orgasm during sleep?? how to prevent?

this is my second FET this year. the first one was a BFN. I had had an orgasm 3dpt with that one.

the doctor just transferred two more yesterday and told me to take benadryl to prevent an orgasm during sleep. it didn't help!! last night i had an orgasm, possibly two. it's so frustrating to be busting my butt trying to make this work only to have something i have no control over happen.

i've read that it could be the high levels of homones in my system right now, although this has happened prior to any treatments as well, although not as often or predictable as during treatment.

i'm thinking my only option is sleep deprivation of some sort.

are there any other options available? anyone else have this happen and still had a BFP?

one more thing: does implantation make a BFN less likely or more likely after an orgasm?

thanks, jaime

I had one 2 or 3 dpt with my IVF and I got my BFP! You're right in that you can't do anything about it, so try not to stress. I heard an analogy during my 2ww that really helped me relax about what I was doing. Someone said that the enbryo was like a fuzzy ball on a velcro wall. It can move around, but can't come off the lining easily unless it doesn't implant. That reassured me when I stressed about running a few steps in a parking lot, straining with constipation, etc. Good luck and to you!

This too happened to me with each of my pregnancies.

Which was so wierd because while it's happened before it never happened so frequently and with such intensity.

I too was freaked out and wondering how to stop somehting you can't control...but after my first with it happening, I wasn't so stressed about it anymore.

Enjoy it while it lasts girl!!! Try not to freak out about it.

I always went with the philosphy..."if it's going to happen it will happen...regardless of what I do"...but of course general pre-cautions were taken.

This happened to me last night and I was up crying for about an hour at 4am that if this, our 1st IVF fails, that it will be all my fault.

It was def an arousing dream - but I am not 100% sure I came to a full climax. But I had AF like cramping after - similar to what I was feeling all day.

Yesterday I was 3dp3dt....

I called my RE and she said the odds of me climaxing at the exact time of implantation are so slim. It was out of my control and there was nothing I could do.

I did read on some sites that its a symptom of early PG.

Who knows ?? Still pretty upset about it.
