I am still waiting for my beta to drop... b/w today was still 8- this is so agonizing to me.....I am trying to just go with the flow cuz there is nothing I can do to make it go faster.

Hi Sept FET ladies! Can I join you? I don't know for sure if my FET will be in Sept or Oct. I go to my RE tomorrow for a check on the 'ol uterus (SIS I think).
I have 8 embies frozen from donor eggs which resulted in my now 9 mo old, dear Clara.

Godiva -I am starting to feel like myself which is great, but it makes waiting until September all that much harder. I feel like I am ready to get started even though I know I am not. I should know more about my dates beginning of August.

Kay - Clara is adorable! I will be having an SIS in August. I can't wait to get started with this next cycle. Hoping our group has lots of BFPs.

Thanks for the welcome ladies. I am getting more and more excited about this now. I have to admit I have more anxiety about the FET than the donor egg fresh transfer. I would probably have waited more time in between babies if I wasn't sooooooo old .


What if anything are any of you doing right now to prepare for your upcoming FET?

Kay -I am trying to change my eating habits right now to eat a little more healthy and maybe drop a few pounds. I would like to do acupuncture as well, but really only have enough money to go a few times so I'm not sure if it would even be worth it.

I am attempting to exercise more, and try to get my house organized so I don't feel stressed so much with so much to always do.... I think acupuncture would be nice, but doubt I will try it due to time and costs.

I got PG last time w/out it, so I am figuring the same will happen this time! If only I could be "Bewitched" for a few days, everything would be done likety split!

I too am trying to lose a couple of lbs. I would love to get rid of 10 before the FET, but this is probably not realistic. I would be happy with 6 to 8. I am 5 lbs away from my healthy BMI.
I won't be doing acupuncture either, but I do plan on getting massages once to twice a month.

Went to the RE today and had a SIS done. RE said my uterus looks great and I had the prelim blood work done... if that all comes back normal then I have the green light to go for the FET. I should find out on Monday what my schedule is. I really do need to wean Clara though by the end of the month. I didn't anticipate it would be hard for me to do this.

Any appts coming up for you gals next week?
What are your feelings about your upcoming FET? I am more nervous about this one than any previous attempts.

Kay, Was the SIS painful? I think I had one in the past, but it's been so long. I need to have one beginning of next month. I don't have any appts until August so July is just another month of waiting for me.

This FET cycle I am very nervous as well. Since this is my first cycle since surgery I am on pins and needles. I'm also nervous because DH and I aren't getting any younger so if this cycle doesn't produce the results we want then we will look into adoption. We still have a lot of totsicles left though and want to use them.

How about everyone else? If anyone has any dates or anything let me know and I will add it to the calendar. I imagine this thread will get really busy within the next few weeks.

it's a calendar that everyone updates themselves of doctor appts, meds, important tests, different stages we're all in... it's an easy way to keep track of everyone (if I did it right )

Hi Tonya. The SIS wasn't painful, just a little uncomfortable. You will feel a bit of pressure. It is very much like a vag u/s.
I too am in the waiting right now. I want to get on with things but I am not looking forward to the injections.
Tonya don't get too worried about your age... you are a young one in my book . I am telling you having a baby at this point in my life has been the best thing I have ever done! Really, it isn't all that uncommon anymore. Adoption is a wonderful option as well (I have 3 adopted blessings!). No matter what it is a process... just keep fighting for your dreams even through the frustrations!

Hi Kay! great to see you again! I was wondering if anyone from our group would pop up on the FET boards any time soon

We were going to do ours in Aug, but then decided we couldnt wait and did July instead. The transfer was last thursday, and now Im waiting.... you know how that goes...

good luck to you in September! Ill be cheering for you! Little Clara is going to be such a cute big sister!
