infertility treatments. Check it out if you are interested!

I received a verbal schedule today and I will have US Sunday July 19th and transfer on Friday the 24th so I have the weekend to rest. It is exciting and scary after what happened last month. Hopefully this time will be a success.

July FET

Hi Ladies, I am on BCP now and looking at a possible FET date of July 24. I had my er on 3/14 and 5dt on 3/19. We had 7 eggs, 6 fertilized, transferred 2 and froze 4. 2w later Went for 7w u/s and there was yolk sac but no h/b =( Went back 1wk later and still no h/b, blighted ovum. I started BCP 6/4/09 next will be Lupron, Estrace, and PIO. I am so nervous for fet and still so sad about my lost baby. We have been trying for so long and were so happy when we got preg. I am starting acupuncture again tommorrow and looking forward to it. I think it helped to relax me last time. I am so anxious for my FET and scared my frozen embryos won't make it. We froze them on day 6, all are blasts. I am so happy to have somewhere to talk about all of this.
I am thinking of all of you and sending lots of baby dust!!!

Hi! I'm new to this site but not new to the process of IVF/FET. We have done two fresh transfers and two frozen transfers. Luckily we were able to get and stay pregnant with one of the fresh. We are happy parents of a wonderful little boy, 2. We are getting ready to try another FET on July 1. We have 4 frozen embys and will thaw them and let them go to blast. Hopefully 1 or 2 will live and we will be blessed again. I'm taking Synarel, baby aspirin and tomorrow I will switch to 3 estrogen patches. I'm so glad I found this site. It's nice to know I'm not alone.
