Well, BFN this morning. DH and I tested. I'm 8dp6dt... so, i am pretty sure we are out.

I POAS and got a BFN and then got my beta at 9dp5dt. It was low, but it was there! Then, for DAYS after that, I POAS and only got very very faint lines. Also, watch out for the test you're using. I hear the digital ones are less sensitive to hCG, so they are not the best option early on. Please Tiff, don't give up. As we always say, it ain't over till the beta sings. I'll be for you. Me (33) no problems after every test in the book DH (33) low numbers Married for 5 years TTC- almost 3 years 02/09, Fibroid removed IUI #1-11/08  IUI #2-12/08 IUI #3- 4/09 (all IUIs with Clomid) IVF #1 ET - 7/9/09 2 embabies transferred. 3 embabes on ice. Beta 1- 7/17/09 15.5 7/20/09: Beta 2 dropped to 5.2. "biochemical pregnancy"  Moving forward.... Took a few deep breaths for about a month and finally truly moved forward with FET in August. Started Lupron and Estrogen then and moved into September. 9/16/09: FET of 3 blasts (all that were left...figured we should just go for broke) 9/25/09: 1st Beta: 35 (9dp5dFET) 9/29/09: 2nd Beta: 172 (13dp5dFET) 10/2/09: 3rd Beta: 617   10/6/09: Potenial tiny sac seen. Beta: 997 "borderline rise" 10/9/09: Sac definitely in uterus. beta: 1275, another "borderline rise".  10/15/09: Still just a sac. Not looking good. 10/19/09: Still just a sac. Stopping all meds.

Stay strong Tiff! Wait for your beta. Hopefully it will give you a huge rush! I am sorry you had disappointing news though. I didn't see the VERY FAINT positive line on mine 2 days before my beta until hours later...

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words. I will definitely wait until I get the beta on monday. the problem, is that this has happened one too many times, and it implants late, and becomes a chemical.... but, we'll just have to wait and see. DH and I had a long talk tonight, we'll wait til the fat lady sings, and move to plan b which is our final cycle. After that, knowing we both want to be parents, we would apply for adoption.... but, let's just hope I go in, and the beta is a reasonable number, or not at all... those chemical pregnancies give me less hope than being not pregnant at all!

Tiffany- Thinking of you and crossing everything in hopes that you get a big surprise on Monday.... it really isn't over til the lab lady says so....
I understand your feelings about a chemical, and it's good that you and DH have your POA to fall back on just in case! Hang in there... In about 36 hours you will have your news! Do something fun or just for you tomorrow, like a pedicure!

Thank you kitty and inwoman for your warm welcomes and happy wishes. Good luck to both of yall. Wish I could be traveling with yall but unfortunately it looks like I will be drinking some sake on my bday. Took a home pregnancy test this morning and it came up negative. I'm still holding on to hope for Wednesday.

Jenn6134- When did you do transfer and on what day was transfer 3d or 5d? I wouldn't be throwing in the towel just yet... could have a late implanter which would delay HCG levels. Also, what kind of HPT are you using? You need one that is early detection of 25mcg or less ($store brand or First response gold or first response early results).

 Jenn... dont chill that saki just yet! stay strong popo... re the swine flu... if you would get the normal flu vaccine ( which pregnant women should) the you will be fine.. its pretty much the same Congrats on your beta  AFM have calmed down re the exposure... I spoke to the Dr at the hospital she was taken too and she said they thought measles very doubtful as she had been immunised and that she had a virus with a secondary staph infection

Hello Ladies
sorry I have been MIA it has been a crazy few days with the move and I havent been able to get online much. I went to my Dr today to let her know the news and get a referral to the OB for my scan. I have my second beta scheduled for Wednesday . I woke up this morning with a horrible coldsore which is really quite nasty but I dont want to take anything for it in case its not safe for the baby.How is everyone else doing? Sorry no personals today but I promise I will get back on here properly over the next few days x
