I don't have a calendar yet... My RE wanted me to skip a month so we can do a natural cycle... so I am do for my period around the 28th and when I start I go in for monitoring until I ovulate on my own then I do FET 6dpo... This is the plan just don't have definite dates until AF shows....

Counting the days til my appt with my RE next tuesday. My SIL asked me why we were not trying on our own this time with out IVF, Hello stupid! We have been trying since DD was 4 months old and my period returned!!! It seems people just do not get it.

I'm sorry, but I had to chuckle a little because my sister asked me this morning if I still needed to do IVF. Last I checked my tubes were still blocked! Now that I think about it, I think she was just checking up on me and probably wondering how things are going. I will admit that I shut my family out of the process just because they are clueless (well meaning though). I prefer to discuss IVF with those of you who totally understand.

You two are right..... people ARE clueless! I have had to "educate" so many. Sometimes I haven't been very gentle in the process. I am so glad I have this place and women like you who TOTALLY understand. I don't have to hold back or explain anything...... relief!

Well this is probably my last post until next week... if I can stand it. I might just have to find the computers on the ship and just check in with you all. Think of me tomorrow.... I start Lupron injections. I am praying that I don't have horrible side effects during my trip.

This is my first time posting, so I am still learning This will be my 3rd try with IVF, and it will be my 1st FET. I am really nervous. I have 3-8 cell grade 1 eggs that were frozen on my last stimulation cycle. We were so positive that we were pregnant during this last cycle which was in July. We were so sad when the 1st beta came back positive, but too low to hold the pregnancy. Then we found out that it must have been a chemical pregnancy. Our doctor told us we should go straight into another cycle, so that is what we are doing. I am just hoping and praying so much. So is my husband. I have been a mom before. I had a beautiful baby boy named Kayden when I was 20. There was an awful accident, and he died when he was 23 months old. My body had some sort of auto immune response due to my extreme depression and stress and killed off my eggs. I now have DOR. I cannot imagine not being pregnant and having another baby. It is the only miracle in the world I would ask for. Sorry for the lengthy post. I went through the last 2 cycles with so many questions and not very much support outside of family and friends, and thought maybe this would be a better route. Is there anything I could do at home to up the chances?

Leslie- Your post brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry for the loss of your child. I know how hard my m/c has been and I didn't get to spend any time with my child. I know you had to have been totally crushed after losing him after 23 months. Oh, I am still crying for you! Welcome to the group though. This is going to be my first FET as well. So far, all questions I have had these wonderful ladies have been able to answer. Those that can't be answered by other's experiences we can learn and find an answer together!

Kay- Don't know if you are reading but I hope you have a great time on your cruise and your beginning shots aren't too bad.

I just realized I haven't posted in a while so I am going to have to catch up with the rest of you all but I wanted to let you know that it looks like I will be staying with you girls! I talked to my RE and he seems very hopeful for the coming cycle. I asked if the 5 frozen embabies were still good and he said "Absolutely! I think there's a baby in there!" You can only imagine how excited I was to hear that! I will write with more details of our conversation later. DH and I are going to get some dinner and do some shopping for some hunting item he just has to have tonight! lol He's not gonna use it for a while but tonight we HAVE to buy it. Have a good weekend and I promise to get caught up on the posts.

Welcome Leslie, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little boy. I know what you mean about a baby being your one and only miracle you would ask for. I totally feel the same way.

My BW and U/S went fine on Friday. I haven't ovulated and no cysts were found. I was a little worried about them finding a cyst 'cause I've been known to have them at the most annoying times, but I was given the all clear to start estrogen patches on Sunday. I updated the calendar with my next appt and yes, it really is on a Sunday. I hope we get lots of BFPs next month!!!

Hi Ladies! I hope it is okay if I join in. I was a July IVf that resulted in a , but I have 8 frozen embryos and we are going to due FET in Sept.

I met with my RE this afternoon and he felt so bad that it didn't work. He said I did fantastic with producing eggs and creating great embroys. We just don't know why it didn't work. He is trying a new, really inexpensive FET protocol for me that he says he has had as much success with as a fresh cycle. I am to call with my next period, then they are prescribing me Clomid to take on days 3, 4, 5, 6 and doing a scan on Day 14, to see the follicle size. They will follow for ovulation, then will trigger me with HCG for reinforcement. I will then take Prometrium twice a day until transfer and then Endometrin twice a day. They will thaw all 8 embryos on day 1 (the day they were frozen) and we will aim for a 5 day transfer. We will transfer the best two and if they others are good as well, we can refreeze them. We are also going to do assisted hatching this time.

He wants to do this method first, to save my insurance money in the event of needing another fresh transfer. I am really excited to try again and really think the assisted hatching might be the key for me. They considered it with the first ones, but they thinned enough that they thought they would be okay. So we will see. In the mean time, I am contemplating trying accupunture. If for nothing else than to be more relaxed.


Leslie - I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. I can not imagine what you have been through and hope that this cycle works for you.
